MR3 all the way. MR3 has one of best sound in its cathegory under 150usd, M60 is modern functionality/design but trash mids. Thats like buying 60 dollar sound with another 80 dollar trendy functions on top.
Good thing about any Edifier speakers is playing loud without distortion. But beware - on lowend products (that applies for any brand), mids lack the loud and smooth sound(for that, Edifier R2000DB or R2750DB/R2850DB are starting point). MR4 was doing ok in that regard and for the price, MR3 is told to do even better, but in case of M60, mids are all over the place, not good - there is japanese video MR4 vs MR3 vs M60, there are both frequency curve and sound demo, M60 is clearly inferior.
If you connect a laptop via USB-C and another source via Aux, do I need to change the input manually every time I switch? Or does it automatically do it?
Soundpeats capsule 3 pro plus vs Liberty 4NC vs Liberty 4 pro vs QYC Melbuds pro Which will have best sound quality for iphone user ? Alot of things i got to know about the size of the driver which is bigger in Soundpeats capsule 3 pro plus and some of the reviews show battery of soundpeats is worst . And some showing whatever earbuds it is iphone don’t support any of them like LDEC and Hi res sound . I dont have the budget to buy apple airpods. Which one u recommend bro ? My top priority is Sound quality and battery life . I was using redmi buds 4 they are dead after 18 months. Please recommend.
This has more bass than the MR4s and they're newer with a lot of versatility. Connects to AUX, USB-C and Bluetooth. The only downside I wanted it to have a physical volume wheel rather than a touch interface.
the size diff between a speaker with 3" and 4" woofer is big though... it quickly goes from little sound-"squares" to boxy things that take up all the table space... though I agree, if you can swing for a bigger speaker, you should, but it's just not the same...
@@lavatr8322 I think the MR3 /MR4 is good for mixing, but the M60 is the better choice for listening to music. I tested the MR4 and it hurt my ears because the highs are extremely sharp. I can't recommend any monitoring monitors for enjoying music - absolutely none. I also had a Yamaha HS4 and it's exactly the same. Mixing YES but for Music NO.
It is not a good idea to sneer at a vendor who is adding you to review their products. If they are steadily sending you products toreview it implies trust and confidence in you.
This speaker has one dealbreaker for me, and it's really stupid of Edifier - when connecting to a PC/laptop via USB-C it does not sync the volume control i.e. you still have to set the volume on the speaker and PC independently. GOODBYE.
@@JoeCastellon not for a PC, especially when USB gives the best sound quality. I have a 15 year old Bowers and WIlkins MM-1 speaker system that connects via USB, it has its own internal DAC which bypasses that of the PC, and it takes over the master volume control - so whether I use the PC or the speaker volume buttons - they both control the PC master volume - which is convenient and how it should be. Having to control PC and volume and speaker volume independently is a bloody disaster.

What I would have loved to see, is a direct comparison to the MR3. Is that something you are planning to do?
I need this because I'm currently tossing up between the 2 and I don't know how they compare to each other!
So I can’t connect my earphones/headphones(aux) directly into it while I play FPS?? What do I need to do?
Would you pick the MR3 or M60 if it's mostly for gaming, some music, and youtube videos featuring mostly voices/talking?

Hey Brannon!, These seem to be the Stocking Stuffers for Christmas! Thank you very much! Hope life is treating you well!
How would they be compared to the Marshall Acton III?
These look like more up my ally compared to the studio monitors. Great video Brannon

How long is the speaker cable? I'm looking for some Bluetooth speakers for a TV
Connecting cable between active and passive speaker is 1,8 m.
That's not a woofer, that's a port. The woofer is on the front. What you call the driver. Driver is a more general term, the tweeter is also a driver.

Seems to be a Kanto Ora clone. Wonder how they compare?
Only thing its missing is a sub out. Otherwise i would buy them

I wanna hear these, but I already bought MR4's few months ago.

Do the m60s allow subwoofer connection or should I go mr3?
When not on sale, they're the same price as the HiVi-Swan OS10's at $170. _That's_ the comparison I'd like to see for use as computer speakers.

mr3
Most speakers have e-arc HDMI out.. That would have been super nice.. Instead of USB

That my friend is called a PORT on the back of the speaker, NOT A WOOFER.
