Great video son !!! Your editing is amazing!!!! Love Mom❤
Thank you, Mom! You made it possible ❤️🫂
These came out amazing 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks, man! Means a lot coming from someone who actually does restoration 👊🏽😎
It looks the same, but without the tumbleness 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ it could just be me
You're correct.....The tumbled effect was heavily decreased, so it has more of a natural looking texture.
That is clean big ups for havings the balls to have a go at this❤
Thanks, man! It was definitely fun working on it 😎
Better than original, i for sure thought you were gonna botch them, nice work.
I'm not going to lie, I thought it was over with!!! But, I'm happy with how they turned out. I appreciate the feedback 👊🏽😎
Disrespectful!!
😄
There's should be a shoe's Rights so that this man will go to jail😂😂😂😂hahahha
Bro, you killed it! I don't like tumbled leather either, this looks so much better
Thanks, man!
I was hoping the difference would be apparent on camera because you can definitely see the difference in person. Thanks again 👊🏽😎
I like my pair as is. I think they look sweet, the swap to the leather was enough for me.
Nothing wrong with that 🔥🔥🔥
I couldn't do mine like that., But this was awesome, great work !
Thanks, man! I enjoyed the process and experience 👊🏽😎
First off great video 👍🏾 How long should I wait after I applied the alcohol, before sanding the leather ? 🙏🏾
Thanks, Carl!
I waited maybe 10-20 minutes. Once the shoe starts to look washed out to you, then that's when you can start sanding.
They look good, thanks for the switch on the 12s N gave me the 13s 👍🏽
Absolutely, my guy!
Your pair is featured in my legit check video. Enjoy your kicks, bro 🤝🏾
Yo my bad for asking this question on this video but i just wanna make sure, on my pair of bred reimagined, on the back of the insole being the white part which has the trade mark and MS and the size, my left pair has MS 105 G and the other has MS 105 P, is that normal or nah? i never had a pair of 4s so i can’t really tell i only got Jordans with the insole glued like a pair of 13s
No worries, man.
It's common for some pairs to have mismatched information on the soles. I've seen it on other sneakers besides these.
@@retrospectivedave9018one line is hardly visible on the other, and then one line isnt visible idk whats it called its usually where the sizing is backwards on the footbed, thats normal too?
That's Cool Bro, nice job, as for me I wouldn't wanna try to attempt to do something like that to mine I'll probably mess them up I'll just leave it as is, cool vid😎
I appreciate you, bro!
It was a bit nerve wrecking at 1st, but it was a cool experience nonetheless. Thanks again 👊🏽😎
So in other words, just leave em be.
I would strongly advise you to leave them be
Lmao, when the video ended that's pretty much the first thing I said go myself
BRO THEY CAME OUT SICK!!
I WOULD LOVE TO DO MY PAIR THE SAME
Thanks, bro!
It's pretty simple to do. Just take your time with it! If you end up doing it, send me a pic of the results on IG 👊🏽😎
@retrospectivedave9018
will do my brother, and thank you for the advice!
Just copped them today and def keeping them exclusive
🔥🔥🔥
id buy two pairs of the breds and motor sport alternates and make a washed version of both pairs.
🔥🔥🔥
I hope we get a retro of the MS Alternate
Hard disagree on the tumble making shoes look cheap; I feel the opposite way, but to each their own.
Either way, this was a nice job.
I should've specified in the video, but tumbled leather doesn't always make a shoe look cheap. I think when it's overly done, that's when I'm not a fan.
Appreciate the feedback, Joose 👊🏽😎
Your video editing is dope, do you edit them yourself?
Thank you!
I do all of the editing. It's my favorite part of the process 👊🏽😎
@@retrospectivedave9018 dope, what editing software do you use? Im learning
NICE!!
Welcome to the world of editing!
I use Premiere Pro...It's subscription based
Davinci is a great one too....Not subscription based (at least it wasn't when I 1st started).
The guy had the world going krazy saying he put acetone on it but really they was just reps
It looks great though but I wouldn’t do my pair like that.
