    So this is what I'm gonna try .... low wheel rates .... with stiffer bump stops and more range .... and mid roll bars .... then one click at time dail them down .... who knows 🤷‍♂️ I might find something 🤔

    very nice job BUT half the grid has "tweaked" the game for perfect grip. ACC is dead due to exploitation and ease of cheating.

    • @SimracingArnout
      @SimracingArnout  Місяць тому +4

      I hear you. Dont take this video as in acc end all be all but more as a universal understanding. I use acc as an example. Btw its not dead to me though. There a still many aspects of the game that work really well. Its easy to focus on the defects of a game. Just because some populair infuencers made these points about cheating and the game being dead doesnt make that a reality. At least not for me

    My god what a load of crap. I use default setup, then adjust my tire pressure for each tire and I seem to be competitive. There is no better setup than knowing how to race and track knowledge. Best advice you will ever get is to spend the hours and practice practice and then practice some more.

    • @KLA53N
      @KLA53N Місяць тому +1

      You "seem" to be competitive until your racing again the same people all the time and they're faster. Start applying some of arnouts guidelines and watch your lap times drop and you start keeping up with the faster guys.
      I race the same guys twice a week and a few of them used to be so much faster. I've applied arnouts guideline e and I now keep up with them if not beat them and have a much faster pace.

      @ what sim game are you on? And what platform?

    • @petergaja1819
      @petergaja1819 Місяць тому +1

      @ don’t know if you ever watched the V8 supercar e-series with the real race drivers during covid but the drivers used default settings and their lap times were very competitive. What was interesting is that the drivers who had been on the sim longer had the quicker lap times. The setups do have a place in sim racing because a person can tune the setup to suit their driving style. I think it’s much closer racing in default mode rather than people paying for and subscribing to setup apps. But I do enjoy beating people who have payed for setups.

      @@petergaja1819 I'm on xbox series x.
      Never paid for any setup. Just applied the things I've learned from arnouts channel and it helped me so much understand what to change to make my setup better.
      Never saw the esport of the v8s sorry but I'm sure if they changed setups they'd get faster.
