If I was like RetroSnickers, I would grab the Banned 1’s. Use the leather quality to paint over them. Take the Midsoles out and grab the midsoles of the Shattered Backboard lows and put those on the Banned 1’s. But I can’t cuz I don’t got bars at that

is jacquard paint the only type of paint that works in an airbrush that can paint leather? i’ve tried using angelus paint and for some reason it wont even shoot out the airbrush.
I like the gloss for some reason. Its different. But the only thing i dont like on them is how they didnt make the outsole black or orange. Just how you did it.. I honestly like the vanilla mid sole though. Great job on the custom vick.
Looks dope. About to try this on my second pair. Sucks that you have to use the sole shields on the painted bottoms though. I wonder how these would look with the mid panel painted white to emulate the 1.0. Now to buy an spraygun, paint, acetone, patience.
I wanna see someone take a the sole off the SBB low and put it on this shoe and matte it out, then you wouldn’t need to worry about a painted sole wearing out

I think it’s fair to mention that Sneakerhead in the bay and later Hes Kicks did the same treatment on the upper. Vick killed it on the outsole.
