Just another masterpiece rolled out by The Mighty Led Zeppelin. Love The Beatles, Stones, Floyd, CCR, and so many others but Zeppelin was/is next level!!
Onto Album 2 of THE GREATEST Led Zeppelin album of all. "Physical Graffiti" is a MASTERPIECE. I've been listening to it for nearly 50 years. Where does the time go?!? 😀
This song was not played on radio as much as others, but those of us who had the album (MILLIONS) know all the songs well. We understand that Zeppelin can be very diverse in their styling and creativity. Always Top Shelf Material.
One of the most criminally underated songs of all time. I can't think of another group that would have had the vision, the patience, feel, and talent to even attempt it.
According to an interview done many years ago on WEST WARD ONE RADIO. John Paul Jones Mentioned that this song came about when an Older Lady on there Staff became Suicidal after a Freak Car Accident took the life of her Long time Husband! Something Robert Plant had said to her in Private. Actually made it into the Song! The Verse, " When Love is Pain, it Can Devour You "! These words were Particularly Poiniant for her.
I am a child of the 80's, and only listened to synth pop and new wave until college, where I was exposed to classic rock- Zepellin, The Beatles, The Doors..... Still listen to a mixture of old and new. Classics are like lifelong friends you can visit and enjoy from time to time. Zepellin was A rare combination of rock sensability and spirituality that just commands your full and complete attention. Love your insight, and your input. You are spot-on.
Shame you’ve skipped the studio version of Kashmir. I appreciate that you did the live version but it’s one of their most iconic songs and deserves a second listen.
One of my favs by Zeppelin !! Beautiful!! Physical Graffiti is a fantastic album!! Check out the song In the evening and Carouselambra on the In through the out door Album !!
Thanks for trying more Led Zeppelin brother, I love watching and listening with you. Their use of rhythm is something I want to learn more about. Yow! Much love ❤
This is about the only song I like on many people's favorite Zeppelin album. I have all the albums in their 2-disc deluxe versions. On this double album's 3rd disc is an earlier version of this song called Everybody Makes It Through. I think I might like it even more.
Zep is my fav band, I have a zep tattoo , but if you want to hear a real rock band , check out J Geils band , the 1970 J Geils , NOT the 1980's J geils, Detroit Breakdown , Musta got lost,, anything from album Blow you face out or Full house, trust me
so great! indeed - you should do the next 2 songs tcogether the first is a very short accoustic solo by jimi like an introduction to down by the seaside both are great IN SUCCESSION

Probably my favorite Zeppelin song, from their most progressive album.
This song was not played on radio as much as others, but those of us who had the album (MILLIONS) know all the songs well. We understand that Zeppelin can be very diverse in their styling and creativity. Always Top Shelf Material.
Probably the 1 Zeppelin album you cannot live without

This is a classic bro!! Luv this from the GOATS
This song is on my funeral playing list LOL!! For real, I love it!!
This is one of those songs......a big fat joint, headphones...and......ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Top 5 Zep tune for me.
One of three Zep studio tracks where Jimmy bows the guitar - the other two being Dazed and Confused, and How Many More Times.
It's great you're going through the whole Led Zeppelin catalogue! They're in the top of the top (maybe the best of all) of rock bands ever. Thanks!
This song probably saved my life
Fascinating how so far everyone in the comments are all in accord, this is their masterpiece album 🤘❤️
Just love JPJ’s bass line on this
This song is good example of Jimmy Pages "light and shade"😊
This song is sick very trippy

If you liked in the light your going to love down by the seaside
Great Cut
Shot out to Jones and Bonham , best rythem section ever.
Isn't this fabulous? JPJ on keys and Jimmy on the bow!
And on the keys!
No bow on this one,,,
@@58BURSTMessed with my head now...in stereo 🙃
Used to great effect on the last episode of season 1, or season 2, of Netflix’s Mind hunter!

Great watching him get into that groove…. RP’s voice is trashed on this album and I love it! …definitely my favorite LZ album!
He definitely double-tracked his vocal parts that were isolated over the organ.
This was as they called at the time an album filler yeah right
One of my least favorite LZ songs, but if anyone else had recorded it, it would be hailed as a masterpiece.

Glad you were patient...huh?
