Haha I'll have to put that in my arsenal

Dude, I use a Leatherman for that.
lawned mowed by me (i am a living, breathing human being, born by a mother for accomplishing human-like tasks for the end goal, the achievement of a state of happiness. I have the basic biological necessity for food and drink, and I can control the excretion of such resources. I am a human, and I will be a human until the end-of-life. My humanity means a lot to me, and I take pride (a human emotional state) in myself being a human. It's a good feeling to have basic human senses, like touch, taste, vision and a lot more senses that make me human. I love to think about things that make me human, as thinking is a human neurological process that makes me more human. As other fellow humans, I am competitive and often compete against other humans like myself in order to perceptively be the better human to other fellow humans. I am thinking about competition right now (writing in connected sentences is a human neurological condition as well, that makes me even more human), and I will most likely go to compete with my fellow humans after sleeping (sleep is a naturally recurring state of human mind and human body that makes me more human, as humans can get exhausted and they need this for restoring my mental and physical capabilities (me as a human needs these), processing my human memories (that contain other fellow humans who I do humanly things with for fun, which is a human emotional state), and for dreaming (dreaming is a state of altered consiciousness and a human physological phenomenon that makes me human) about other human things I will do when I wake up next day. (time is an indefinite continued process of existence and events and measured in arbitarily specified units made by us humans) I am already full of joy (human emotion) from even thinking (human state of mind) about what I will do (using my human hands, a multi-fingered manipulator appendage designed for gripping and holding objects) with other fellow humans next day! "Are they expensive? Yes." I think this might qualify as what we call an understatement. $1,000 pocket knife is WAY past "expensive".
Yeah, didn't know yuppy came in grayman, lol still liked the ankle kit
Clever
you buy the equipment you can afford, he obviously has money so why not use the gear he likes best just because it costs more
A hi point 18.5” semi carbine is $550 in canada.
I thought he was done ..... then he broke out the ankle holster like pulling a rabbit out of a hat. 🧙♂️🐇
TaaaDaaa
How does he sit with a mag and a phone in his back pockets
That’s easy... he doesn’t sit
No sitting... always ready
Never lackin
Simple, he just shoves them up his ass
Believe ot or not, I have a similar setup. I keep a bulkier set of keys on a carabiner/paracord setup cliped to my belt loop and tucked into the side of my rear right pocket. My giant sized cellphone goes in my left rear pocket. If you take an extra moment to ensure thekeys are tucked to the sidewhen you sit, it's not that bad. Worst case scenario, you sit on them, they poke you and you adjust from there. Once in a blue moon I set my car alarm off lol. As far as the phone goes, I have an older metal cased phone. Soon it will be time to upgrade and I have wondered whether or not a less sturdy phone will flex and break when sat on.
“I try and keep everything as trim as possible” then pulls out 3 knives, 4 flashlights, a lighter, 2 bricks and a snow blower.
I carry 2 flashlights, a 4 bit screwdriver, a pen, earbuds, a phone, pepper spray with a quick realease attached to a carabiner, my keys on an s biner with a nite ize doohickey and a sog flint a pocket knife, a swiss army knife, a gerber prybrid utility knife, my wallet, my watch with a compass attachtment, my multitool pliers, a hat with a bump cap and 3 paper clips inside so yeah i dont really care about keeping it trim as long as its comfortable

xD
This guy takes longer than his wife to get ready for sure.
DICK!!! Comment made me choke on my coffee...
Wife already went to dinner and came back.
Actually, I carry a lot of stuff and also just wear regular jean like pants from academy.
I typically leave mine loaded the night before so I can just step into them in the morning and go. Saves lots of time, and were I to need to make a quick exit in the middle of the night due to a fire or something, my pants and shirt are sitting on the chair by my bed and boots are right below so I would grab them as I made my exit even if I had no time to dress. At least I could get dressed in the yard while watching it burn 🤔
Flashlight on my phone flashlight on my gun flashlight in my pocket Sun don’t go down till 9 PM in the summer 😂😂
I carry 2 flashlights and the flash on my phone, always so if youre inside a building the sun doesnt really matter😂 or inside a car or underneath a car seat, and im not trying to be a wise ass or anything but doesn't the sun go down at like 7:30 or 8?
@@SergioMartinez-xv9tt well here Missouri it was about 8:50 pm and the sun was just going down but just like the guy in the video if you can make it fit by all means do it I just personally think it’s a bit excessive just like everyone else making joke in the comment section
That’s awesome you can do that. I’m struggling to be able to carry a weapon comfortably. Awesome video. Thanks for continuing to put them out for us
Missing just one thing. . . EDC suspenders to hold your pants up!
You only need suspenders when your guts bigger around than your legs lol.
Lol
Hahaha
I've had a number of handgun classes in the last few years and every single instructor told me I should carry a trauma kit on my ankle. And its not for saving your attacker either, its for saving yourself or innocent bystanders.
@Guess What? Your well-versed and verbose argument has rendered my point null. Well done sir.
@@Shorty_Lickens SInce it's been deleted, now I'm curious what that argument was because the trauma kit makes sense to me as well.
