Was recently on 9 week road trip over 8000 miles. Had 12 volt fridge freezer and solar generator. Loved it. Never bought any ice. Kept solar generator charged with cig lighter while driving.
I love my ICECO refrigerator freezer. Thank you for the information. I’ve been trying to learn to use it. I thought I was doing it right until I followed your directions that does help , my wife said see what happens when you follow directions.
Looks like a nice little DC Fridge. 4 years ago I unplugged my Kitchen fridge/freezer and started using the smallest Bluetti fridge. It’s been working great 24/7 for 4 years. I’m a fan of Bluetti products. Everything I’ve purchased from them is still working like new.
Have to agree on how handy and useful these 12volt fridges are. I use mine in the Hyundai Veloster for day trips and also as extra refrigeration in the motor home for when I’m away for long time. Money well spent!
Hi Dave, I have an Iceco fridge freezer and I really like mine. I have the 75 Qt with split top so if you go into the fridge you aren’t opening the freezer at the same time. The size is ridiculously large for me but you know when you first start out with a van build it’s hard to know for sure what you need. The only problem I have with it is that when it’s really hot out the compressor kicks on a lot. I don’t have solar on my roof only portable style. And I have a Jackery 1000. Running it with that set up isn’t the best, buyI think once I get my solar setup properly it will work better. I use the insulated cover and that helps, also I found that by moving the unit to have more air circulation around it that helped to. Overall it’s great to have ice and it will keep ice cream rock solid. I think it’s worth the money. Have fun on your trip!
Dave, they used to be called "trucker's fridge". Love it! Been using one for our day trips for years. Easy hack to bring down the temp quick in the fridge? Put an ordinary brick in your home freezer a day or two before you hit the road. Put it in your cooler an hour or two before you leave and not only will it bring the temp down to your setting but it will keep everything nice and cold for you.
Do you need the 12v cable to use the AC110 adapter? That would be a deal breaker for me. I leave the 12v adapter cable hooked up in the car so I can just bring the fridge from the house into the car without having to re run the cables. (Getting ready to do that now for a trip to Atlanta.) I use the compressor fridge as auxiliary space in the house and for trips and grocery runs in the car.

A very nice looking portable refrigerator! 😁😁. I’m with you on utilizing a portable power bank. Well done Dave.
Iceco is a bad company. Rude and hang up when compressor fails less than two years
Iceco are jerks, hang up phone when compressor fails at 1 year

Good morning!
@@DavesRVLife Thank you ma'am for the info of this cooler
That is one nice machine. Just the right size .💕💕🐾🐾
These are great fridges, esp for medications or even baby food/ formula (if needed)
Oh wow I love your Cooler Car Fridge! Really nice. Going to go check it out myself now. Stay safe.
Received an email from ‘you’ that began with Shalom… 😆 😆 😆. Then of course the $ pitch. Your picture and all. Just an fyi
Just staying out of convenience stores will pay for that cooler very quick.

Love Dave, silly guy and cannot believe how long you're hair is , I don't think you need to worry ABOUT hair thinning ever .
Really nice. I could use a 12 volt freezer. Something a little bigger though. But that one looks quite nice.👍
Perfect! I Look forward to a future review.

nice sleek looking cooler; curious as to price; if full-time van/tent camper I could see having two as one for freezer and 2nd for fridge
