“Didn’t avoid the chaos of life, but used it as a canvas for exploration” - thank you for the wise words.❤ After all the philosophical searches, a person will eventually understand that all the answers are in his own body. Man has more great possibilities than he guesses.
Sartrean is a word coined to describe someone who follows the teachings of Jean Paul Sartre. There don't seem to be many of them, and this video helped me understand why. Soren Kierkegaard was the actual Father of Existentialism, but came to different practical conclusions to Sartre. I don't find Sartre's version more reasonable than Kierkegaard's original.
Thank you for sharing your reflections! It’s interesting how the term 'Sartrean' never really caught on, perhaps reflecting how Sartre’s influential ideas didn’t establish a widespread following as a strict 'school' of thought. Kierkegaard, often considered the father of Existentialism, certainly approached life’s big questions from a more theologically-influenced perspective, making his conclusions quite distinct from Sartre’s. I’m glad the video helped explain why these philosophical paths diverged so starkly. Your comment highlights the richness and diversity within existential philosophy
Make no mistake, life is an adventure given to lucky persons for enjoyment, and those which enjoy it are winners and those who don't are loosers, for whatever reason...
The end is the very peak .. What meaning do each of us create.. Yes this the essence of the entire puzzle and the answer too.. So why bother.. If we cannot control everything.. nor can we bring the best for us.. nor are we sure of the morrow.. So Why bother after all. Let each do his best for a certain given time.. But even here.. Great many differences and contradictions result.. So why bother.. Come what may...

We're here to love, learn, be kind, make a difference and pass it on. Got it?
Thank you and also suffer the sufferings of others.

I read and watch Sartre not because he’s an Atheist, but because he understood what it means to EXIST!!!!

Life takes on a whole new meaning once you accept that suffering is just a big part of it and that everyone around you is also suffering in some way.
So why then did he kill himself?
@@lynnfisher3037 he didn't kill himself. He died of pulmonary edema.

This is nothing but one man's view on why we're here. Nothing to be taken as gospel.

His name is not pronounced GENE. It's French, pronounced Zhohn. Wise up.
Djīn Paul Sartre😅... You ought to learn to pronounce Jean in French.
