- Another Hive motorcycle is out of the Two Car Garage! I spent 1.5 years tearing down, customizing, fabricating, then rebuilding this 1983 Yamaha Virago 920 (xv920). You'll see me change haircuts, change glasses, and change clothing layers as the seasons pass and the bike progresses. While this was being built I changed jobs and had my second child!

This is now the most watched video on my channel! let's take it to the moon!!!
Amazing job ❤
If I bought the same bike, would you build one for me in similar fashion?
Defenetly one of the best transformation I've ever seen
You sir are an artist and engineer in radical design change.
What an unbelievable transformation! Great to see the fruits of all your hard work
Thanks for watching along!
That's a really "Top Quality" conversion!!..Well done!!
Absolutely gorgeous, very good taste.
I have never cared for or understood the cult following of the Virago. That being said, this is probably the coolest cafe builds I’ve ever seen. Great looking bike. Very tastefully designed.
Thanks!
I love it! I've always been inspired by these virago builds, mine has unfortunately been sitting for some time and I couldn't find time or motivation to keep working on it. But watching your video is giving me powerful inspiration to bring my project back to life. Thank you for your build!
The transformation is insane. Awesome build
Thank you very much!
Engine sounds sooooo good!!
What a beautiful job you did on your bike it's rideable art , keep up the great work
Beautiful build well done!
You're very talented. Turning a very fugly bike, into a work of art.
Paul
That is soooooo badass man! Love it!
Unbealievable! Brutal!
I wish I had the skills and knowledge to attempt a build like this. Love your work.
Well done. Great work with the fabrication. Your an artist.
Ragazzi..!! Bravi..bravi davvero. Mi piace l'idea di vedere giovani così appassionati con idee geniali. Unico appunto..permettetemi di farlo. Telaietto posteriore NERO assolutamente. Per il resto complimenti.. è bellissima. 💪💪
awesome bike, congrats!
Beautiful build , i just bought a xv1000 tr1 from81' cant wait to start building it something beautiful as yours 👍🏻👍🏻
About to buy one also, love that much the TR1
Good Job. 👍
Looks awesome
Clean build! keep it up!
I'm glad you added footage of you riding that thing, it would have been such an anti climax if we didn't get to see that. I hate when people don't add that in the end. 😄
Make the swingarm same paint like the fueltank and it looks far more better , nice job bro 👍
Just beautiful.... 👍
Good work
Ugly duckling into a beautiful Swan. Well done
Amazing!!!
Just as easy as that 7 minutes! Just kidding, that’s a TON of work 🎉 looks great!
Artist
Luv it. ❤
Beautiful work!! 👏🏽👏🏽
I have dual mikunis VM34 but is being a pain in the aS$ for tunning the right way..
I bought the mikuni OZ single carb manifold and I will try it this weekend, but what Jet size would you recommend? Biggest Jet i have on hand right now is a 220.
Let me know what do you recommend me,
Thanks.
Привет! Отличный мотоцикл!!! Так держать! Я то же делаю мотоциклы .
Beautiful.. it needs a front mud guard and a rear hugger. Function over style.
haha this bike is the definition of style over function!
@@two-cargarage I too have delved into that hole during my customising days.. i fully understand the pull 😆
رائع
Awesome results. Onto the next project? 😁
Looks great! How did you run with a single carb?
Looks great. What wheels are you running?
🔥🔥
Damn men 🔥🔥🔥🫡
Which model is the rear wheel?
Hey, im doing same build but im having issues with the clutch. Which clutch cable are you using? Thanks.
I custom make my cables.
If you don't want to invest in the tools, give motion pro a call and they can make custom cables for you
What intake is that
Glad to see your doing something with those $10 dollar motorcycles.... lol
Where are going to mount the plate?
weeeeeell I haven't really thought about that much haha
920
The white swing arm has got to go. That Virago is one of the nicest I have seen. Well done on everything. It is truly beautiful....except that white.....
Thanks for the kind words and for sharing your opinion! I love the swingarm, I think it sets it apart. But I agree that it's certainly not for everyone.
@@two-cargarage No doubts... definitely not trying to criticize the build. It is amazing and gives a ton of inspiration, especially to the home builder. I hope my CB750s come out even half as good as this Virago did, if so, I would be pleased as pie.
That white swing arm is… **chef’s kiss**
What front end is that?
05 GSXR 750, special edition with a cognitomoto stem conversion
😛
The 750 virago is a ugly bike but the looks of the motor is interesting for the cafe racers (builders).
Nice, gas tank have strike red black and great job
Hello, what carburetor did you put on it, what motorcycle? . greetings from Argentina
The 920 was one butt ugly bike. That being said I did own an '85 Maxim 700. It was a good sandwash bike. Your build is spectacular. It's too bad Japan can't do bikes like that from the factory.
