- 3 Most Useful glitches in fallout 4 are the food swap glitch, build supplies duplication , and the build size limit glitch/tip. i felt this was a good little video to make with the revamp of the fallout 4 game coming out this year. these are the best bc you don't need any mods and you don't have to purchase any DLC either.

for the infinite resources u have to press scrap and than store but hold the store button. dont let go of it or it will not work. u only have to let go of scrap button.

@@MrWhitegold13 it’s been working for me. Did u let go of the scrap button after u held the store button? And make sure to never let go of store and press the accept twice. So long as u let go of scrap, held the store and press accept twice it should work. It can’t be exactly the same time u press buttons u need to press store after about half or a quarter after u press scrap.
@@MrWhitegold13 it does work. You have hit scrap first then store but almost press both buttons at the same time. And keep your finger on store with both menus up hit "ok" "ok" and done. On PS it's Square+ (hold)circle, then x,x if that helps. Kinda roll your thumb from square to circle

One glitch I don’t feel dirty using was something that happened organically. The companion can be commanded to pick up stuff, even if it exceeds their carry weight. It took me a little bit to figure out what was happening, but once I did, I knew it was wrong. Still, i decided I’d allow myself to use it, even though I don’t like using glitches. I rationalized that I was just saving trips. I would’ve come back anyway.
I watched this video, to see if I might learn any new tricks that don’t feel dirty. I already know the build limit trick, though it should’ve been met with a word of caution. The limit is there for game stability reasons. If you grow your settlement too large, you’ll get some lag, and later, crashes.
You want to be careful with the build limit glitch, especially if it's an inhabited settlement. If you do it too much, it starts to lead to an increase in pathfinding issues when the settlement is loaded.
I've also had issues with duplicated components not being recognized in build mode from duplicating too many times from too small a starting amount.

Taking the build bar down from yellow or red once doesn't seem to cause problems. Twice, sometimes but you're probably safe. After three things can start getting weird. Especially in larger settlements that cover different grids like Abernathy.
lol dup to much stimps and ammo and later in the game you'll find dead boddies with huge amounts of those.
An argument could be made that the glitch isn't working then....
At some point it's been updated that the Scrap Button does not do anything on press, only on release. So, Scrap and then as you release hop over to store button and hold the store button until you've accepted both menus. If you get the scrap menu only you didn't press store fast enough, if you only get the store menu then you pressed it too fast.
I also really like the SPECIAL Book glitch for free stats.

Whenever I would glitch resources, I would use manufacturing to create heavy combat armor and gatling lasers for my settlers. If I wanted to increase my settlement build limit, I would make a vacuum hopper that wasn't connected to anything and I would dump several gatling lasers in it and scrap em with the build menu as they came out. Believe it or not, had to do this at red rocket quite frequently.
Funny that popped up in my feed today as I was just pondering doing a gunslinger run. Might just have to try these out!
Fun story: If you line up Dark Side of the Moon with your third scrap and store, it works out perfectly.

Fourth tip is pretty funny. Such a silly and simple work around
The wall climb glitch where you use junk to climb up any flat vertical surface is amazing too. You can zip up a 20 story building in seconds to get to the roofs you normally would need a jetpack to reach.
The first glitch shown works on all work benches, and it can be the item above or below the item you can craft, very handy for weapon and armour mods
I need some help with the steak glitch…I only managed to do it once. 😢
All other attempts result in either highlighting the steak without the cook prompt or scrolling all the way up to the top of the recipe.

Also not sure if this was mentioned but when you first drop the duplicated stack when it drops as 2 if you pick them back up and redrop them it will drop as a single stack

i did not know the second half of the scrap gltich, i would just drop a bunch and dupe all individually very helpful
You can duplicate items by putting them on a conveyor and having dogmeat pick it up before it enters the storage, takes some work to get the timing right but it works in the “I’m SPECIAL” book which resets earning more stats!

the 1st one works on any crafting table as long as you can craft something you can make the thing above or below it doing the same thing on a controller press right on d-pad then up or down (note: you don't need the perks to do it either, BUT if you have any junk needed it will use it to make it. it works on weapons/armor mods, chems, nuka cola mixes, food, power armor mods, so pretty much anything you can make at crafting workbench, but if you can make them already it doesn't do it for free since you can just make it anyway
Just a warning to anyone doing the settlement build limit glitch, don't do it too much especially on console it can cause the game to crash, i did it a shit ton on my ps4 and now a couple settlements are unvistable. But i mean no different from how fo4 usually runs on that airplane sounding console seeing how it crashed about every 5 seconds

For the duplication glitch, I love to use gold because between you and your companion you can easily carry 1500 items of it and that's basically unlimited caps.
Odd glitch: The Red Rocket just outside of Sanctuary and the entire cell next to it is it starts in a glitchy state. If you leave the Red Rocket alone, and the cave under the Red Rocket the cell right next to it stays glitchy and certain things refresh every time you re-enter the cell after it unloads. This includes the cart of junk just outside of the Red Rocket cave (easy source of oil and tools), the House next to the Red Rocket (contains a safe, some food, nuke cola Quantum, lockpick, and a baseball bat, and gourds in the back yard), a bunch of wild muteberry bushes, and up between the water tower and Abanathy Farm there is a loot chest in a shallow grave that refreshes.
If you go down to the Dinner and walk back, the cell will refresh and you can loot the House, the cart and the chest again. Do this a bunch of times and go visit Vault 81 and sell all those tools.
I'm not sure if its the cave or the Red Rocket that fixes the glitch, but either of them could do it.

