@Factual 1 I used to be down with customs but not this kind of custom. Turning shoes into shoes that were previously made. If you want the shoe then buy that shoe. It’s not too much cheaper buying a custom. The work into that ain’t free. Unless the shoe was not made in that persons size
I actually love the glaze version. It’s what separates it from the rest of the breds out there and stands out more. Thanks for showing a work around though, much appreciated.

Interesting because I have a pair of patent forces that aged to where the patent leather literally became normal leather. No gloss. No shine on them. Still a minty shoe but no shine. They wear just fine

You said a key piece that I hope people don’t gloss over… it’s still patent leather and will wear like a patent leather. You just may not have the creases AS NOTICEABLE like the shiny patent. Considering how much the regular leather breds going for, it might actually make sense to get a patent leather and do this if you want that look, end result looks amazing

I’m a size 10.5 and was lucky enough to hit on SNKRS. But as a teacher I get shoes to pretty much sell them so I have extra cash for my classroom essentials. I would love love loveeeeeee a matte finish in these in a 10.5, they look utterly beautiful. Job well done!

This is purely cosmetic the finisher will not change the type of leather it’s a patent leather shoe under the finish
