THANK YOU FOR THIS REACTION! Love this song so much. You should react to God bless the USA cover by Home Free ft. Lee Greenwood ft. the United States Air Force Band
I don't think there's a dolly song that isn't great, you might like some of her bluegrass stuff, why can't we, little sparrow, the grass is blue, Mountain angel, old bones The breaking of her voice gets me everytime, the version of I will always love you from best little whorehouse in texas gets me every time
Mentioned many times but Down from Dover is unbelievable. That song still really affects me. Listen to the Live from London version with full orchestra or the version on the Little Sparrow album. Haunting
DOLLY just made me tear up! I have heard this song a MILLION times, but it does something to me when DOLLY'S voice breaks as if she is about to cry! I LOVE THIS WOMAN!!
I had never heard this song, before, and this is a very sad song. Another excellent song about someone who wound up in a mental institution after his heart was broken is John Conlee's hit 'I Don't Remember Loving You.' Conlee's unique voice was a big part of 80s country music, and 'I Don't Remember Loving You' was one of his major hits. Highly advised.
Also want to say, us classic country fans have heard so many great songs & singers. It will take you a lifetime to listen to them all. I've listened to Country all my life & l am still discovering songs l've never heard. Yes, l do know this one. I hope you're enjoying this journey in Country Music. Love a good story song!!😀
"Crazy" by Patsy Cline (written by a young Willie Nelson) is outstanding. "Branded Man" by Merle Haggard "Loving Her Easier" by Tompall Glaser and the Glaser Brothers. "The Man Comes Around" by Johnny Cash "Hurt" by Johnny Cash "Old Dogs and Children and Watermelon Wine" by Tom T. Hall "Clayton Delaney" by Tom T. Hall "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" by Hank Williams Sr. "Country Boy Can Survive" by Hank Williams Jr. "Are The Good Times Really Over For Good" by Merle Haggard "If We Make It Through December " by Merle Haggard "Poncho & Lefty" by Wille Nelson and Merle Haggard.

Keep going! Love the old Dolly songs. The Only Way Out Is To Walk Over Me. I Don't Want To Throw Rice. You should try some Connie Smith. I Don't Remember is a really good one.
This was the first album I ever bought. My dad was in Vietnam and I had a lot of problems at home but he couldn’t come and get me because he had his own drama, but I was not in a mental institution. I played this song and over I wore out.
You should react to some of these songs: - Gods will by Martina McBride - sing me back home by Merle haggard - skin by rascal flatts - I drive your truck by lee Brice - here you come again by Dolly Parton - two doors down by Dolly Parton
I'm 65, grew up listening to Dolly but have never heard this song. I have to say I don't like this one. For fun let's listen to Kenny Chesney Tequila makes her clothes fall off. Just a fun song.
Apparently this actually happened to a relative of Dolly’s. Also check out Dolly’s “Heartstrings “ series on Netflix. It’s a series of her songs turned into stories.
I’ve loved this song since I was a young girl. I truly understand this song more now than ever. Without going into much detail, I had a nervous breakdown in the summer of 2021 and was put in a behavior health unit for awhile. Family that is supposed to love you can hurt you more than anyone.😞
The man introducing her is Porter Wagner... a country music legend. Dolly and him had a quarrel when she wanted to leave his show and he sued her for $ two millions. And then she wrote "I will always love you" for him and sang it to him in his Office. Wagoner broke down in tears and said he'd let her go if he got to produce that song on record. And that's what happened. A little on the side... Dolly wanted to record a duet with Whitney Houston after the success from the movie Body Guard. Houston refused.....a disgusting Diva she was then.
I have gotten to where when I log onto my iPad the first thing I look for is any new videos that you have posted about country music after I left the Air Force in 1973 I drove a truck from local to cross country until 1987 so I listened to a lot of country music and coming up in the 60s I also love classic rock but I'm still with you on your country music journey great reaction again thanks
hm im starting to wonder what else is going to happen to dolly... shes been laughed at, hears her man calling out other womens names, lost her baby and now thrown in the nut house.. are aliens going to abduct her? will she be stranded in the desert with no water? idk maybe someone will throw her down a well, and shell be like 'my love for you is deep, but this is ridiculous'
Please listen to Brad Paisley featuring Dolly Parton in the song When I Get Where I'm Going. It shows family photos from both artist and I love the song.
Aw u should do The Dance, garth brooks, the original! And please speakn of dolly look at Artest now and the , they mix dollys i will always lovd u and willie nelson on the road again!
I'm enjoying the country music journey. I only "heard" country music when I was forced to through my parents. I've come to appreciate it more with age so I'm riding as a passenger with you, buckled up of course. Lol. I would so appreciate seeing you react to Kenny Rogers "Through the Years" I've always loved Kenny and Dolly though!
Never hard this one before; what a subject matter-- an asylum 👀 You mentioned Coat of Many Colors, which I've heard before; will have to check your reaction. I just subbed earlier, after watching your Terence Trent D'arby reaction, Holding On To You 💜
Dolly did a series on Netflix called Heartstrings i think, which turned some of her songs into mini movies. She also had a full length movie based on the song Coat of Many Colors & a girl plays Dolly as a little girl. They also portray the time her baby brother died which links in with the making of the actual coat
Can't wait Tasha... you're probably going to need your box of tissues for this one LOL... I also want you to know that Dolly happy songs as well LOL, it's just that the sad one's really are attention Grabbers LOL... she sings a lot of playful songs like potential new boyfriend, spiritual songs like How Great Thou Art, cultural songs like Peace Train.... anyway, I can't wait for down from Dover, I've been requesting it forever LOL
Hmmm ... Dunno ... One could think of child abuse, and that the child wants it. Not heard of such constellation through citizen's services like newspapers, radio. On a naïve view it is a child brought up without mother, and father has new date of adult age, and it's like some pets don't accept new family members, or even brothers and sisters being drawn off attention because of newborn baby needs more care then them.
Ahhh!! Thank you for doing my request!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ keep the country music coming! Thanks, Tasha!
Down From Dover, and Blue Ridge Mountain Boy,

