Finally got the BEST Wireless Set Up for the HONDA Africa Twin DCT with the DJI Osmo Action 4 connected to the Wireless DJI Mic 2, Battery Power thanks to the Tough On Pocket Power bank, TPMS with Fobo Bike 2 and Wireless Android Auto. My phone stays safely in my pocket, fully charged and no longer out in the elements! Happy Days!!
I have installed the wireless dongle under the pillion seat, with a USB-C cable under the fuel tank to the pillion seat. And it's really good. I do have an issue with the wireless dongle at places though, they disconnect at times at few specific places, maybe jammers of some kind.
That's why I kept a short cable on it and have it close to the TFT. Haven't had a disconnect yet but I do need to spend more time out on the road with it. Very impressed so far!
@@ADVBrett of course I have not had an issue around the suburbs, however, I have noticed it particularly happens near the airport or specifically in the city with tall buildings, such as in Sydney City. And this not only happens with my bike, it also happens when I am driving the car and I use the same manufacturer dongle for the car.
Oh without a doubt, Osmo Action 4 any day of the week and twice on Sunday's!! I'll never go back to GoPro, I had so many issues in the past with them. The Action 4 is quicker, easier to use and just a better unit all together. Love the quick release mounts as well. They're a game changer!
@@ADVBrett cheers 🥂 I obviously am not looking at professional vlogging such as you, but just wanting to record a few rides now and then and also use it when I can while swimming.

Maybe it is just me, but I find your video confusing. There are so many devices. Do you need the power bank to make it work? It feels like you skipped some steps...
Confusing? How so? Each device assists the other. Having the Garmin Zumo XT2 means I don't need to have my phone as a GPS, BUT if I want Waze, Google Maps, Gaia GPS, than I can have it by using the Android Auto Wireless Dongle and the phone sits safely in my jacket pocket or tank bag. The Tough On power bank keeps the phone charged while I've got it connected to the wireless dongle. It all works together really well.

@@ADVBrett Thanks for the video, very helpful. Have you had a chance to use the wireless dongle in the rain? If so, how has it held up?
@SimonBirkby Hey Simon, I had no issues with it in light rain but didn't risk it in heavier rain as it's not really a waterproof device.
Hmmm. Interesting. Well worth the watch. Thanks.
It's worth looking at, thats for sure!
The man of many gadgets! Nice one.
Is the DJI mic and DJI action camera smart enough to start and stop the wireless mics with each recording?
Sure does, the latest update will do just that. Pretty neat piece of kit!
@@ADVBrett nice. They would have had a lot of recommendations for that update 🙂
@@TwoWheelerSparky It's made some huge changes, just need to get out more now!

@@ADVBrett beautiful 🤩
It makes it easier for me to buy one myself, I've been contemplating between the two. Will look for a good deal to pick up mine

Hi,
Fobo should be accessible from your android auto honda panel, isn't it?
I wish! Even after the latest update it still doesn't have an Android Auto panel.

@@NowHereMan9999 That's a good point, I'll give it a test this week and see if a notification comes up

Nah dude the best android auto wireless would be a device that mimics the rubber cover or goes under it allowing for perfect waterproof
