Vienna is known for fascinating palaces, the world's best museums, the U-Bahn, and spectacular Baroque architecture. It's also home to one of Europe's largest Ferris wheels, it's considered the birthplace of classical music, and it's home to countless wine taverns that are famous for their comfortable atmosphere.
I don't understand how people can jump from one country to another so quickly without getting a taste of the country. I hear people say I went to 25 countries in 25 days. How can anyone really experience a European city if you're only there for one day?
I have lived in Toronto for 32 years, also visited Montreal several times and no I don’t agree with what you said. Vienna though… it reminds me a bit of Paris…beautiful!
Totally useless review from somebody who was not prepared to visit Vienna, as there 1000's of things to do and visit and not just walk down the same shopping street over and over again. But I am talking culture here, something unknown in North America
Not true at all, these videos always show only few tourist places, most of Vienna is not like that and even in center there are still highways, noise and smog from cars. Tourist videos always show you nice places, but getting from nice place A to nice place B means going thru many very ugly places, crossing thru highways, going thru disgusting underpasses.....I am not saying don't visit Vienna, because people don't believe me that city is not what they expect, so I vice versa recommend visit it and then visit Prague and compare it, you will see the difference.
@@Pidalin this guy never said that all of Vienna was like that he just said he likes the areas that are walkable. even in the video, OP shows the road with cars driving like any other country
@@Pidalin Vienna rarely has smog TBH. Usually there is a light wind blowing which brings in lots of fresh air and also helps to cool down the city in summer times a bit. Sure, it still can get hot in summer, but I've been to other cities that were way worse IMO
@elizabethcolorsart7728 Dear Elizabeth, if you mean the large (pedestrian) street leading from the center of town at St. Stephen's Cathedral to the Ringstrasse, where the opera is, it's called "KAERNTNER STRASSE". (Literally "Carinthia Street). Best regards!
Another good video, we are doing the same trip as you, Warsaw, Prague, Vienna & Budapest in October. Did you need to provide proof of Vax or negative test when using the trains? Any info is greatly appreciated. We aren’t Vaxed. 😊
During July 2022 I didn’t have to do any of that or provide documents. In Vienna they did ask me to mask up on public transportation but that’s about it.
Your walking tour was great. Especially appreciated the commentary telling us where you were. Have been to Vienna many times and especially love the museums. Leaving in two days for another visit there. Y
Millions of people from all over the world walk Times Square daily making difficult to the city to keep it clean… Vienna doesn’t have the many tourist in a day. Js.
Great video, thanks for sharing! I will be visiting Vienna in four weeks. I m from Vancouver, to me, Vancouver is best place to live 😉. Europe is great but only to visiting 😃

I've been to Vienna last year and I was pretty shocked by all those ugly 80s and 90s structures around historical sights, cracked and patched asphalt sidewalks instead of cobblestones, fences and other barriers and constructions everywhere....Vienna is very different city than people imagine, I am not saying don't visit it, but don't expect experience like in Prague or Krakow in Vienna. It's sad that city still looks like in 90s, while in our former communist countries you see masive difference every few years. Just look at reviews of main bus station in Vienna, people say that it's like somewhere in Balkan, but Balkan is actually better. 🙂

Also the birthplace of Psychoanalysis (Freud)

They are not seeing anything in one day. Those people are annoying as they crap on about what they have seen, but have really enjoyed nothing.
Because life is too short to visit every country. Better to have a sample than to have none at all, duh
@@darith770TOTALLY DISAGREE!
It's a city worth visiting...a city very worth living in...
Very beautiful city center...very interesting...

I would have appreciated more about each area and a steady camera. Now know about the Bristol and the main shopping center nothing about the history
Waaaw. Vienna is captivating. I wish. Thank u
Love the room. I’d do it.
Wonderful architecture! Love the large walkable areas with no cars. How were the restaurant prices?

Vienna got some pretty women
City looks too commercialized for my taste. One big out door mall which messes up all the charm that it once had.
You're going around in circles, how boring. You're in Vienna and in other cities in your head.
no comment
That room seems extremely overpriced at 600...probably worth 200-250...
Thanks!
WOW thanks Laura for the Super Thanks!
I like Vienna, Austria, a lot better than Prague
Prague is a beautiful city.

I have been to Vienna and I didn't think it was the best city in Europe. It was fine but not my favorite.
Paris is located in Ile de France, not Burgundy. 💐💐
I think when I will visit Vienna and Munich with my art book, the cities would say: "What took you so long ?"
Beautiful City. Again, I was just there a few weeks ago!
Travel is boring without wife 😴
Nice walk video tour around beautiful city sunny day Vienna Austria 👍 ☀️ 🇦🇹
