- We go on a mini-adventure around their own country, visiting the cities of Manchester, Newcastle & Glasgow in this travel documentary.
I was invited by IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) to go on 3 weekend adventures around Britain, showcasing the hidden gems that each city has to offer for Brit's looking to have a staycation.
As well as exploring the three cities they also visit the neighbouring countryside of Hadrian's Wall and Loch Lomond.

What a fun showcase of mini vacations in each City. You visited some fantastic bars The Botanical Society Newcastle was a destination in itself, what a gorgeous place. The street art in Glasgow was like something out of an art gallery so much detail and work has gone into that. You guys packed in heaps loved the idea of the train ride to the Indian Restaurant and the food looked excellant. Thanks for another great vid.👍

Doing the north when the 'beast from the east' hit. I have always thought about the rest of Britain - do the Lake district, Scottish highlands, Edinburgh, Yorkshire moors on one big trip. Like you, I travelled the world - except my own country
Relevant given the times. I would love to see more of your local stuff. Orkney to Guernsey - Aran Islands to Great Yarmouth. Someday I will do a walking tour of it all. The history is fascinating to me.
Was planning on doing a UK road trip start of October, but then lockdowns started happening again, will hopefully do it next year

Another excellent videao but I must admit I wont be rushing to go to Manchaster or Newcastle based upon what life you saw. They look dead as dodos ,but were you to repeat that in summer it might be different as the natives are usually very lively. Your video came alive with the Hadrian's Wall and the Glasgow bit.
Not been to Glasgow for some 40 plus years, but the folks are usually lovely and looks more intersting with things to do and the country around the city.
I would love to see you do a good travel adventure through our lovely country/

Brilliant as always! And it couldn't have come at a better time for me... I'm going to Glasgow and Newcastle in May for 2-3 days each and this has definitely given me some great things to do!

well I was gonna travel round Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan and central Asia this summer but after watching this I think I'm definitely gonna cancel it and spunk all my savings on a trip to the north of England in the middle of winter instead! Shame you didn't go to Bolton. I heard it's proper nice in February.

Looked like a fun adventure, so many Star Wars along the trip, but it felt a tad too heavy on the pubs and bar experiences side. Still fun but was hoping to see a bit more of what experiences you will get to do in the city. Enjoyed watching it anyway 😀👍🏻

Yeah we were doing “weekend adventures” during the middle of the week, so all the cities were dead

Great video! It was really nice to get an idea for all these places close to home. I’m from the North east although I live outside the UK, so it’s also good to get a taste of Home. Btw, my grandma and her family are also from Durham and I know the area, it’s weird to hear you’re from the same place haha
