    I am an After effects user. I dont use Nuke much. But i still watch your tutorials nevertheless. I try to apply these methods especially the compositing techniques which you share and use it on my work. Thank you for making these videos. 🙏

    Great tips, Thanks for sharing... If you have time, I would like you to make some videos on the following topics.
    1. Using Lens Flares in Nuke , how to create a great looking Lens Flare like in After Effects
    2.Camera projection in nuke especially on flat surfaces like roads, without using Maya or other 3D Packages
    3. Wire removal on characters using paint in Nuke
    4. How to match grain manually, without using Regrain.
    5. 3D Modelling in Nuke using reference images
    I have many doubts. There are lots of tutorials online, but you explain professionally.I trust your workflow.
    If it possible kindly make some videos based on this . Thank you very much

      Hi, I will definitely support your Patreon page...I was wondering about more of the AE to Nuke jump series. Or idea from what to start, so I can follow with these more advanced series...My work is mostly motion graphics, but they started giving me more VFX work and I think Nuke will be perfect match...

    • @HugosDesk
      @HugosDesk  5 років тому +2

      Well, when Apple discontinued Shake Fusion had a good chance to be the industry standard but because it lacked a Linux and Mac port it lost out to Nuke. After a few years Nuke dominated the VFX industry and even with the eventual Linux and Mac port, Fusion was too late to the party. Now Nuke is completely integrated into VFX pipeline, it will take time for any new compositor to come in. Normally VFX companies stay with softwares for a long time for stability and pipeline development.

      God rays, also known as crepuscular rays, refer specifically to sunlight passing through clouds.
      I'm not sure what a spotlight through smoke is called... but it's not a god ray :P