Thanks, man!
It's definitely a preference for sure 👊🏽😎
There's should be a shoe's Rights so that this man will go to jail😂😂😂😂hahahha
😂🤣
Didn't ruin them for sure!
I appreciate it, Brett!
I definitely went into it not knowing what the outcome would be, though 😅
Thanks again 👊🏽😎
it looks like the same just without the tumble texture.....
Cool guy 🎩
👊🏽😎
Now thats what i call, reimagined 🫡
Can you restore a dead pair?
It's not my area of expertise
Can I buy this off you if it’s a size 9-9.5?
The shoe in the video is a size 12 👊🏽😎
@@retrospectivedave9018 sheesh they good bro good job
I give props on being different, I’ll pass though. The difference can make the shoe look somewhat fake. I like looking fresh not questionably fake.
I'll gLAdly take the props for being different 👊🏽😎
Dave whats good brother this is going to be a good year fam ❤ hope you get to 20k this year 🙏
My guy! Good to see you, bro! I hope 2024 is treating you well, so far! Much appreciated, brodie 👊🏽😎❤️💯
@retrospectivedave9018 yes sir everything is good on my end bro. Quick question how do you feel about giving your subscribers so live feeds and we all discuss the cold cold sneaker game
Definitely different
Subtle difference for sure!
Can I use 70% ridding alcohol????
You can use 70% alcohol. It might dissolve a little slower than the 91%, but you can use either one.
Might as well just paint a layer of angelus matte coating on
I have other pairs I can experiment with, so I'll try it and see how it turns out.
Please do these to my shoes
I’m being so serious about this too
There is no way I would do this ... no way .. lol
😂.....I used to feel that way, myself.
I want them😊
Bred 4 is my favorite 4! Definitely a dope shoe!
Bad enough my box came broken but to take off the shinyness n then see how it looks like it also removed the tumble leather look lol ill pass. They do look 🔥🔥🔥 tho i wont lie
It was more curiosity for me, plus I don't like tumbled leather. Anyway, I enjoyed the process.
I still have a pair that's untampered with.
@@retrospectivedave9018 it diff looks fire tho the outcome. I will say it looks better than the first pictures going around the internet. Yours came out legit fam.
It’s looks like it’s from DHgate now lol
😂
@@retrospectivedave9018 You brave to try that
Looks the same to me ...... unfortunately
The video was very well put together and entertaining. But why?
Thanks, Wayne!
So, when the original post was made, people were under the impression that they could just apply acetone to the sneakers to give that effect.
The purpose of the video was to show people that's not the case.
I don't know if the time and effort is worth the result. You do you though dude
Always! 👊🏽😎
🤧
Why ruin it
Because it's an option
i think u just removed the plastic coating which gives the tumbled look, u didnt reach the leather
The tumbled look is still there, just not as visible.
I have another pair I can experiment with, so I'll sand deeper to see what I come up with.
@@retrospectivedave9018 yo u dont have to, these turned out great and yeah they looked more premium
I appreciate it, bro! I'd still like to experiment with some pairs to see what else can be done.
@@retrospectivedave9018 alright then , just subbed so i wont miss it
Thank you, Death 👊🏽😎
honestly man, this doesn't look good. the customized pair looks cheap like a pair of Dunks, you know the material on those lol in some areas it looks real clean but the creasing will be horrible in the customized pair since there wont be any leather grain to mix with the creasing
Some people love it....Some people hate it..
I can't control it one way or the other. I just know I had fun making the video 👊🏽😎
Hell nawh!
😂
I bet you ruined the grey liner in the shoe
Nah, I didn't.
I wanted to allow the tongue to dry completely before removing the tape.
Yikes
Looks the same...
Oh Hell No these looks awful 🤮
😂
Great video, but horrible idea 💡 glad your pair and not mine !!!! 😆
Thanks for the kudos on the vid!
I had fun making it, and I have other pairs to experiment with. Looking forward to it!
