- Welcome back to the continuation of our Rimworld Anomaly journey! After surviving the first 100 days in this harrowing world, we now face even greater challenges as we push onward into the abyss. Join me as we confront the horrors that lurk within Rimworld Anomaly: endless fleshbeasts, elusive stalkers, and the chilling creatures that haunt the darkness. With the difficulty ramped up to the highest setting, every decision is crucial for our survival. Can we endure the relentless onslaught and emerge triumphant in this continuation of our epic 100-day saga? This was played on Rimworld 1.5 with the Royalty, Ideology, Biotech and Anomaly DLC enabled. The difficulty is the losing is fun preset on 500% threat with the Randy Random storyteller. As someone who is playing anomaly, don't. It actually sucks. It will just straight up destroy your colony instantly with no chance of fighting back. I've been using dev mode because my colony has been destroyed 6 or 7 times
@@froo5667 ive done a run, it's not bad, it's just hard. you gotta stay in your toes at all time and if you don't you die. i've also heard that repeated by many others
@@Change24I would say you just gotta wait till your colony is a lot more developed and late game to start anomaly than it should be
honestly that was my major concern looking at the devblogs; too many completely random, no warning, no reaction time no prep time “ggez you lose” events
if the best way to prepare and handle most of anomaly is “be hella stacked late game” i’m just gonna ignore the DLC as a whole lol

Just finish the Anomaly DLC yesterday and got to say, single-handed made the game better for me, I like playing in the hardest setting but them turning the scale back to 100% surviving is hard no because of every raids having 500 people but because mood and food are a problem, Anomaly made attacks fun again because it's not just mechs and people, something is something minor that destroy your plan because being outside makes your body get scratch

Sad news that updates came out which broke most of my mods from the Everything 2 modpack.
Good news, that for 1.4 all of them came back (even Save Our Ships 2 too, but I needed to download it from their github page).
So afterr a bit work, and adding a few new mods (performance, and quality of life mostly) there is an almost working pack again!
I can't wait for the 300 days!!!!

Fum fact about the kidnapping ritual
You can, in fact, accidently kidnap the EMPIRES QUEEN/KING, with the ritual
Which, you can then recluit her, have a child with her that will inherit her title
AND will be a extremoy good psyker
New patch nerfed it so it wont kidnap faction leaders that often, the problem was that unless you get raided often not that many enemy pawns were pre-generated, so it had bias towards the leaders.

Enemies that are on fire doesn't have collision, that's why they are able to get behind your melee defense. Fire really isn't good. More likely to lose because of it. Also it burns your base down, lol.

So this DLC pretty much overrides all other raids , bit weird but maybe cuz performance is an issue with this game make sense, no?
