Most likely the difference in recommendations for valve adjustment is based on 43,000 miles vs 100,000 kms.
My honda stepwagon in 145km never done valve adjustment still good sound but l will try do it.😊

How is the engine after adjustment? Do you notice a difference in sound or performance?
I don't notice any difference in performance or sound. It was and still is quite a silent engine
