    What a wonderful tutorial. Thank you. I have never seen cables in anything but one color. I love this. Now to go watch the other videos.

    This is such a awesome move, thank you!!! Could you possibly point me to the right direction on how to decrease the added color?

      It is the same as this technique for cable flare reduction bind off, just use your second color. - ua-cam.com/video/EvKMDdnhY2M/v-deo.html

    Is intarsia always the best method of adding color to cables, or can you also do stranded knitting, and if so, when is one better than the other?

    • @SuzanneBryan
      @SuzanneBryan  5 років тому

      It depends on the circumstances. You can always do a swatch and see which works best for your project.

    How would one gauge how much yarn to cut off for each of the colored cable arms ?

    • @SuzanneBryan
      @SuzanneBryan  5 років тому +2

      I cut off about 5 or 6 feet, longer and they tangle too much. Whatever I can pull through the easiest. If I run short, I use the splicing join to add more yarn without having to weave in the ends. Happy knitting.

    Do you have small balls of yarn for each strand of the intarsia knitting added?

    • @SuzanneBryan
      @SuzanneBryan  5 років тому

      I don't really ball them up, but rather leave them loose. It is easier to keep them untangled that way. It is personal preference.

    I am perplexed by the chart. Though I have not done this technique I have used charts before. When an increase was made the chart showed an extra square. Why isn't that done here?

    • @SuzanneBryan
      @SuzanneBryan  4 роки тому

      At 1:33 you can see the no stitch squares on the chart. The row above is where the new stitches show up. Hope this helps. Happy knitting.

    WOW! When you fold the yarn, how much do you fold? Just enough for the tail, or for the whole piece? I’m not sure I understand that part.

    • @SuzanneBryan
      @SuzanneBryan  5 років тому +1

      If you fold the yarn, fold it in half and have enough length for each leg of the cable. Happy Knitting.

    I really like your vids but they are sometimes so blurry, it is just hard to see the fine detail.

      Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have gone back and figured out when they changed. It appear that prior to March 20th, 2019 I was uploading in HD, but after, for some reason, non-HD. I have reset my upload to HD. I really appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately, I can not fix the blurry ones without re-uploading them, and I am not doing that. But, all future will be in HD.
