I have been a Professor of History on a college campus for over 25 years. One of the biggest problems is that colleges have developed though bubbles. It has often become a "group think" institution. Many students tell me they enjoy my lectures because they can come into class and get a new perspective on the world. I have even started to share them as a free resource.
Bless you for putting the classes out there for free. I'm a huge fan of of the yale open campus courses and would love to compare them with how they are taught at other universities. ❤
David, would you consider your take and or examination of History, to be a critical one that is expected from a professor. Facts in this particular discipline, is a very serious undertaking because the past shapes the future. Errors progressively contaminate the next steps until its obvious a mistake is clearly at hand. Or lies to make it fit together. In all honesty it's not supposed to get that far unless, you simply have a ethnic group over-representation at the key bottlenecks of power and corruption to fill in the gaps. Nobody's putting you to any clinical or intellectual scrutiny. I listened to enough of what you have to say as a professor. There is a rather ironic bias either towards Jews in history or perhaps, the Jews seem to play a big part right up front or less than 6 degrees of separation but at the same time completely absolved beyond something as rudimentary when we are often times forced to rationalize or conclude a common denominator. Facebook and Google and Instagram and basically the well streams in which you touch upon your history subjects dealing with artificial intelligence, and these are all Jewish
@@TheActualLiz not trying to be controversial, I don't know where you are from but I can suggest night courses at your local community college. Once you get past the indoctrination and start analyzing why history is what it is, you might gain insight. One of the most destructive ideas in the US (at least) is that courses at prestigious universities are superior to those at community colleges. I believe that the converse is true. Professors at prestigious universities don't have the time to spend on undergraduates, let alone lowerclassmen. Instructors at community colleges and city universities must( by job description ) focus their efforts on undergraduates. Btw, the "Dr" is earned. Just for reference, "Lies My Teacher Told Me", by James Loewen is definitely worth a read. I have doctorate in Science/mathematics. I'm not stupid. But once you get past the lies, once you direct your efforts to finding the truth (as I and other physical scientists do) you see the value in learning objective history. I would be extraordinarily kind to think that much of what we learned in school is more than group think more than mental masturbation. To gain any objective knowledge of history we must wash our hands and observe both where we are coming from, and where we wish to go.
@@Me-je2uw not sure whether you are being critical of my post or supportive. Nonetheless, I hated my history classes. In fact I hated many of my soft class requirements in college. The fact that even people in prestigious institutions are heavily biased on these issues based on their religious standpoint is frightening. Even with the privileged education they are receiving, they still base their judgement around a religious doctrine found centuries ago. The fear of the unknown that comes after death steers even the most well-educated individuals to make an irrational choice of discriminating an ethnic group because of the difference in religion. Irradicating religion from the government and institutions will get rid of these problems. So much for the separation of church and state. The First Amendments start off "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion." It prohibits the government favoring one religion over another or establishing an official religion of the government. Despite the money you spent on your education, you can't even get the basics down right. So much for the "Ivy League" standard. Goes to show the admittance process is broken and it's not the brightest of minds that attend these schools. The fact that there is a limit of admittance to these establishments based on race goes to prove how racist and controlling the schools are. It is 2023 and finally the Supreme Court admits the effects affirmative action has on these schools. What happens when you don't have this metric in place? You get a situation like Stuyvesant High School in New York City that accepts students based on academics. 82 % of the students are of a minority group and only 18% are White. Harvard doesn't want that nor do their donors. This world is run by greedy and racist idiots and it's hard not to see which ethnic group they come from.
Harvard has now officially said they fully support her and nothing will be done. So Harvard's stance is that racism is bad, but not when it is racism against Jews. That is perfectly acceptable to them. This is the beginning of the end for Harvard. Pull out donors.
Same question, why are we still giving tax payer money to Israel for all the atrocities they've caused over 50 years... The US needs to fix A LOT of thing, this University matter is but a small matter in a lot of things that need to be fixed.

The fact that she couldn't created a mess. May this serve as a warning to other institutions of higher learning... students, no matter what their ideology or faith, deserve to feel safe, heard, and respected.
It is a sad day when we need to discuss why it is wrong to condemn a race. This president needs to be fired and the board who supported her needs to be replaced.
She'll be able to keep her job because she's the first black, female president of Harvard. She's probably a lesbian, too. It's identity politics and intersectionality. That's why the Harvard alumni association won't do anything about this. That's why they support her despite her racial and anti-semitic prejudice.
Ms. Gay never answers simple questions, nor does she explain what "conduct" she's referring to. How she still has a job is beyond me.