Im convinced the food/workbench glitch has been patch... no amount of timing will get it to highlight anything. Either its exactly frame perfect or it simply doesnt work on the xbox series of consoles.
As far as I know it hasn't been patched, but I haven't played it in awhile. I don't see them updating it tho
It hasn't been patched just do it slower. I was thinking the same thing until I started doing it slower and it worked

I have tried the duplicate building materials one over and over, not just from your video but for about a year now with other videos and I still can't make it work. I know it's not me cause I do hundreds of dupe glitches in gta every day for years now and have always used my ps3 or ps4. Why do I have a problem with this simple shit?!?!?! I'm so damn irritated. Only think I really can say is it's all about the timing. But once you get it down its quick and easy. There are a few comments on here that try to give more detail on how to do it exactly. So please look thru what others have commented . I hope it helps
all the dupe glitch dont work on keyboard and mouse though, its only when you use a controller.

Any way how to fix the dup? I have success having both scrap and store pop up at the same time but the scrap option doesn’t stay on my screen. It immediately goes away after a millisecond

I don’t think the duplicating building materials works I get it when they both over lap each other but then the one underneath the option to scrap disappears and I can only store the materials
There is a few comments on here that will help you with that. It's either the scrap button or the store button you gotta continue to hold the whole time

I haven't tried the settlement build limit glitch, but I can confirm that the others all still work even now in 2023
I legit used a single mongrel meat to make over 30 pieces of cooked mutant hound meat, which I now intend to rely on for both health and getting rid of rads (at least up until I max out the Medic perk)
EDIT: Side note, you can also use mongrel meat to make another meal that cures chem addiction, it's right below Mutt Chops so it should work

I believe people stumble onto them randomly everytime. Unless there is someone out there that just try's differnt button combinations until it does something lol
Need help ... i looted every Fusion core location and i only have 17 fusion cores left is there a glitch where i can duplicate fusion cores?
I know there is a glitch to duplicate ammo using the manufacturing add-ons. Not sure if it works with fusion cores. But you can do the food/or money glitches and find venders that sell them.

@@xxplayerofgamingxx9112 not positive . Just look up ammo duplication or try looking up fusion core duplication. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to find one. Ive always just used money glitches to buy everything like that

Either I'm not doing it right or it doesn't work anymore on the new gen consoles...the meat glitch doesn't want to work. Playing on series X.
Update: I was just trying to do it to fast. Lol it works fine.

That I'm not sure of , I play on my laptop now but I use a controller. Maybe the arrow keys work the same as a dpad on a controller. I'd say look at your controls in the setting and see if it shows it at all.

Can you use any kind of meat?
You can do it with any recipe, in the sense that you can make the one directly above or below, as long as it's not highlighted. However, if that recipe partly uses the same kind of ingredients, you still lose the ingredient (eg. I had 1 Yao Guai meat but no tato and carrot, so I could make Yao Gai Ribs but not Yao Guai Roast, but with this glitch I was still able to make Yao Guai Roast but lost the meat). But as in this example, with Molerat meat you can make either Mirelurk Queen Steak or Mutant Hound Chops infinitely.
i was hoping for new 1ns not these that have been here since the release of the game
If only they would add something new to it. I found it to be a good idea to make this video with them releasing an anniversary edition or what ever they are doing.
Damn, the first glitch is the one I used to exploit. But it's been patched now.
All of these glitches still work in the game
I think it may depend on the platform and version of the game you are using. I'm used a PS4, and many of the duplication glitches didn't work. Possibly also something to do with the controller. But the Dogmeat duplication glitch works fine. If you do it with resources you only get 1 extra. But if you do it with shipments you get a second full shipment. Great for cutting down the grind when you want to start building settlements.

first one still works on xbox and steam also works on chems/armor/weapons rafting menus
yes I maybe novice but if you want to play different why not use the console commands instead of glitches
My personal preference, I like to keep the game as vanilla as possible. Plus when it comes to achievements and things like that console commands disable them. I'm even playing the game without dlc currently just to play it like it was in the beginning before the dlc dropped. Its definently more buggy but it's fun.
Console command use willy nilly can screw up your game. I only use it if a quest glitches and won't complete.

The best tip is to not play ON a console. You want to play on a PC so you can USE the console.
Glitches are only for console player's (PlayStation/Xbox)
For PC gamers no need for glitches as all can be done by console commands I even use a game trainer that allows me to build unlimited amounts permanently ... Before anyone talks about cheating Shut up if you use glitches it's Still cheating ..So might as well use console commands instead as much better
Yes but the glitches are nice if you care about getting achievements. Bc you can play the PC version of the game on windows with the Xbox app and earn the achievements. But like always to each there own. There's no right or wrong way to play a game as long as you are enjoying it.
