I've watched Alfie's clean up video and I still can't figure out how you would remove the markers behind the hair.

Right, exactly. I can't believe he overlooked this. I so hate the Nuke teaching community. A lot of them are Indians and are almost unintelligible. the English speakers are, well, English or Australian, and have difficult-to-understand accents. And then finally the level of instruction is often very poor. Why would he leave out the tracking info and then refer us to another video that doesn't sufficiently cover the current example????? Arrgh!!!! I hate Nuke and I hate the subpar tutorials available!!!!!!!

Alfie's recommended video does not show us how to get rid of the marker behind the actor's head. Thanks, another worthless Nuke tutorial. Why are Nuke tutorials some of the worst, most worthless trash on UA-cam? Why are all of the advocates and instructors working with Nuke mostly incompetent? Does that say anything about the app?

Wouldn't it be wrong scattering the grains without replacing the mask used for the background? The original character grains are not there anymore if we don't use replace mask, is this something that's been missed or am I missing something?

Is there a reason the additive key has no additive components, but is multiplicative instead? Seems a bit weird to get rid of all colour as well, especially with coloured, more frizzy hair. I mean, sure, multiplicative can work well in cases, but actually doing it additive is a good way as well

Incompetent uh? Maybe they expect you to think for your self after learning the techniques so that you can remove the markers. Not every little bit of information will always be spoon fed so it's good to be able to solve problems without being shown each steps. Now, let's see your demo reel.
