I recall rushing to the local record shop on a Saturday morning to spend my pocket money on the latest Sandie Shaw record ........followed by the mad dash home to play it on my little record player..........Pure magic....thank you Sandie.

I don't know much about Jools Holland or Sandie Shaw, but the combination of the two is amazing. The Jools Holland band played a perfect balance of music to the performer. Absolute class!

( tech a promo for the Isle of Wight 1970, rock festival and Dylan) A track which dominated the radio in 1970 even in South Island, NZ . Timaru, Lyttleton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff were full of Port and Star line motorships taking the lamb, beef and butter to Liverpool and Southampton, particularly then although the trade and British motor racing comics, rock music magazines, stars, cars and 20 year settlers etc NZ got in return, eased off after 1973 EEC entry.
