      @@thewinstonee Thanks for replying, I just wanted to know so I could make myself a "mental picture" on how the results would be (my hair is mostly 4c with some patches of 4b & 4a, mainly around the nape area). Yeah, I'll probably try it some time in the future, I've relaxed it before a couple of times, it was ok, but I much prefer (as far as chemically treating my hair goes) those kind of coils that you got, compared to straight-ish hair (that said, my hair in its natural state has always been my favorite, but I like to play around with it, lol).

I'm ready to use Scurl again, do you have any suggestions or anything that I should possibly try since this is my second time applying Scurl (keeping in mind I am back to my original hair)? Also, last time i did apply Scurl I wasn't too sure when to begin washing my hair, after putting in Scurl, when do you suggest is ok to begin washing your hair with the texturizer in?

    This turned out great!! If I say wanted to use this texturizer just once on my 4c hair will, say after a month+, my hair slowly but surely go back to normal (as in its natural 4c state) without having to cut it or will the texturizer damage the hair so much that would then be impossible like a lot of relaxers?

      @thewinstonee  3 роки тому +5

      After a month or so your hair won’t necessarily go back to normal but you will have new growth growing in that will be your natural hair. And eventually if enough new growth grows in it’ll start to look like your hair went back to natural

    • @thewinstonee

      If you haven’t cut your hair since then, more than likely majority of your hair is natural. The only part that might still be texturized is your ends from texturizing them a year ago. The only way to fix that would be cut the ends off. But your roots are natural.

You don’t want to apply it to freshly washed hair because the natural oils your hair produce over time helps to protect it against too much damage from the Scurl chemical. Washing your hair (with shampoo) right before a texturizer will strip its oils.
