If they had Killian Hayes yes.
It would put them above every team ever assembled.

People gotta pick a narrative 80-21. Either the Celtics earned those, or the rest of the league rolled over and handed it to them. Either this is a historically great Celtics team, or we’re living through a historically weak period in the NBA.

All time great team for winning one ring where the best player of each opponent was injured?

And they didn't even play the best team in the West

As a single season achievement, yes. They have a case for being on the great teams in NBA history. The only thing to hold against them is opponent strength in the playoffs. But they demolished everybody put in front them. In the 21st century I will have the following teams ahead of them (Not in any particular order)
    1. 2000-2001 Lakers
    2. 2015-2016 Warriors (Didn't win a ring)
    3. 2016-2017 Warriors
    4. 2022-2023 Nuggets
    5. 2013-2014 Spurs (Just for the playoffs)
    6. 2011-2012 Miami Heat
    7. 2007-2008 Celtics
    8. 2003-2004 Pistons

Okay, so the 2013 Heat were better than the 2012 Heat, the 2018 Warriors should probably be on your list, the 2023 Nuggets weren’t nearly as good as you seem to think they were and the 2024 Celtics were absolutely better than the 2008 Celtics and 2004 Pistons.

after every championship people start treating the champions as an all-time team. Last year it was Denver, now Boston. Neither are anywhere close to an all-time great team (not yet at least).

It’s great that you feel confident in your arbitrary take on what is or is not historic in a team. As the man said, the numbers are the numbers.

No, all time great teams need to go through the fire of beating quality competition. The east was meh at best this season and the Mavs were a "lucky to be there" team from the west.
The Bucks, 76ers and Heat were supposed to be the top contenders in the east but were all a mess. The Kinks dropped like flies to the point that the Pacers made it to the ECF.
The Nuggets got beat by the Timberwolves, but that took all the gas the Wolves had and so the Mavs crushed them in the WCF.
I don't think the Celtics would have beat the Nuggets or a well rested Wolves team.

Lol. There’s absolutely no reason to think that the Celtics wouldn’t have defeated a “well rested” Wolves team. You’re making excuse after excuse.
