Interested to know why Sandy was denied a US Visa throughout most of her sixties and 70s performing career. It seems unlikely the militant feminism of girl don't come was the reason Lily Allen certainly wasn't banned. Chrissie Hyde was apparently deported 5 times from France in 1977-78 for political activity and was apparently regarded as threatening to form a UK branch of the red terrorist org Bader Meinhoff of n the UK with Malcolm McLaren and Westwood. In some ways MsnHyde organised both the Sex Pistols and the Clash who were largely of Russian origin.and diplomats son Joe Strummer had even worse intent. So what political crimes was this gorgeous and very angry working class young lady planning in 1967