@@Bpjames Umm, it's been months, so I don't recall. But with the dozen or so pistol classes I've taken it was made quite apparent a small trauma kit is a good idea for anyone carrying daily. You may need it, a friend may need it, a stranger may need it. You cant be sure.
@@Shorty_Lickens Thanks, I do agree on that for sure.
@@Bpjames I'm curious too
GREAT VIDEO! I enjoyed your explanation for each item of your EDC gear and the well thought out placement. Moreover, the ankle medical carry was GENIUS.
A little piece of advice I took from an old man once, do not carry something in your back pocket when sitting for for very long(like driving). Sitting for long periods of time with pressure on your butt will cause nerve damage in your legs when done on the regular.
Even better: forget about back pockets, they are insecure.
@@EVR1AL cargo pants :)
Pockets on the side ftw
Awesome! But I'm 5'6" not 6'6" 😆 that would be like putting an entire living room and home theater system in my shower. Not enough square footage!
I need to know what's under the hat. A pop up tent with a range cooker?
Underneath my hat i carry a bump cap and 3 paperclips, and i can put my flashlight on it too😂
😄
Pause video.
Go to 4:01 = A normal person's EDC
Go to 14:55 = You've gone full Rambo Apocalypse
Looks good. Speaking of useful things, I also run a Blue Moon Belgian White. Works real well 👍
I have a hard time imagining a full size mag staying in my back pocket at all times.
Awesome EDCs, definitely something to be mindful of.
You definitely gave me some great Information. I will watch again and take notes.
This man takes edc to a whole new level
Be aware that a clinch pick with a double edge is considered a "dagger", and illegal or questionable in many states. They are almost universally legal the way they come.
ONLY 4 cutting tools? Pff, noob.
Super funny
Rookie numbers
Thanks John, fantastic you EDC,good bless you
I CARRY ALL OF THAT PLUS Field Notes/pen, full size Bowie knife, Bull whip, Winchester Defender, Mag light, 10K rounds for my M&P 9, change of shoes, extra dog collars, my wife's purse, extra motorcycle tires, car jack, tool box, 2 electric Gatling guns 50 cal of course, a miniature comfort horse named Scooby and a diaper because you never know when you will need that kind of commitment! Be safe out there.
First what an informative video with lots to think about and solid advice. Second thank you for displaying some wonderful ideas and great gear !!! Thank you
I can't imagine edc-ing 30 pounds of crap on me. That's not a edc kit that's a bug out kit lol. Nice things tho my friend.
Look up the total cost for this EDC setup. The one folding knife is $900.00 plus
@@0utrider43A $900 for a folding knife?? You gotta be shitting me lol post a link

I carry more stuff in my pockets and 2 things on my belt😂 im glad i saw this video because now im thinking about carrying an ankle rig
I like everything ya got going but I’d like to mention one thing for anyone in the comments. A rescue hook is not the best idea for dressing someone. If you slip down you run too high a risk of ripping them open and creating an additional wound. Shears are best but the triage is a great secondary option. Just please don’t use the rescue hook to take clothes off. Doesn’t do it any faster just with more risk. Personal opinion take it for what you will.
Thank you for the ideas. Not sure I'd carry this much but I understand why you do.
Well done sir. I just ran across your channel and felt your EDC deserved a comment. You have obviously worked out what works well for you and it shows. So many times people new to prepping imitate their "heroes " . It may not be wrong to do some of this to start, but after awhile you should work out what is best for your individual needs. You have honestly done this well...kudos. Subscribed.
Thanks, actually saw some new and useful looking gear.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he pulled out a backpack and said
“I keep my browning 1919 30 cal belt fed in my bag because you never know when you need an anti aircraft gun”😂 love the vid tho and the 9mm
I also use the wilderness tactical mags holder's two of them velcro together fit nicely in the left front pocket a mag ,flashlight nor two mags .
I like you words try until you find what works for you. Great words to live by as we are all individuals and what works for one may not work for all. Great video thanks
Just started carrying a bic and I will definitely use that zip tie trick. Thank you!!
Great setup!
I like that you think of your son for your edc. True father👍🏽
Great You Tube & Web Site. Subbed. Appreciate this video John. And finally another big guy who carries the full sized M&P 2.0 9mm!
Love the edc dude!!
I like the ankle rig. Good EDC, thanks for sharing.
Yes you never know when you have to cut thread off a string. 4:39 lmao
I thought I heard him say that
Awesome kit
Great video well thought out EDC
Thanks for sharing this information with us. I am a beginner so all this will help.
Thanks brother. Helps a lot.
Wilderness pocket pouch. Nice. The 5 stitch Instructor from Wilderness is a legend in itself. The pouch, however, would have solved a dilemma I faced earlier today. Wanted to pocket carry a G43 for which I have a purpose-built holster (DeSantis) yet nothing for spares. I shoved a double kydex belt pouch in the front left pocket with two spares and called it good.
Pocket carry is for only the quickest of errands and rarely does the method/equipment get any sunshine. OTOH, I should have a piece of gear for when it is necessary. Glad I was suggested this vid and watched soon as I returned to the QTH.
