Hey man, absolutely great video and good in depth guide to neon ninja.
Just a couple of pointers towards a more late game build for farming u10/stellar farming. As a neon ninja user myself, once your character has enough coefficient and 100% crit hit its quite easy to 1 shot all bosses in u10 so I tend to run trailblazing and zealous emblem (as I have no need for martial and zealous eliminates the need to have energy regen on your gear). As late game usually means high magic find its also a good idea to run conjurers crucible as this regens a lot of flasks when farming u10.
Overall though everything is bang on a near perfect neon ninja build, just thought I'd comment some of the possibilities that were left out. (Also along with endgame build should you have the DPS to easily 1 shot u10 bosses, the Wild Hog ally can be used as it gives +8 MS and +50 MF).

@@lgxgriz7393 Yeah I actually did one video of me talking about the patch notes for one of the previous updates. The only problem is that Trove updates very rarely and barely changes anything, so it's fairly difficult to put together a full video of me discussing the changes. If any big patches come out though I'll make a video about it for sure.

@@lgxgriz7393 Empowered gems (the larger gems) can be obtained from empowered gem boxes. You can get empowered gem boxes most commonly from weekly leaderboard challenges, or from the shadowy merchant crafting bench in the shadow tower (by using lunar souls that you've obtained from weekly delves).
Also, you can occasionally craft stellar empowered gem boxes from the adventurer's crafting bench, which guarantees that the gem will be stellar rarity (but still doesn't guarantee a 3-star).
If you'd like me to; I could make a short video explaining empowered gems sometime in the next few days.
My favorite class I remember asking my ps4 friends for resources for the class so I can get the class and me farming for 500 robotics and then finally getting the class and leveling him up
Awesome guide especially after coming back to this game after a while just one question the dragons that take golden souls do they need to be fully grown to get the extra jump
I believe the soul dragons give you the stats after you've consumed 75 of the specific soul. Also I don't think the Golden Souls give you any additional jumps. Here's the wiki page for the different stat boosts you get from dragons & souls: trove.fandom.com/wiki/Permanent_Stat_Boost
Can you explain to me what do you mean by "High DPS late game" by 2:10?

Glad you liked the video. What I mean by "high DPS" is that the Neon Ninja is able to do high damage per second later in the game. In other words, he attacks incredibly fast and is able to hit multiple targets with his Stasis Blade and empowered Shuriken, dealing lots of damage in a short amount of time.

Crystal gear can be obtained from the Geode Topside areas, or from very low delve levels. It's actually fairly easy to get a crystal weapon, which I mention in my light level video: ua-cam.com/video/3QpxmJ6kiJE/v-deo.html . In order to get a crystal hat & face, I recommend farming Uber 8 in the Geode Topside after you've crafted a crystal weapon. Crystal 1 drops from Uber 8 Geode Topside, crystal 1-2 in U9 Geode Topside, and crystal 1-4 in U10 Geode Topside.
Amazing guide but I just wonder where do you get all your jumps? Is it only on your weapon?
Not sure if anything has changed in Trove since I recorded this video, but at the time I believe I had 28 jumps with roughly 18 jumps from my hat, 7 from my dragon soul stat boosts, 1 from the base jump amount, and something else to give me the remaining 2 jumps.

So this may be a very silly question, but when you mention the 3rd stat being MS, do you mean the literal 3rd, or just one of the original 3 stats?
Also, as someone who is basically just starting, I very much appreciate the transparency that being completely perfect isn't needed, cause that seems overwhelming.
If you have crystal equipment it'll be the _literal_ 3rd stat, since the first and second stat for crystal gear only have one possible roll each. For example; for a crystal face you'd ideally want Max Health / Light / Movement Speed in that order.
Hope you're enjoying the beginning of Trove btw! It definitely gets overwhelming at times, but the good news is that 99% of Trove content doesn't require a perfect build. The only thing I ever struggled with while using my bootleg incomplete build was Delves past depth 115, whereas the rest of it I was able to complete with ease.
Okay, I don't think I even have to worry about crystal yet, I only have shadow gear so far, and don't really know where or how to get better gear lol

ik ik its probz late but ive got a sh with good gems ish but it will give me alot of health (2mil) should i still swap them to nn?
In all honesty, health is pretty much the worst gem stat unless you're playing Revenant. Pretty much every class in the game is better off with damage stats instead.
In the end, it's up to you though. I'd probably recommend just farming up new gems instead of buying regemerators with cubits to swap them.
Hey, I haven't played trove in 3 years. I have come back and I'm building my neon ninja f2p. My neon ninja has 9k pr, for some reason, my neon ninja does really low damage in u8 geode topside. Any tips?

