Buying cheap Chinese aftermarket parts will cause this. Worked on cars 20 years and we refuse to use some parts unless they are from dealer. I don’t want to warranty a part I’ll have to replace again for free in a month. Pay for good parts it’s simple
Surely you can check the fuel pressure on live data, also I’d spray some easy start into the air intake and if it fires up boom!!! There’s your problem 👍🏼
Not necessarily my bmw did this it was the security system just stop reading my key fob and I drove the car everyday I waste money changing the fuel pump Out
First, look for power to the fuel pump. Have him turn on the key while you listen for the pump. Look at the fuse and test the relay if there is no power. If it has power, then you do a fuel pressure test and go from there. All the new crap is usually the fuel pump control module that is bad
I highly doubt that the fuel pump is the issue. Chances are it could be an electrical issue. It is either a broken wire or possibly has what " Eric O of South Main Auto" calls the green crusties. They cause all sorts of problems with shutting things off while the wire still looks intact. So before replacing the fuel pump again I would check the wiring to the fuel pump. Chances are that is the issue . Check the voltage to the fuel pump if it isn't correct then you have electrical issue.
Impact wrench unbolt the bed bolts unplug the tail light and prop up the bed on the fuel tank side. Way easier than crawling under a dropping the tank faster too.
Ive found that some brands oem is juat better. Nissan has been one sadly. Could be as simple as buying the fuel pump from the dealership and not aftermarket.
The cranking of the engine did not sound normal. The cadence of the engine was off and not smooth and continuous like it should be. It has a little hiccup in the sound as it cranks. Possible compression problem. Not necessarily your no start problem though. I would have tested fuel pressure because you can still have flow but not enough pressure to start. Was the fuel pump kicking on at all when turning the key? If not, did you test power and grounds at the pump?
You could check current flow from the fuel pump fuse to see if it has a good power and ground. That would tell you if you need to drop the tank to check for power and ground at the pump or not.
seen a few people mention the engine compression didn't sound right. you have to remember that this vehicle hasn't run in about a month which is going to cause the cylinder walls to dry up and audio recordings aren't always perfect. may have been one weak cylinder.
Running low on fuel constantly will wear out fuel pumps quickly....i keep fuel tank at least half full at all times..Gas helps to keep pump cool...plus using crappy gas doesnt help
These engines push so much air naturally it can be deceptive. Could also be something as simple as him not replacing a vacuum line or pcv hose back to right position after whatever work he did. There’s tons of these lines on a 6.4 srt Jeep behind the intake manifold….
Tell tail red tape on rear lenses, 2x4 hood holder, torn seat, etc. There are just some customers who just don’t have the money or inclination to do things right. Best bet is thank you, but I have to pass on this one.
I got rat trapped on the head with my supra rear hatch. Very very painful. I paid 25 for some nice ones. I lost a day of work. That hatch weighs a couple hundred pounds. But I was using a ski pole. Lol
Never buy aftermarket parts. Especially fuel pumps.
Those titans from like 05 -07 ish had issues with the fuel pump relay think it was a recall possibly
Hood lift supports cost like $20 i cant understand why people don't replace them
because a block of wood is just sitting there.
Because the thing that holds the lift support is often made of plastic which breaks and CANNOT be repaired or replaced

Most of the aftermarket parts are good. Many are better than oem

Same here its usually 1st thing i do.
Just because it starts in building doesn't mean it's the pump...
Not necessarily my bmw did this it was the security system just stop reading my key fob and I drove the car everyday I waste money changing the fuel pump
Out
I watch these videos and hope he'll get ONE running... And nothing
He definitely has the know how I don’t doubt he can do it I think he just likes to post short videos and a full story is not what he’s going for
That’s wild he this is the second video of his and the first one I saw he helped dude get his second gen right idk what ur on about
@@jydnxo
Nah i like his videos, binge watch a dozen, besides a dead battery, I havent seen him finish a job. Not saying he doesnt, just havent seen it
He has more multiple part videos on his TikTok his YT doesn’t have much
Lol everyone with a broken car wants the full videos I just want these clips
Segmentation Testing Always Wins.
I’d check the relay, ohm out the wires for the pump, and hell ohm out the pump
Remember New means New, it doesn't mean Good.
New means - Never Ever Works🤣

Save the argument show the car running used starting fluid.

Agreed I have got 2 bad pumps back to back 3rd ones always the charm
Check the complete circuit for fuel pump. Manual send power to it if needed before dropping pump
No outcome all of these videos, and I want to find out lol. 😄

On nearly all cars that want to start, IF it’s NOT FUEL RELATED, it’s electrical / sensor. Tell us something we shouldn’t already know anyway.

Yeah that's what I was wondering. But really can't test much until you drop the tank to get to the pump.
thats completely normal when u dont have gas coming in if gas was coming in it would sound smooth@@cody39yrs
Can’t it hear it click on with the key on “on”
Sounded like an engine not getting fuel…. Actually.

Will it start on starting fluid??
Yes
I need work done on a 2019 dodge ram, where are you locates?
Running low on fuel constantly will wear out fuel pumps quickly....i keep fuel tank at least half full at all times..Gas helps to keep pump cool...plus using crappy gas doesnt help
isnt there a fuel pump fuse?
They make more money
Yes there is. It’s a 15A
A relay AND a fuse I believe.
first thing that came to mind was fuel pump relay. i think his diagnosis might’ve been wrong
Or a forgotten ground 🤷🏽♂️ happens to the best of us
That engine cranking did not sound smooth. I believe he has a compression problem also.
Beat me to it. He definitely has a cylinder that is weaker. Eloping
Just said the same thing. Bad engine.
I thought it sounded like it was cranking fast like a timing belt or chain that jumped time,, but who am i

All I’m saying is auto zone has a great record with failed electronics

Last time I changed my blinker fluid no body could verify my repair and laughed at me when I called to ask
I had the same problem last time I changed my muffler bearings!!
No one could help me to verify my repair??🤣
@@simonilett998 😂🤣🥲😅😂🤣
There’s a fuel pump relay but I’m not sure you’re aware of that.
All vehicles have a fuel pump relay. On my car that was the issue it work intermittently. My pump was completely fine the relay was the problem.
I had a fuel pump relay go bad in my 08 civic

Most of the fuel pumps have a control module or dump driver
Always check for gas in the tank
Those titans have cat converter failure that goes back into the heads and chews up the valves
use starter fluid and see if it fires upp
Those hood struts are 20 bucks
2×4 are cheaper!! 😄
I got rat trapped on the head with my supra rear hatch. Very very painful.
I paid 25 for some nice ones. I lost a day of work. That hatch weighs a couple hundred pounds. But I was using a ski pole. Lol
Doesn’t matter if the plastic that holds them is broken you’re out of luck x100
Is there any fuel in the tank?🙈
Here is the deal
I just used my 3 ton jack and a 2x6 to drop my wife's tank, then set it on my creeper and rolled it on out
how about testing the power and ground first
Those titans are no good
Use oem pump
1:48 bad compression. That gallop is from a cylinder or two having poor compression
2:12 Did somebody just hit CJ?
🎉 he seems like he don’t want to trust his diagnosis because he put the fuel pump in and fucked it up
Been there before
Its sounds like compression not that great, like a valve out.. 🤔
Test for power and ground at pump connection or run power ground to pump come on man
she ain't got no gas in it
Fuel gauge may not be working 😊
I hate this video lol need part 2 already

I always thought if you disconnected the fuel line the pump would stop pumping as a safety feature. I have seen cars that do this.
I would sell her to the junkyard truck looks filthy .
This be the type Mexican to post a car on Facebook saying clean title no issues