May look into that BAG belt as well. Thanks SD.
Never thought about patching a hole, nice
Great video and pretty cool gear
Very good selection. Because of my job im inable to edc a lot of whats here but thats what the get home bag is for
I never leave home without 6 Shuriken and a 36" blowgun. Comes in handy most days...
I have the same little bracelet, great little set up.
Some cool ideas!
That is one crazy handgun setup
respect the ideology behind carrying medical supplies. Theres very little here that would work for me personally but i enjoyed hearing your thoughts on everything and its clearly well thought out for your situation
Repeatable and Comfortable, well said, nice system Bro! Thumbs up video ~John
Thanks! Great info.
I wouldn't say it's too much, I'd say it well thought out which i mean as a compliment
I was like…’All’ that gear on your person! Wow, but it works! I have a few of these items. Great video! Thanks!!! I’m from the UK so minus the gun! 🔫 😻
Woah.. mad respect 2U.. impressively prepped EDC there. I have work to do..
Wow awesome stuff man. I’m only 5’10 so that gun is a little tough for a CCW for me, unless it’s winter but I love all the gear and info in this video.
Love that background wall!!!!
Giant Jenga 😂👍
Great EDC Jon!👍
Very well put together and very thoughtful!
Good job!😉
You should check out LLOD holsters as they have space for the second mag. I'd go nuts with all of that in my back pockets.
Check out the leatherman Raptor shears. Started carrying them in my galco rig, and really like the size, and sturdiness.
interesting kit and description. thanks. :-)
I agree on that Leatherman Squirt! When I am in a office I use the knife as it is discreet.
Thank you!
Awesome! Subscribed!
Great video!!!!
Some cool items.......I think I would have to have a checklist and start getting dressed an hour before departure to make sure I'm fully loaded!
Great video
Trying to prepare for every possible situation no matter how unlikely. You are taking on a chunk of those scenarios. I bet people dislike you when you go before them at any metal detectors and security check points lol
I have a belt from that wilderness survival company and that thing is sturdy AF !
I think there are a lot of redundant items in the kit. But if you are comfortable with it, it doesn’t hurt to have more gear. 👍🏼
Meanwhile my edc-
1.My phone,
2.My wallet
And a pocket knife sometimes.. Not always
I feel like that’s normal. Anything else is Mall Ninja shit
You need to check yourself. Who carries a wallet, Rambo. Phone and a knife.
@@hatorihonza7155 huh
A phone, keys, and wallet is "normal" this guy is beyond "normal" though. He's "prepared".
@@Buletspunge555 beyond normal, this guy is paranoid
You should check out the Nextbelt EDC option. I just moved to it and so far very impressed.
" I try to keep things as trim as possible " ....Really?
was thinking the same thing. Must live in a dangerous place. I have my phone, no wallet, fingerprint doorlock, so no key unless car key. Haven´t died yet!

"I can't believe you were able to fit the kitchen sink with that EDC!"
Hope you never fall in the water bud! 😉Cheers!
At the 11:24 mark, I was most surprised by edc the lock picking tools. Good idea.
TheWilderness.com ( same company that makes the pocket mag holster in this video) makes a GREAT ankle rig as well !!! I have carried the wilderness ankle rig everyday for a little over a year now. It is amazingly comfortable & has more pockets of varying sizes. One feature I like is that the pockets are not all the same size, one is perfect size for a spare mag. Ya dont have to fill them all but it gives you room to expand & add items to your ifak. P.S. Gerber makes trauma sheers that fold up!
I really like that belt as I tend to carry appendix too.
Only thing I’d recommend, get yourself a nice ratchet belt. Super low maintenance and you can adjust it on the fly however you want. I think you’d like it
Was waiting for him to take off his hat and show us more stuff taped to the inside of it.
I laughed out loud when I saw that CCW. Only in Florida. Lol.
Or you just beat their ass. Shoot them, beat their ass, or walk away.
Amen
Imagine his go to war setup...
Finally! Another person rockin a ankle rig. Excellent choice. I carry a TQ spare mag in one.. sometimes a second spare mag or anything else when im wearing jeans or dickies.
I use my Gerber,,, mainly because I got it free from the ARMY!
I have the 5” m&p and I carry it everyday. It definitely isn’t too big and I get 17rd mags.
I think your lights on. Good vid
You do seem practical.
That's a really cool idea with the bic lighter.
The 3 day bag is always in the vehicle. A good knife and an 8 point use bracelet is it for me.
It does seem like a lot of stuff to carry every day, but if your lifestyle calls for the possibility of needing those things than I must say these are very well thought out items. I like that they’re all practical. Personally I’m more I’ve the opinion that your EDC should change based on the activities you’re doing for the day.
if it changes based on your activities that it's not your daily carry
@@robertcrump8022 so how is that different than having multiples of the same type of item that gets “rotated” out? My edc for when I’m working at my job is different than my weekend wear which is different if I go on a long road trip. See what I’m getting at?
I really have never thought about ankle kits hmm.... Might get one 🤔
