One thing people should understand, is that in Africa we build over time. No one is going to judge you for coming and not "blowing up". Europeans, and other people seem to come to Africa and settle in very quickly.
So come, settle in first and take your time to find what you want to do. There's no hurry. Just come and decompress first.

I've "American Citizen" been in Cameroon since 2017. I really like it here, so do the Chinese, India, Russian, and many others. But it is not always easy to live in a 3rd world Country. Yet it is rewarding, healthlier, if one farms, as mist of Africa is Sustainable Farming, growing most of your own food. 😊 With that said I'm retired, so I have Sustainable income also and 2 small but productive farms, and a Cameroonian wife who was raised farming in her village. Sure she is 20 years younger, but together we manage to live simple stress free lives here. Unlike America where I worked my bottom off just to squeak by! Americans think we're crazy 🤪 just look at what is happening now! Turmoil! We will sleep tight at nights!

I agree with you ladies 100%. The challenge for many is finances. I moved my family to Rwanda in Aug.2022 because of all that you all have been talking about. We ended up moving back to the states in June of 2023 because our financial situation didn't allow us to stay in Rwanda permanently. I am literally dying to move back, but I am trying to find a way to sustain our family while there. I went to Joburg in March, and will be there again in November to see if that is where we want to be, when we can find sustainable income.........With that being said, it's the money for many.

We went to Kenya and Rwanda in April. Decided on Kenya as our place to repatriate to. Bought land in Kenya. Realtor is helping us with infrastructure development and will be helping build our Airbnb business on our land. In just a few months he’s had the road out in. Next it will be getting architectural plans and permits. Then we will start to build. Plan to build 3 cottages plus our house on the land. One cottage is projected to generate over $30k a year and 3 of them will generate almost $100k! It won’t take long to build the cottages. Our plan is to move in the next 36 to 69 months. Once there we will also build a chicken farm maybe even before we move. Just got to plan and execute.

I strongly agree that all people should travel this world and gain enlightenment and appreciate the human kind that God created. USA is beautiful and like all places, it has downside and bad parts because bad people exist everywhere. Africa the continent is big and beautiful with many different countries and cultures and it too have bad places and bad people and the same for my beautiful South America. Some time ago I posted a UA-cam video entitled "The Beauty of Intermarriage". At the time I saw it as a quite viable bridge between our dispersed African communities. It appears to be much easier for men than women from America to make this leap which has many inherent advantages when it comes to U.S. disporans living in Africa. The phenomenon of African diaspora members returning to the continent and forming unions with continental Africans presents a rich banquet of opportunities and advantages across various spheres of life. These unions, often seen as bridges between cultures, carry profound implications for social, political, economic, cultural, educational, and industrial development.
Socially, intermarriage fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of diverse African cultures, promoting unity and a sense of pan-African identity. It helps in breaking down stereotypes and prejudices, encouraging a more inclusive society where diverse backgrounds are celebrated. Such marriages often become living examples of cultural integration, showcasing the beauty of diversity and the strength it brings to communities.

I have 11 years until I retire however, I work 100% remotely. I have my youngest child starting High school this year. I'm not running from the US I will still keep my home and my vehicles here but, I want a getaway. We shall see.

I live in America and follow a good bit of media coming from RSA, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Tanzania etc. I see how westernised South Africa looks to be now and it's weird. I know a lot of Americans and Brits that have moved there and told me about it from a boots on the ground perspective, and some love it! Others are looking at other countries to move to. No offense, but a small few of those people said to me that it seems like South Africa is having an identity crisis, and wants to copy America or the UK.

what a funny comment coming from someone who clearly doesn’t know themselves or their country and continent. South Africa was colonised. Also The Media in Africa (not just South Africa) plays a significant role in perpetuating Western cultural values, contributing to the adoption of westernised behaviours in Africa duh 😕
you people need to stop associating Africa with poverty, do you know that those countries you deem as the true African experience are the way they are because of exploitation(look at DR Congo), corruption, bad governance, economic challenges and so on 😕? Most of you especially black Americans don’t even know how it feels to lack access to a basic need(your clean water, education, healthcare and so on) or to not have freedom or speech or freedom of sexuality 😢it’s sad. As a black American male the 1st time I visited South Africa I was blown away. Didn't want to come back to the states. Now I try to go every year for my mental stability. America is very toxic mass shootings, sadism, racism running rampant, unhealthy food. It's a great place to make money outside of that!

I feel like this is a life and death situation and I am focusing now on preparing a way for my children's children. I have a part-time remote job and will be starting businesses there as soon as I hit the ground. However, I have noticed a lot of places like Nairobi are trying too hard to build up cities mimicking America with high-rise apartments, etc. I don't want another America but a better Africa.

I appreciate the focus of the Motherland. Yet, your NOT, focusing, on the Motherland. 1, your American, in Africa(Tanzania). They do not acknowledge the African American experience. 2, you do not need to place a negative finger on the African American experience.
By country, the crime rate, in Tanzania is #35. South Africa is #3. The States, 56. More than 20% of women aged 15-49 have experienced physical violence in the last year, and 58% of women believe a husband is justified in beating his wife under certain circumstances.
The legal age for marriage at 15 for girls and 18 for boys.
There were reports police officers, prison guards, and soldiers abused, threatened, mistreated civilians, suspected criminals, and prisoners. These abuses often involved beatings.
38% of girls and women have experienced some form of violence by a partner in the past year, and a third of those who experienced the violence never sought help, 11 per cent told someone but never sought help, and only 54 per cent sought help related to the experienced violence.
There is a huge gender divide in the local Maasai culture, which traditionally sees women taking on all childcare and domestic duties, while men act as the breadwinners, primary decision-makers, financial controllers - and sometimes the perpetrators of violence against women.
One in every five women in Tanzania will experience sexual violence in her lifetime.
    The list, can, go on...
In a previous video, you stated to NOT, come, to work. Come, to be of service.
From what the two of your push, your of, no 'help.'
Just like the colonizers, documented, as of 1619, your purpose, is to exploit, for personal gain.
THAT, is not what is needed, for Africans, nor, Tanzanians.

Allowing African children to travel freely across the continent would be a powerful catalyst for growth and unity, not just for the future generation, but also for the heart of Africa's economy-its small and medium businesses. As these young minds journey across borders, they bring with them curiosity, creativity, and a deep sense of cultural pride. This movement would ignite new opportunities for businesses to thrive, as they become the backbone of a continent united by shared experiences and dreams. Imagine a future where children, inspired by the diverse landscapes and vibrant cultures of Africa, grow up to become entrepreneurs who weave their knowledge and connections into a tapestry of prosperity. This freedom to explore and connect would not only enrich the lives of the children but also empower the businesses that support their communities, creating a ripple effect of growth, innovation, and hope across the entire continent.🇿🇦🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