Hello can I ask a question which ability is better in your opinion revenant’s life steal or lunar lancer ‘s ability?
It's hard to compare individual abilities from classes, but personally I like the Lunar Lancer more overall. Both classes are really good though; with the revenant basically being an invincible tank, and the Lunar Lancer doing tons of damage.
Im not sure if ill get a reply as this video was from 1 year ago and i know i may sound stupid but what is that red spiral that appears around ur character and how do i get it ?
The red spiral is my Pyrodisc Empowered Gem, which does damage over time. I talk about it a little at 15:34. And no worries about sounding stupid, I'm always checking my comments to answer any questions that people have!

wait i just want to understand something: can the class gem appear on any type of gem? cuz i got it on a fire empowered gem and then see you also mention explosive epilogue.
I believe you can get it in three of the four elements (water, air, and fire) but not cosmic.
@@bdr498 oh alr so the best one would be air then because epilogue is good and pyrodisc is a must
@@ThundererR64T Unless something has changed since I last played, you should be able to get any ability on the water, fire, and air empowered gems, so it doesn't really matter which ability is on which.
The only abilities that can't be obtained on water, fire, or air empowered gems are Berserk Battler, Flower Power, Empyrean Barrier, and Vampirian Vanquisher, since those are cosmic empowered gem exclusives.

Unfortunately I never ended up making other class guides since I ended up quitting Trove a little while before I finished my Gunslinger guide.

Unfortunately I've stopped making guides for Trove and moved on to other stuff. Good news though is that Vanguard is also a speed farmer like the Neon Ninja, so the build is pretty much identical. If you want, you can switch out the movement speed gear for Critical Damage or Attack Speed instead; but it's up to your personal preference. Also the class gem for Vanguardian is essential, so definitely try to get one of those to use.

how do you get the red thing around your character
The red ring around my character is an empowered gem ability called "Pyrodisc". I talk about it a little at 15:34.
Facts about items are right but application is a bit wrong due to lack of experience I would assume
Also what's the point to grind after basically perfect??? To just max out everything for fun?
Grinding to get the fully perfect build is for players who want to participate in super low delve depths (like depth 110+). In all honesty though, I personally found delves to be very boring, so it was more fun for me to just do other things with an incomplete build.

Hey my neon ninja says trial next tp it and it won't let me lvl up past lvl 4 pls tell me how to fix it
In order to fully unlock the class (and remove the level 4 limit) you have to craft the class at the Chaos Core Crafter on the north side of the hub area. The trial is basically just a way to demo different classes for free to see if you like them or not.

Are the shuriken’s still the main source of damage with the rework?
I'm not super up to date with the current meta and changes, but it seems like his Shuriken is still his main source of damage. Due to the way that his damage scales and the fact that his class gem boosts the damage of his Shuriken even more, it'll probably always be the best way to deal damage as the Neon Ninja.

Is magic damage on neon ninja effective ?
All of the Neon Ninja's damage is physical (including his abilities), so magical damage has no effect on the class.
is the hotbar a type of skin or mod you can get?
The hotbar I use is the "Shadow UI" hotbar mod trovesaurus.com/mod=7518/shadow-ui-hotbar-outdated-bards-extra-bar-invisible
Just a heads up though; if you play the Bard class, the bar is invisible. I personally don't play the bard though, so the mod works fine for me.

what is the orange/yellow aura around his character?
That aura is the Pyrodisc empowered gem effect. The gem ability basically gives a chance on kill to create a ring around your character that increases your movement speed and deals damage to anything inside the ring.

What stats should I use being on switch in uber 2, I only have a few shadow gear
I wouldn't worry too much about specific stats in Uber 2, but the first goal should be to get closer to 100% critical chance with the crit hit stat. Aside from that, anything with crit damage or physical damage will help you progress.

@@drbugz7532 Pretty much the same stats as the crystal weapon stats, minus the light stat. Movement speed also isn't as important early on.
I'd say probably aim for Physical Damage, Attack Speed, Critical Hit, Energy Regen/Critical Damage. If you don't have an energy regen ring then energy regen is good for your 2nd or 4th stat; but if you do have energy regen already, just go for critical damage and attack speed as your 2nd/4th stats.

@@drbugz7532 Pretty much the same stuff that's on the diagram in the description (without the light stat). The 2nd stat on your hat (Jump/MF) doesn't really matter though, until it's crystal.
do you know what is the gem name what kill enemies when they hit you
You might be thinking of Spirit Surge, a gem that has a chance to spawn projectiles that can damage enemies based on your max health.
Does this Guide still work?
For general use and tips it should still be very accurate, but I'm not 100% sure about the Paragon level stuff (since I stopped playing when they added Paragon levels). The equipment and gems should still be correct though. Just in case though, I'd recommend watching this guide and someone else's newer guide to see if there is any extra information.
Does the gems stats have to be on a specific order or they just need the stats?
Luckily, there's no specific order that you need the stats in.

@@miguelbasso1897 Non-crystal gear has 3 stats base and gets a 4th stat when you add a pearl of wisdom to it (in the enchanted forge); while crystal gear starts with 4 stats and gets a 5th stat when you add a pearl to it.

