Thanks for the video. As of 2024, they are all approximately $10 more expensive I ended up going with USA Transfer. Kalido was sold out when I tried to book and is the least expensive at $75 (2024 price) so I went with USA Transfer at $85 round trip for my 4 day stay in Cancun. Happy Shuttle was $88 and Canada transfer didn't have anything for the day either.

I really like USA because their drivers are given an 8 hour shift rather than a 12 hour shift. IMO USA transfers are good to their drivers and they, in turn, are good to their customers. (At least it's true for the many drivers we have spoken to over the years). 😊
USA Transfers and Kalido have never let us down (have used each about 6 or 7x). Always waiting for us with a big sign, and are so friendly. Cant go wrong with either ❤

I don't know why but it's worth a giggle. 😄 Whichever one you prefer you can choose them no matter where you are flying in from and from any terminal. They are both reputable companies and we have had good experiences using both. Have a look at our videos navigating the Cancun airports. They are really helpful in seeing exactly where to go and who to avoid. I find airports stressful so I try to create videos that would bring me some peace of mind and I hope it helps others too. No. It is not hard to find them at the airport. When you exit the terminal and go outside, keep walking. You will see people holding up signs with their company logos on them. Look for Happy Shuttle. If you don't see them it is perfectly fine to ask another company where they are standing. They are not sharks out there, just inside. 😊 Enjoy your trip!!!

Cancun airport is busy but if you have a biometric passport and are from the USA or Canada you can use the E-gates and those are a bit quicker. Finding your luggage at he baggage carrousel is simple. After you go past customs and go out the glass door ignore everyone out in the car rental and tours area. Those wearing navy blue are usually time share sales people AKA sharks. There is no need to talk to anyone in this area until you are outside. When you got outside you can start looking for someone holding up their happy shuttle sign or feel free to ask other transfer companies where you can find happy shuttle. Most people are friendly and helpful out there. Sunwing likely uses Best Day for transfers. Most Canadian carriers do. I am new to this UA-cam stuff and we weren't making videos when we went to Secrets Akumal but I hope to get back soon and make one. It is definitely one of my favourites. 😊 Bring your snorkel the beach is great for spotting turtles. 🐢

Personally, I would contact Canada Transfers in advance and make sure they offer exactly what you want and where you want to stop in order to avoid disappointment. USA transfers is a very safe and reliable company and we have used them dozens of times. I also really like Kalido. Hi! If you are not flying into Cozumel airport then the Cancun transfer companies will take you to the Cozumel Ferry Terminal in Playa del Carmen. From there you can take the ferry to Cozumel and then you have the options of: A taxi from the Ultramar Ferry to the Westin. Rent a car. Or message the Westin and see if they have a hotel shuttle from the ferry dock. The Westin is about 5-7 kms away from the ferry dock. Hope that helps. Ultramarferry.com has some info that might help you as well.
We had a great experience with Canada Transfers. They have a sign with your name on it - so you can be sure you are finding the right rep. Request Sr. Ruben. Excellent driver!

I would plan to make a stop on your way to the resort and stock up. Everything at the airport is ridiculously over priced. Even the mini mart. I believe Costco, Walmart, and Chedraui all sell liquor in their Cancun locations. Contact the transfer company that you like best and inquire about a stop and costs. Hope that helps 😊

Yes, Best Day is a very popular transfer company that is included in many vacation packages. We did use Best Day a couple times as it was included in our Westjet Vacations package to Marina el Cid and we also used them again for an Air Canada Vacations package to Excellence Riviera Cancun. They were fine for us. They are easy to find at the airport. Just look for someone holding the Westjet Vacations sign. Unless you booked private, it will be a transfer in an air conditioned bus stopping at several resorts a long the way. They will also tell you what time they are picking you up for your return trip to the airport. We have never used BD for private transfers as we have found that adding them onto our package vacations is too expensive and there are better transfer companies for private transfers for less $. Even if it is included, we sometimes opt to just skip it and book private in order to not waste a lot of time in a bus stopping for other people. A nice bonus at the moment is if you are using the Westjet Vacations included transfers and you run into traffic issues Westjet is unlikely to leave without you. Hope that helps a bit. :)
I've used them 8 times over the last 4 years as part of my Vacation package with Westjet. Excellent service every time. They're always easy to find once you come out of Terminal 4 and they always show up within minutes of the time they state when picking you up at the Resort.