I agree 100% do God Bless The USA with Home Free, Lee Greenwood USAF band singers!! Awesome!!!

Reacto to Máneskin the winners Eurovision 2021 is great band
I don't think there's a dolly song that isn't great, you might like some of her bluegrass stuff, why can't we, little sparrow, the grass is blue, Mountain angel, old bones

In the Podcast Dolly Parton's America Dolly admits this actully happened to an aunt of hers and so she wrote a song about it.
Mentioned many times but Down from Dover is unbelievable. That song still really affects me. Listen to the Live from London version with full orchestra or the version on the Little Sparrow album. Haunting

Bettye Lavette's version of Dolly's Little Sparrow is great. Dolly is such a great songwriter that there are many excellent covers of her music.
I grew up with this classic! Love her music! Yes, this song is goose-bump-producing!
Please listen to Brad Paisley featuring Dolly Parton in the song When I Get Where I'm Going. It shows family photos from both artist and I love the song.

Wow Dolly was so young here I didn't recognize her, and wow what a voice too.
I thought I had heard every song Dolly had ever done but I've never heard this.
This Woman's voice is so Beautiful.
Has anybody yet mentioned Down From Dover or To Daddy?
Two fun songs I'm sure you would like are Shelly West Jose Cuervo, and The Rovers Wasn't that a party.
That actually happened to someone she knew.
DOWN FROM DOVER.. PLEASE!! Lol
Here you come again and two doors down are good Dolly songs too
Great reaction beautiful lady
DOWN FROM DOVER is one of her favorite songs she said she's written. They would not play it on the radio back then because of the subject matter.
A very powerful, moving song.
Yes, that’s next on my list!
@@TheAdventuresofTNT have tissues ready.
Oh no 🤦🏾♀️ lol thanks for warning me
It’s all wrong but it’s all right
I'm glad I tuned into your videos. I think you play
the best country.
Why thank you 😊 I’m glad you’re here
Powerful! There was a time, not so long ago, a person could be committed into a mental institution against their will.
Men did it to their wives back a lot back then!
This time I cried instead of Tasha lol
Another movie to check out walk the line autobiography of Johnny cash
Yes, I will be watching soon.
Do Grandpa by the Judds
I have never heard this song! Its very sad!
Willie Nelson’s “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain” or “Angel flying to Close to the Ground “
Another sad one of hers gypsy joe and me
I FRICKING LOVE THIS SONG
I'm enjoying the country music journey. I only "heard" country music when I was forced to through my parents. You are very right! Dolly actually has a series on Netflix where they have made movies of her songs! 😁
Get out of Porter era
Dolly has 21 #1 songs
Great song
Why...??
Never hard this one before; what a subject matter-- an asylum 👀
You mentioned Coat of Many Colors, which I've heard before; will have to check your reaction. I just subbed earlier, after watching your Terence Trent D'arby reaction, Holding On To You 💜
Please do a reaction to Barbara Mandrell ft George Jones I Was Country, When Country Wasn't Cool..
Gypsy, Joe And Me is a good song from Dolly
That’s on the list. It’ll be up soon
Dolly did a series on Netflix called Heartstrings i think, which turned some of her songs into mini movies. She also had a full length movie based on the song Coat of Many Colors & a girl plays Dolly as a little girl. Would LOVE to see you react to "There Was Jesus" by Zach Williams and Dolly Parton..
would love both of your reactions to hwy 20 ride by the zac brown band
This song is confusing. Is she his daughter, or...........?
Her boyfriend put her in a mental institution because she was "distraught" over losing him, she is asking for her daddy to come get her out of there.
Husbands back in those days had their wives committed to get them out of the way quite often
Try down from Dover
That’s up next everyone has been requesting it.
Thanks Tasha
Can't wait Tasha... you're probably going to need your box of tissues for this one LOL... It is called Gaslighting. There is a movie about it. The Dixie chicks have a song called gaslighter. It's really good.
