    Excellent lessons, especially on setting up homeometry. But I don't want to use the nexus governor, the Castle 120 governor is fine for me. I turned off the nexus governor, set up channel 6 to shelves 30, 70, 100 (for Castle). The question is, will the system fly normally, or does it necessarily need to know the speed?

    Thank you so much for your detailed videos. I had a great time setting up my Nexus and a very succesfull maiden ( 6 flights already) with no issues.. Soo looking forward to the next video regarding PID's and learning new things. I still need to get my Autorotation setup for my Kraken 580 using your setup, but will get there.. 10% throttle seems a little low for me but that might just be because I am not a fan of auto's hahahaha..

    I use a drone flightcontroler and stacked ESC, I understood that I should flash the esc with bluejay, but, a tutorial on how to configure rotorflight to get the rpm of the main and tail brushless motor would be welcome :) The menu doesnt show up if no serial port is configured, but I dont kown how the rpm is read from the esc, I dont think there is any tx rx for it because there is no pad on the board ( FC Goku HEX GN 405 Nano + Flywoo - GOKU BS13A 2-4S ESC V2)

    Thanks for these videos! Would be great to see an example of a "Normal" throttle mode, like you get on OMP hobby M2 with omp protocol rx; looking at docs, do you create a profile with passthrough governor?

    Following up on an earlier question, I am using the Hobbywing Platinum V4 and it comes pre-configured in 'Elf Governor ' mode. Do I need to change the default ESC configuration in any way, or does Rotorflight effectively bypass what the ESC would normally do? Fantastic videos as always! 👍

      You want the ESC in fixed wing mode.

    Again, great tutorial. I’m still not able to arm after watching this several times. Using a SAB Goblin 280 (havoc) 60A ESC. This ESC has no rpm or telemetry as far as I can tell. Only the ESC signal wire plugged into the ESC spot on the Nexus. I can get the motor to spool up under Motor override. However it will not spool up until 0% throttle pwm value is set to 1350. I’m baffled, I cannot for the life of me get the motor to spool up even after setting up my TX16s like yours (video 2). Is the RPM and telemetry wire required for this to work? Also dumbfounded why the motor won’t spool up at 1033. I have to move the slider half way for it to jump on when set to 1033. I’ll rewatch the tutorials and go at it again. I’m sure I’m missing something. Thanks again for the great support you offer to the hobby.

    One question....if you are going to configure the governor in rotorflight (mode 1), you must deactivate all the ESC governor options, correct? Including soft start? Thank you in advance

    Can you use a castle creation esc with nexus. What is the setting for that.

    Would the governor feature work with a nitro heli. Would the magnet pickup from what I assume is a hall effect sensor be a similar square wave as a standard ESC rpm output ?