Hi! My friend travels in his wheelchair twice a year to Cancun. Several of the transfer companies offer this service. Check out their websites to choose the one the best fits your needs. I would suggest starting with Happy Shuttle and compare. I'm sorry, I have not used Costco delivery in Cancun. The most we have done is schedule an hour stop at Costco along the way.
Across the board. They have all skyrocketed since I made the video. 😲 Last month we found Kalido to have the best prices but they sell out early so we missed out on using them. USA Transfers costs us $120 for 4 of us round trip to Playa del Carmen.
@@jignamehta5854 Kalido is usually the least expensive but they sell out quickly. The rest are all usually within a out $5 of each other. Taxis are very expensive and ride shares are not allowed in the airport yet. The Ado buses are about $2 pp.

It is always good to compare pricing between a few companies. It seems to fluctuate with changes in location and exchange rates. I found USA transfers to have the best price to PdC in November but Kalido was better in January. They were all within $10 of each other so for us, it is more a matter of what extras we are looking for.
Yes, a bit earlier than normal. It depends on which resort and which direction you are coming from. Your transfer company can tell you more up to date information when they tell you your departure time.
Most of these companies will track your flight and pick you up whenever you land, unless you are flying private. If you are arriving on a commercial carrier and have an unusual landing time, USA Transfers has an app and you can chat with them about your concerns and they can give you more detailed information.

If yes, it will be Seasons who picks you up. They are friendly and very reliable in my experience. If your transfers are NOT included in the rate you booked, I personally find Seasons to be a bit over priced. @@michaelkass4617 I think you might be referring to when I was talking about trying to travel carry-on only with no checked bags. Some transfer companies let you order sunscreen and bug spray and other liquids that are over the carry-on liquid allowances and they will be bagged up and ready for you with your driver so you don't need to worry about packing it. It is just a perk some companies offer if you book them. I have never had anyone limit our actual baggage in a transfer, not that we usually have an excess amount. Does that help clarify a bit? ☺️
My pleasure! It is not required to tip but it is customary in Mexico to tip for good service. I would tip your driver and the amount really depends on how many people are in your group.
Have you had issues with Canada transfers??? We booked with them twice & in Jan they were late plus had no way to contact them. Fortunately one of the locals helped us out & got ahold of them...

You must have been very frustrated! There should have been a phone number on your booking confirmation page to contact them if you had any issues at the airport. I would suggest booking a shared transfer rather than a private one. It will save some money but you will have to wait a bit longer for everyone who booked to arrive. Cancunshuttles.com allows you to see prices for 1 person. Pricing is on how far away you are staying, of course. You can also take the Ado bus from the airport. Shared transfers save $ if you are only 1 or 2 people. Private transfers are often more economical if your group is 3 or more. USA transfers and CANADA transfers are simple passenger vans unless you upgrade to their VIP service. Hope that helps. 🙂
Hi! At 4:27 minutes into the video I explain that we are comparing pricing to Excellence Riviera Cancun for pricing reference amongst all of the different companies. I apologize if it would have been more helpful to have mentioned it earlier or maybe mentioned the area and not a specific resort. My referencing ERC is simply to show the difference between the different transfer companies, you have to input a resort to confirm pricing and each resort area will have a different price based on how far away it is from the airport. I will try and make another one at the end of 2023 to see how things have changed and I will keep your comment in mind. Thanks 🙂
booked a shuttle RT with Expedia. Mexico Travel Solutions. NEVER go with these guys. should've just taken a taxi from the get go, but the biggest complaint i have is for the return trip which was t 10pm flight they said they need to pick me up at 5 am or pay extra for a later time. i said no worries ill be up and ready by then,/// i called them the nigh before as they had problems dropping me of when i first got to the hotel resort..we verified 5am tomorrow at the hotel i was staying. fast forward the day of departure...they never came..waited by the lobby called and texted them a few times when they never showed up..then gave up and called taxi after 2 hrs ( intl flights require you to be there few hrs early)/// anyway no refunds or even apologies from these guys, waste of time and money. keep away. from MTS

I've used them 8 times over the last 4 years as part of my Vacation package with Westjet. Excellent service every time. They're always easy to find once you come out of Terminal 4 and they always show up within minutes of the time they state when picking you up at the Resort.

Hi! My friend travels in his wheelchair twice a year to Cancun. Several of the transfer companies offer this service. Check out their websites to choose the one the best fits your needs. I would suggest starting with Happy Shuttle and compare.
I'm sorry, I have not used Costco delivery in Cancun. The most we have done is schedule an hour stop at Costco along the way.

