I'm staying in because of my asthma, and I have no plans to go anywhere soon. I can't get to work, and my cousin is also out of work. We're both broke, and staying at my house she lost her lease. My EDC now includes 3 pair of gloves, and hand sanitizer, I bought a huge one before all this started.

I wear a suit to work & it's surprising the similar items that are my EDC. My most recent additions have been a personalised bottle of hand sanitiser, extra $200 cash & a medical penlight (2 x AAA batteries). Last week I needed fuel only to hear their banking system was disabled so I filled up with my cash. I also carry a chap stick size powerbank to top up my phone battery.

the mask you made with the hank, we do the same but we put a coffee filter in the middle, that works, when you come back home you wash the hank,and you trow the filter away.

most coffee filter are 20 Microns... wont do much more than what the Hank alone will do.. but hell... Every single layer helps!
I find these hilarious. How many knives and multi tools do need to go on a walk? And do you journal every time you go out? Everybody thinks they are Rambo.
Let’s be realistic, unless you are doing survival training with the Seals, all you need is a small pocket knife and your phone.
I doubt he carry or even use most of this stuff. It's just gear hoarding, people who have all the gear, but no idea.

Happy Birthday! I'm open carrying inside my house and in my backyard, CC'ing in the front yard. Not going out at all until May (yes, MAY) and have a 3M mask, a glove box full of latex gloves, and a second pair of shoes in the car so I don't wear possibly contaminated shoes back in the house.

EDC change: added n95 mask and a neck gaiter. I wear the gaiter over the mask so I can wash it when I get home and still use the mask over and over.

I now carry an inflatable plastic bubble that I can get into whenever I get nervous. I carry condoms for extra protection. Also a tape measure so others know what is 6 feet.
Why not just make a massive Round Tabletop with shoulder/ back straps, cut a hole in the middle to fit into and force 6ft social distancing while wearing in your condom bubble?

Today is April 14 2021 which is is Pandemic DAY 399. March 11, 2021 was DAY 365 and then 20 days later its March 31 then add 14 more days and this is now Pandemic DAY 399.
then the next day of April 15 its the Ides of April and it is Pandemic DAY 400 tomorrow.
Happy Birthday! Some good stuff! I really like that multi-tool! I've added a dust mask that I added a HEPA filter to (best I can do), some reusable gloves that I put into a bleach/water mix at night and some homemade sanitizer. I might be completely redoing my EDC. I have a Ribz chestpack I got for hiking/backpacking but I want to try it instead of my small backpack.
That multi-tool is cool. Never hurts to keep rethinking your edc

@@DropForgedSurvival after everclear your ability to function properly declines a bit too much for some reason 😄 hope your able to celebrate your day with some sense of normalcy.
one thing to bare in mind... the more things are suspended, or worn on the outside,,(keys, watch,brasselet,ring,etc...) need to be disenfected, the sooner you get home.. the first thing i did, was to go no watch, no paracord, no ring, and take out of keyring, my SAK, and light,, carry all the above in the bag,,, and touch em only when need em...
If u think about it, in this scenario bug out bags [which have a lot of videos on youtube] are kinda pointless since we are supposed to sit behind filters and expose ourselves as little as possible to the outside. So having an EDC would be somewhat intriguing since we are supposed to sit indoors. But if you have to go out for a supply run, there's something you missed completely. PPC! It's really icky to go outside during these times without PPC. Don't have latex or plastic gloves? No problem, take 2-3 small trash-bags, put them one in the other till you have a 3 layer trashbag, put your hand in, suqeeze the inside of the 3 layered bag and take your hand and put it in front of a hair dryer, not a heat gun, a hair dryer and slowly wiggle ur hand until the plastic bags take the shape of a 2 extremities glove, 4 finger in one enclosure and your thumb in another enclosure, then add an elastic band at the end so it does not fall off. Ask for help from your parter on the other hand. And once you come home, take them off and throw them, do not reuse unless you can dip them in Cl or Alcohool.

I have a few good GShocks, two Rescues, and my main aviator Casio with a compass. One Rescue (black model) is the solar model, it's great. A Mudmaster or Rangemaster or the one you have would be even better. Solar's a good idea because, if you cannot find batteries and a watch tool, good luck powering it. I'm assembling an actual Bug Out Bag now, I had a good deal of the basics
already, but I"m going to finalize it by next week. I have a good large backpack, but I may upgrade that as well. Should have done it a long time ago. Knives I've got, good full tang quality ones, and lights and multitool, need food, shelter, ponchos, and some better fire and first aid kits. I also need a second small tool kit for my car, on the go. I recommend a good Gerber or Leatherman multitool if you can swing it. Home Depot usually has them in stock. I also keep a few good Wenger knives (the Trekker is the best one) on hand, but I wouldn't use them in place of a full tang
knife, of course, or a really good quality folder that's reliable. Things are getting scary out there.
Listerine Mouthwash in a small spray bottle works great if you have no hand sanitizer.

The Rangeman DOES have a compass. It's part of the barometr/compass/altimeter function.

I used to carry that SOG keychain knife. Then one day it opened up somehow and attacked me haha. I told it it needed to live in my drawer for a while....

Hey Chris maybe in there near future u might want to pick a phone soap box (UV-C light box). That will help clean u phone and ur filters along with few other thing. i have one myself.

EDC gear is a personal Preference you can’t judge what some one carry’s for personal use you may not like what they carry but it’s what works for them
@@jasonpaeth6608 everything is a personal preference and yes we can judge things it's an opinion and we are allowed to have them. I can say my opinion on something as well as make a judgment on whether I feel it is viable etc. I can say if I feel their are better options out there. Hence why it's a review and why they would voluntarily send it in for review. This is one way people learn better options is by having it reviewed. If you are so determined to not be judged by what you carry or for people to have an opinion on it then dont submit it for review.

Truth be told. I am not a huge Tops fan.
A lot of lip balm has sunscreen in it and can be used to protect your other skin.
Or as hand lotion.

If you live in a ccw state, i highly suggest you carry. People are becoming obnoxious about masks, sneezing, and coughing (its allergy season) and the need to defend yourself from pretentious ass hats is becoming apparent. I saw an old guy almost get attacked because he had congestive heart failure and over exerted himself and coughed a couple of times in a grocery store!

While researching fire tools I considered a Zippo again, but having owned one previously I had it drip fuel in my pocket pretty reliably. How do you find yours treats you, and does that case help you avoid said leakage? I ended up settling for a bic lighter, but have found its susceptibility to wind is a bit frustrating. Thoughts?
