This was played on Rimworld 1.5 with the Royalty, Ideology, Biotech and Anomaly DLC enabled. The difficulty is the losing is fun preset on 500% threat with the Randy Random storyteller. I'ma be so real. I stopped watching you for a bit for no actual reason BUT when anomaly dropped I actively sought your channel out again because I knew this would pop off. Your playthroughs are double as fun to actively watch and equally fun to passively have on. You've for for gotten a couple extra views on vids from me falling asleep to the sounds of raids and warcrimes and then re watching the vid to actually see it all.

Your commitment to this is insane, it takes me about 3 IRL days to get through 1 year in game (60 days) and here you are, 300 days in, fully edited, with voiceover, in less than 2 weeks since it came out
For future help, I believe putting sandbags in the hall way stops the enemies from pushing themselves through (The exploding racoons). Could help in your defenses.

FYI: if you ever need to get rid of the Nociosphere, SUMMON SHAMBLERS, they are very resistent to one of the Spheres teleport attacks, they are durable and they come in higher numbers the higher the quality, it takes around like 20+ shamblers to completely keep the Nociosphere occupied. The summon is cheap and always ready, unless you constantly use it for some reason....

I have another idea for the toxic wasteland run , you should do the vampire start and use vampire extended to use the Toxic corps eating vampires and a waster
Not to mention with the new dlc, and being a toxic vampire there's a much better chance you could do 500 days(or more) in a complete toxic wasteland in rimworld

When dealing with the gold cube, i anesthesized all the affected pawns.
0 issues with dissasembling
Bioferrite has psycho-conductive properties, so items made from them can be used to improve neural heat limit and recovery rate similar to eltex gear, but unlike eltex gear you can craft it for yourself. Really cool how Anomaly is both self suffient as a DLC but also compliments the other DLC.

Been rimming so hard because of this expansion, been tons of fun.
The one time he got a human raid and couldn't even use the nociosphere, rip.

i love the made in abyss soundtrack. It's really unique
With how much you like to check for enemy traits, I would suggest getting the numbers mod, it adds few useful tabs for easy viewing, you can even get extension to color-code traits so you can pick out the perfect colony candidates from 200+ large raids.

26:02 chronophagy can make pawn younger and heal scar + age related conditions
If pawn is very close to mental break, make them drink mind numb serum, cancel it entirely for 2 whole days
I found a nice way to combat revenants, a psycaster with skip, when the revenant tries to hypnotize a colonist skip it away, it tries to run to you again just to be shot at at beeing skipped away again

I didn't think of using Atmospheric heater to grow plants in the winter... But what i did think of was using it to heat whole map to 100 degree Celsius to immolate any enemy pawn on the map... yeah
I think that the type of raids you get with anomaly have been changed on 500% threat. I wonder if they will tweak it. Regardless this is a clinical power build. I’m looking forward to the finale.
At this point I'm starting to believe that interacting with the Anomaly DLC content reduces raid strength.

With that dlc i was able catch feeling of newbee. Barely play big mods due to lack of balance and performance issues. Such a cool moment having no idea whats going on and how to deal with it. Rimworld kinda "less knowledge more fun". btw Nociosphere is extremely vulnerable to emp. Game considering it as a building after all and this not have adaptation to it... for now.

Rimworld is the Butlerian Jihad, but the worms of Dune are mechanoid centipedes and humanity is losing.
I wish I would of watched someone else play a long time ago. I have a bit of hours in the game, but there are some very obvious things that I learned. Like building a perimeter with choke points instead of just open land with sandbags as cover.
Man you never want to have most of your pawn got obsessed with the cube especially your best melee pawn and deactivate the cube without stripping them first it's just chaos in the whole colony until everyone is down

Tbh this dlc fits the game so well its like everything is harmonic. They might have even fixed the boring lte game human raids. In previous runs you always had the map full of 200 enemy raiders that attacked each other now its different quests and such. Never the same raid twice in a row. A few new types of raids would make the game more interesting though.

I don't remember if someone already said this but you actually can just put the cube in a caravan and abandon it on some nearby map tile then just go home.
Anyone fixated on it goes into cube withdrawal but it's really not that big a deal if you catch it quick
interesting. Yeah probably easier than having them go berserk at the corner of the map

I think you had some options besides Luciferium to heal Silver.
You could have made her a vampire, gotten the biosculpter thing (Does that do internal scars?), or waited for a healer mech serum again.
