- Hey guys in this video I show you how to SUCCESSFULLY apply comb through texturizer. In this video he goes from natural, kinky, coarse, 4c hair to a type b hair and I give you the tools on how to style it through out the week. Hope you get some tips from this video for you guys out there looking to try something new with that tired ass high-top!

Hey hun I hope you see my comment I have very curly hair & soft also thick ! I’ve recently bought this product I’m hoping I could use it to lay my hair down so I can get it braided or twist. Because I go through so much pain I can never get my hair done. So I was told try this product and it would soften my hair lay it down so when there combing it, it wouldn’t hurt as much because it’s been texturize. Is this true ?! Also I’m hoping it will not damage my hair or take my curls away I don’t like perms or any chemicals on my hair. But from what I’ve heard this is a good product to use & it will not damage my hair.

Looks good. I’m thinking of doing this to my son’s hair. He does not want to have his hair combed. So I think this would be an option. It’s so funny because I will not put chemicals in my hair or my daughters hair.The Difference is he does not want to come his hair and I think this will be better in the long run for him. Or I would just have to cut it all off and he will be bald.

Texturizer is the way to go, 1 week ago i had 7 inches of hair & stuck with thick LIKE IM TALKING THICK ass afro my hair got tangled very easily and very fast and keep in mind im puetorican and black but anyways after the texturizer i went from thick thick 4c hair to nice ass 3c hair like my curls hang down and every thing. If your wondering about the texturizer i used 2x strength

Do you need to cut your hair?
After my hair is texturized do I use moisturizer for my hair every day to prevent it from being dry and burning my scalp
From a 4c who texturizes: it shouldn't burn once you wash it out.
*Moisture:* Personally, I never used heavy products on my hair before texturizing. I lightened the list to Just water/ S-curl spray & a light oil or cream every 2-3 days.
This might not work for you exactly, but don't be afraid to "lighten" the products because you might run into buildup quicker because the hair is looser. Take care 😊🍸❤

Since u did sections, did u rinse out the section you did at the beginning first, because if u didn’t parts of the hair would have been texturized for longer?

The effect goes away over time without you having to cut it. So after 3 months you probably won’t see the effects anymore
What if its a self application? Won't one side of the head already be processed by the time a person gets to the opposite site. These texturizers have processing times after which its starts to straighten instead of just curling.

Start on the more corse sections first too

It's makes it more easy to manage and makes the curls more lose and define.
so what a texturizer/texlaxer does is make your already natural coarse or curly hair have a looser curl pattern, it doesn't make it entirely straight unless you do it too much or too close from the last time you've done it or done incorrectly. If you have transitioning hair let your natural hair grow out and cut off the ends. If you want a looser curl pattern try the texturizer.
So which should I use Pro Line or S-curl like which is better?
use the pro-line comb through texturizer but I like the s-curl spray for maintenance better than the pro line spray

Whats the difference between this and the s curl texturizer? I see a lot of s curl videos but not many on this product. Will this make my hair bone straight or will it make my hair like how his turned out (how I want it). I have the same hair type as he did.
They both can make it bone straight. I had it done 2 times and that happened but this time I'm going to do it myself. I've researched that you need DRY hair, WIDE TOOTH COMB and leave it in for not more than 7 minutes. Even though the box says 30 or something at least for my hair that's BS.
So I may do 6 at most.

Doesn't see like she's gonna answer. But whatever time it was, that was for HIS hair. You have to pay attention to the hair that you're doing..everyone's hair is different n some processes much quicker n is more porous than others. Know your hair (or the head you're doing).

It’s permanent you’d have to cut it off. That’s why you wanna think twice before putting chemicals in ya head
Gotta cut it out. You got it straight because u probably smoothed it..u aren't suppose to-That's what makes it straight AND left on too long. It the same as a Relaxer..SAME chemical. Ot coming out straight or nist loosening the coil is all in how u physically manipulate the chemical on the hair.

Try a base next time like vaseline if you feel comfortable doing it again. Let your hair grow out before doing it right away.

plugboi johnny exactly like the curls lost they’re form and it looks kinda messy if you don’t reapply it
plugboi johnny you're supposed to reapply only to the roots of your hair because that's where your new growth is. Your new hair is gonna grow the way it naturally grows, the hair that was previously texturized is permanently manipulated so you're technically not supposed to reapply it to that portion. Most people don't stick to those rules, and I know I wasn't even aware of them for a few years. I reapplied every month for like 6 months and my hair ended up turning light brown and getting really damaged.

plugboi johnny Hair grows on average at about half an inch per month. So after 4 months your hair would've grown 2 inches. Since you're only supposed to reapply to that 2 inches of regrowth, I think it would be pretty hard to do. One method I saw thought, if you want to try it, is to put vaseline on the parts of your hair that have already been treated before. This "apparently" slows the process of the s-curl on that part of the hair therefore, decreasing the likelihood of damage. Using that method you still want to try to get as little of the S-Curl on your already treated hair as possible. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately I didn't time it but I wanna say the application process took 15 minutes. I would say don't leave it in for more than 20 minutes

The curling sponge works days later I've also texturizer my hair and I still use the sponge, it works for me.
