    The secrete for the tastiest fruits and vegetables is that you find them from street vendors , including the ranks. Mangoes, peaches, sweet potatoes etc are so delicious 🤤

    Best rule of driving in ZA is to adopt Ogmios Zen driving style(UA-camr). Be peacefully mindful of your surrounding, giving yourself extra time to go from A-B, do not let the behaviour of the taxi driver negatively influence your driving. Have a reliable car insurance.
    Importantly avoid driving behind a taxi at a short distance, they can any moment.

    OMG. Both my sons was on the Chess team during their time in school. I have found they are so thoughtful and strategic with their movement. I've told them to operate like pawns on this side of the earth. Move, achieve and prosper quietly. You can't gain power until you get to the end of the board. And rest assured you'll need help getting there. So don't show out.

    This is just awesome because when i first arrived in North America in the early 2000s i never thought that one day i will see my African American brothers and sisters moving to Africa beccause of how our continent is portrayed over there. I am also pleased by the fact that we are beginning to see many of you coming to Southern Africa . For a few years i have been jealous of West Africa because it seemed to be the destination of choice for many. Your review was very nice otherwise there are many problems in our land but i understand the impact of positive reviews about our country.Welcome home guys.

    Keep safe distance from taxi driver's, they always in a huge rush i guess cos they need to get their passengers to work on time. Bosses not very understanding and loadshedding makes things even more chaotic. Dont get into arguments with them either just let them pass. The scooters are either delivering food or peoples meds or groceries. If its checkers 60/60 they must hurry up before the ice cream melts. 😂They harmless though.
    Im just happy that these driver's they earning a honest living. You got to keep phoning customs every day 😢

      No one said isiZulu is an official language you know that comes from your mind... you can go anywhere in the world you will always find a community, tribe, culture, language that is more dominant than the others it doesn't imply others are less. Truth is isiZulu is spoken by a larger number and once you grasp it, it's easy to get by in most places, if I were to advise a person I'd tell them to pick at least one Nguni language and one Sotho, Tswana, Pedi. This is not a competition it's just common sense, I am a Zulu myself in KZN but my intention is for my kids to know at least another language so that communication will be easier for them no matter where they are

      It might be because of the the area they are in. Where I stay we have Sepedi, Tsonga and Ndebele speaking people however at my school we did sepedi as a home language because Bapedi are dominating in the area. My little sister went to a private school and her home language was English because the people in the area the near the school are mostly white people

    • @chiefk587
      @chiefk587 9 місяців тому

      Stop your tribalism, they will eventually learn other languages but remember that Zulu is understood by more than half of all South africans because it's mutually intelligable with Xhosa,Swati and Ndebele.

    With all the challenges these taxis presents on our road, the establishment is just as rocky as their road manners.
    In the late 50s, 60s and 70s, after people of colour were dumped in desolate areas away from cities, a need for transportation was birth. The untrusting gov of the day refused to give our parents a "carrier permit" to carry more than a family.
    Those who owned large American automobiles, like Impala, Monaco and Valiant, were duly presented with a business opportunity to create a lift (payable)service, and cars carried plenty.
    Panel vans were converted to mini buses, while registering these vehicles as rental buses, to circumvent permit prohibitions.
    When the Jspanese marques hut the market everything changed. Mary Decker (Isuzu), Zola Budd (Toyota Hi-ace) and Nissan e-20 became so popular that some of our brothers had them on their walls.
    This industry remained unregulated until the late 70s. While the associations are now throughout the country, this industry remains the largest untaxed business on the planet.

    Renting so expensive in Sandton why not rent a house in Midrand or Rosebank? Sandton is an expensive area to rent. That Sandton high rise with so much open space in the balcony scary heights to be leaning on. Having kids I definitely not renting that scary heights balcony. U guys should go to Soweto try Tribe meat in their local restaurant and Soweto street food. The nice expensive areas is just the same as the US. Show us something we might say that's new more. Soweto, the shanty towns, the malls in Soweto and progress in Soweto from apartheid to now. U guys paying $3500 for that unit in Sandton wow u guys must be the middle class family doing well financially. Show us the university in down town Jozi, the college, bramfontein, Hillbrow slums, Calton center, small Street the dirty Johannesburg neighborhoods in Hillbrow. Drive to the villages show us the farmers, lands and their livestock.