Last month we found Kalido to have the best prices but they sell out early so we missed out on using them. USA Transfers costs us $120 for 4 of us round trip to Playa del Carmen.

@@jignamehta5854 Kalido is usually the least expensive but they sell out quickly. The rest are all usually within a out $5 of each other.
Taxis are very expensive and ride shares are not allowed in the airport yet.
The Ado buses are about $2 pp.
I booked with Otium transfers, are they reliable or should I consider getting another one?

It is always good to compare pricing between a few companies. It seems to fluctuate with changes in location and exchange rates.
I found USA transfers to have the best price to PdC in November but Kalido was better in January. They were all within $10 of each other so for us, it is more a matter of what extras we are looking for.
Did the construction on the highway have you departing your hotel earlier than normal?
Yes, a bit earlier than normal. It depends on which resort and which direction you are coming from. Your transfer company can tell you more up to date information when they tell you your departure time.
CARM is excellent.
are these 24hrs?
Most of these companies will track your flight and pick you up whenever you land, unless you are flying private.
If you are arriving on a commercial carrier and have an unusual landing time, USA Transfers has an app and you can chat with them about your concerns and they can give you more detailed information.

Did you book a refundable trip directly with Excellence that has transfers included? If yes, it will be Seasons who picks you up. They are friendly and very reliable in my experience.
If your transfers are NOT included in the rate you booked, I personally find Seasons to be a bit over priced. I would suggest Kalido or USA transfers (if your transfers are not included in the rate you paid).

@@michaelkass4617 I think you might be referring to when I was talking about trying to travel carry-on only with no checked bags.
Some transfer companies let you order sunscreen and bug spray and other liquids that are over the carry-on liquid allowances and they will be bagged up and ready for you with your driver so you don't need to worry about packing it.
It is just a perk some companies offer if you book them.
I have never had anyone limit our actual baggage in a transfer, not that we usually have an excess amount.

My pleasure! It is not required to tip but it is customary in Mexico to tip for good service. I would tip your driver and the amount really depends on how many people are in your group.
Have you had issues with Canada transfers??? We booked with them twice & in Jan they were late plus had no way to contact them. Fortunately one of the locals helped us out & got ahold of them...
Hi! No, we have never had a problem with Canada transfers any time we have used them. I have found them very reliable. That is really disappointing to hear that they dropped the ball for you. You must have been very frustrated! There should have been a phone number on your booking confirmation page to contact them if you had any issues at the airport. Did they explain to you what had gone wrong on their end to cause the problem?

We booked with Canada transfers and when we arrived there were other people from our flight that booked with them as well The reps were running around and looking like they didn't know what to do After about half an hour of waiting they took us to a shuttle and said we would be sharing it with other people and would be making 2 stops on the way to our resort They didn't have shuttles available When my wife complained she was told we could ask for a refund and find our own way Never again ever

I would suggest booking a shared transfer rather than a private one. It will save some money but you will have to wait a bit longer for everyone who booked to arrive.
Cancunshuttles.com allows you to see prices for 1 person. Pricing is on how far away you are staying, of course.
You can also take the Ado bus from the airport.
Shared transfers save $ if you are only 1 or 2 people. Private transfers are often more economical if your group is 3 or more. USA transfers and CANADA transfers are simple passenger vans unless you upgrade to their VIP service.

Hi! At 4:27 minutes into the video I explain that we are comparing pricing to Excellence Riviera Cancun for pricing reference amongst all of the different companies. I apologize if it would have been more helpful to have mentioned it earlier or maybe mentioned the area and not a specific resort.
My referencing ERC is simply to show the difference between the different transfer companies, you have to input a resort to confirm pricing and each resort area will have a different price based on how far away it is from the airport.
I will try and make another one at the end of 2023 to see how things have changed and I will keep your comment in mind. Thanks 🙂

booked a shuttle RT with Expedia. Mexico Travel Solutions. NEVER go with these guys. should've just taken a taxi from the get go, but the biggest complaint i have is for the return trip which was t 10pm flight they said they need to pick me up at 5 am or pay extra for a later time. i said no worries ill be up and ready by then,/// i called them the nigh before as they had problems dropping me of when i first got to the hotel resort..we verified 5am tomorrow at the hotel i was staying. fast forward the day of departure...they never came..waited by the lobby called and texted them a few times when they never showed up..then gave up and called taxi after 2 hrs ( intl flights require you to be there few hrs early)/// anyway no refunds or even apologies from these guys, waste of time and money. keep away. from MTS
