Can i ask a few qestion?? If i eat with okinawa bron sugar syrup, is it too sweet? Or do i have to reduce sugar?? Can you show the recipe of brown sugar syrup??
@@cutiekhwan I would reduce the sugar in the mochi if you eat it with brown sugar syrup.(but you still need some sugar in it) Add same equal weight of brown sugar and water in a pot and heat it, keep stirring until the syrup is thick.
In our past, my mother used to make this candy at home. I'll look for it here in my city, if possible, I'll look for ingredients and try to make it here at home.
Love this simple recipe! :) Do we store the warabimochi with the Kinako powder in the fridge together, or do you suggest dusting mochi with kinako powder only on the day we eat it? Thanks!

I recommend to make with tapioca flour in terms of texture and taste. ☺️🌸
Is black sugar same as dark brown sugar in the US. It looks the same but I am not sure.

Tapioca is actually Cassava starch. Tapioca flour and tapioca starch both are same.
