Great video mate, you explain the tuning especially on the low speed needle and idle very well. Also I’m a big fan of fx engines too, I’ve got a k301 in my mp9 buggy and it’s the best running and easiest to tune engine I’ve ever owned. Keen to get a fx 5 port for my truggy in the future too 👌
Fantastic video. I think I have my tune pretty good on my OS B2103, but it likes to drink a little too much fuel overall. I'm hesitant to lean it up, but in a more controlled table-top environment like this, I may try to optimize it. I live in the Phoenix area, and it is HOT! Running 30% nitro, I have found that a P5 (colder) plug seems to help idle and overall motor consistency vs. the stock P3. However, this probably attributed to the richer running as well. I really like the "hose technique" you're doing. Where did you run it? Does it just run along the floor to a door then to the outside? How long is the hose, and does it affect back-pressure or the tune when taken off?
