@@2mooreBibleRebinding thank you, I always removed it and then glued on a card stock instead. Looking for way to avoid that. Did a test piece after sanding with coarse sand paper it worked like a charm. Thank you :)

Do you make any modifications to the vinyl end sheets before gluing the tabs to them? I feel like glue won’t stick to vinyl…
You have to score it with a scratch awl or corse sandpaper.... that is putting groves in the "slick" part so the glue will be able to stick