I'm not fully up to date with the last major update, but I'm 90% sure that the ideal ring stats would be the same with the new rings (probably physical damage/energy regen).

I'm assuming you mean Cubits (the yellow currency in the store). Unfortunately there's no easy way to farm cubits, since you only get them from the daily star bar.
However, if you can buy patron with free credits that you get from mastery or credits from the marketplace that you can buy with flux; you will get double cubits from the daily star bar while you have patron.
@@bdr498 Thanks, yeah I'm level 28 with my Neon Ninja and I had a health build. When I saw how strong you other Ninja's were I was so confused. Now I have to save up Cubits to buy Re-Geminators to reset my gems and buy the flask stuff... it's gonna be a hard grind 😪
@@anbu_equinox1814 Yeah, the Re-Gemerator grind is harsh. I built my first Neon Ninja wrong and ended up just scrapping some of my gems without getting their dust back since I couldn't afford the Re-Gemerators.

@@mrmanman2971 That's the Heuristic Haxstar class gem that you'll get way later on, so I wouldn't worry about that until you progress a bit further

How do you get the neon ninja I'm new
The Neon Ninja can be crafted in the Chaos Core Crafter (north side of the Hub) with 3 chaos cores, 15k flux, 500 robotic salvage, 150 diamonds, and 10 golden souls.

Hey wdym by stat boost for gems
At level 5, 10, and 15, your gems will receive a stat boost that increases one of the 3 stats by a decent amount (with the exception of 2-star empowered gems that only get stat boosts at level 10 and 15). This comment is made by someone who has 1500+ hours farming with nn. I have tested and tried different items/stats.
6:30 I dissagree with this being the fastest. Earlygame? Sure. But my end game nn can get faster speeds by activating traiblazing + ally speed proc + pyrodisc proc + vamperian proc. Reason is when you backflip but then dodge right away, you negate the speed loss. However if you are starting off with nothing, then yes, it would be faster.
Also 2:08 nn doesnt have a high dps compared to other classes like ice sage which isn't top dps. When I was testing my nn in levis (u10), I set it up for dps, gear was cd/as with a damage perma on at max light and 9th best coef. I was dealing 4.3 mil damage per shuriken, but at the time of 1 shuriken per 1.5~ seconds. Its good, but when you build for dps, you tragically screw your speed. When I was not using dps, I was getting 1.5mil damage per suiriken at 2.5~ seconds per shuriken.
10:24 no. Just NO. Beamer is awful for farming. When you go and farm dungeons and you have a high enough jump, you will need to use zealous to reset your energy to be able to use the backflip for the speed. This is because your energy regen is cancled upon jumping for 3 seconds. You will also need trailblazing just for the speed, but if your damage is lacking then use martial.
11:20 also not true. I can survive in u10 being shot at by casters without any hp on gems for atleast 5-10 seconds. Its not an instant death. Conjurers crucible is 100% better once you get high magic find. You never run out of flasks.
13:40 you will need better stats to farm faster if you require alot of an item like u9 elemental gem boxes or u10 cosmic boxes.
15:50 yes, up to your choice, but if farming u10 and deep delves (131+), cubic curtian. If farming where you dont take much damage, volitile velocity. All of the others are pretty much usless endgame since you will kill mobs so fast that the others dont make a difference
16:47 with max gems + dragons, no pearls on ch, you will be at 100.4% ch, no health on gems.
17:20 i actually agree with this to some extent. Only other ones would be candy barb for extra ms and pirate for mf

1) 6:30 - For this part, I mostly meant that doing backflips boosts your movespeed drastically and propels you backwards. I know there are other ways to gain additional boosts with buffs, but this is the best base method for gaining speed.
2) 2:08 - Yeah I agree with what you said about this, Neon Ninja definitely isn't a top DPS class. He still does solid damage though up until Leviathans or deep delves, so I consider him a high DPS class.
3) 10:24 - I personally like the Beamer Emblem because it gives me some bonus DPS vs bosses that I can't kill immediately with my shuriken, but I could totally see how Zealous is a better choice for speed farming sometimes.
4) 11:20 - I'm gonna have to disagree with this one personally, but I think we can just agree to disagree. I personally get absolutely demolished by any ranged/projectile units in u10 and die almost instantly without death defying. I also just use origin portals to refill my flasks when I run out.
All in all though, I do really appreciate the feedback, since I'm always open to learning new things like the trick of using the Zealous emblem.
@@bdr498 for 11:20, the reason we have to "disagree" here is that you are not endgame. You dont have all dragons (each dragon gives either 1k hp or 10% hp) and you dont have trove mastery 500 (i dont remember, but i think it is 300% hp total health up to 500 mr).
Im sitting at 768 total mastery so i have all dragons and mastery benifits aside from magic find. I also use cubic curtian which stuns enemies for a short time when they start to attack you. So with that, my nn is sitting at 650-700k hp and a stun mechanic.
