    Just making it curly because some videos I see there's is straight but they would be using the botanicals one. So is this one specifically for curls

  • @jvisionyt6282
    @jvisionyt6282 8 років тому +1

    great video💪 when you was applying the texturizer did you rub it or rake it into your hair? also did your hair start becoming looser and straighter quickly. lastly did you have to apply it fast?

    • @thewinstonee
      @thewinstonee  8 років тому +1

      +joshua montgomery thanks a lot. At first I rubbed it in just to get the cream on my hair, then I started raking it in to make sure I got it on every strand. My hair started becoming loose and curly, not straight.
      You have to apply it kinda quick but don't rush it. As soon at the cream touches your hair it starts processing so you don't want to take too long putting it in because some parts might start burning while other parts aren't ready to be washed out yet

    How long do you wait until you do a retouch? Also, do you get a cut your hair before or after applying the texturizer?

    • @thewinstonee
      @thewinstonee  7 років тому +1

      +Craig Jordan I wait about 2 months. I get a haircut before the texturizer. But you should wait at least a day after a haircut before applying the texturizer because it might burn from any cuts you got from your haircut

    Okay I've been doing texturizers for years since my parents started doing it to my hair when I was like 10 ,do you have a issue with breakage and what kind of products do you use to strengthen it specially at the point of new growth and texturizers cause I know that's the most fragile part

    • @thewinstonee
      @thewinstonee  8 років тому +2

      +Cameron Haynes yea sometimes I get breakage when I'm not taking care of my hair which I struggle with simply because I'm lazy, there's no excuse. But at the least I try to moisturize everyday with a leave in conditioner by shea butter and apply olive oil to my scalp, which is my favorite

    is their a way to keep the curls looking wet Winstone i want to give my scurl movement and do you need a lot of length

    • @thewinstonee
      @thewinstonee  6 років тому

      You need length to give it movement. You can keep the curls looking wet with gel but then your hair will get stiff. What i do is put some coconut oil in a spray bottle and after a shower I’ll spray a little in my hair will it’s wet and that usually gives it a wet look when it’s dry. But don’t spray too much or else your hair will get too oily.

    Yo i assume i have the same hair texture as yours (your hair before texturized). i don't want my curls as loose as yours(when you texturized your hair) but do i HAVE to leave it in for 20-25 mins / when i start to feel the burn OR can i leave it in for 15-10 mins to get that kinky curly look

    • @thewinstonee
      @thewinstonee  8 років тому

      +Joseph Webster You can leave it in as long as you like. It doesn't have to be 20 minutes. I only leave it in that long because I have thick hair so I wanna make sure it gets everywhere. But yea for a more kinky look take it out sooner

    • @thewinstonee

      The texturize stays in your hair forever. But you’ll have to keep reapplying about every two months for new growth

      +Andre Music Productions thanks a lot man I appreciate it. And yes, it does do some damage to your hair. Any chemical you put in your hair will do a little damage

      Winstonee so does it damage the hair that's on your head already? or it damages your head as a whole? and after you cut it all off it will still be damaged?

    What hair products do you use to style your s-curls in the morning when you first wake up? I wet mine then use the Cantu leave-in conditioner and the curling cream but it dries my hair out after the wetness dries and it's annoying. I know with s-curls you have to moisturize your hair a lot anyway but I just don't like how my hair dries out when I style it in the morning cuz if I'm in a rush, I'll have to go out with dry hair until I have time to moisturize it later on in the day. So what's your morning routine bruh?

      Prolific Pops i use to have scurl im thinkin of getting it back in a few but sleep wit a hair cap on so it keeps the hair moist threw the night so when u wake up it will be nice and silky and wet in the morning keep applyin the conditioner but not to much and aply the scurl cream hope that works!!

      @@BandoMadeit I stopped using s-curls earlier this year. Been rocking all natural since February. I've been using texturizers for nearly 2 years and I finally realized that it's better overall to go natural than using his chemicals to curl your hair when you can just naturally train your hair to curl as it grows.
