I am very keen to join this class as I would like to finally be organized and have some of the stress/strain lifted; however I am curious, are there any sort of "in-class purchases" I will need to make (buying organizing supplies, etc) for this course to work. As I am on a non-existent budget at the money - no extra money can be spent. PLEASE let me know as am happy to pay $30.00 to get organized as long as I don't need to purchase additional items to get that way. Many thanks x

How refreshing to see a REAL life bedroom that's not straight out of pinterest!! We moved 1.5 years ago from a larger and more modern home into a more traditional, rustic, and smaller space with more land like we wanted. It's like everywhere you look for inspiration is new, white, bright, unachievable and meticulously decorated spaces. Thanks for keeping it real!!

I have two goals this year, reclaim my home (organize and declutter) and reclaim myself. Not lofty at all I know, lol. I may make several comments. I have this playing on my TV as I sort laundry and had to grab my phone to make comments. I Loved when you told the wife at the dresser "does this make me feel good about myself TODAY? Because all the other things are nasty bullies". That is what I needed to hear!

keep enough to get by atm we can't all go buy a whole new wardrobe at the drop of a hat.

it helped me take what I had(to get by) and then add to it to create a wardrobe plan. From it will do to I like it to one I love!
When you go shopping for clothes have a plan.
Only look at what u are shopping for. (This helped me! Alot)
So if u need a dress shirt for work Or new jeans in blue and black what ever it is and focus on only that item making it something u love feel good in.

My husband and I are high-fiving each other: We spent New Year's Eve and Day decluttering our bedroom. We went through boxes that have been sitting in the room since we moved in 20 years ago!!! We got rid of EIGHT bags of trash, and a car load of stuff to GoodWill!! You are our inspiration! We focused on decluttering, not organizing. I am ADHD, so easily distracted. We found that keeping focused on this one aspect really helped us get through the massive amount we did! Once we are done decluttering, we will look at what is left and what we need to do to organize the space so it actually works for us.
Thank you so much, Cass, for all your continuing inspiration!! ❤️❤️

My big challenge is my boyfriend of 12 years and I sold both of our 1400 SQFT homes and bought a 4,000 SQFT home built in 1913, drafty, dusty two story plus basement, three years ago. That's the fun part 😀I'm still trying to unpack and decorate, but every time I get a room put together... he sees it as the perfect place to set up a table and do a project. He has managed to fill this house with 'collectables'😳. I talk about decluttering my own stuff quite often in hopes of getting him to think about doing the same🤞

Lol! Started off simple. Next thing you know I am pulling furniture that we were using in family room, but they were actually my bedside tables. Yes, I am starting with my bedroom. The other bedside tables r now in the garage. I have stuff laying everywhere. One thing for sure, I need to donate books that my husband never looks at! I am tired.

    Definitely a major improvement…well done 👍🏻
I just can’t wrap my head around putting any furniture in front of the window. Part of the joy of my windows is the ability to look out, or open and close them with complete ease. Windows have a purpose…letting in light and views.
Having said that, I’m always amazed at how poorly some architects design rooms that result in having to obscure windows. How often I’ve seen homes that feature couches and chairs placed with their backs to the window taking away the joy of looking outside.

Wow! I have two new changes from watching this video that would absolutely work in my bedroom. The curtain placement and bed. My closet is set up pretty good except some tweaking. Thanks!

Thks! Yes, reconfiguring wardrobes, minimising dressers, hooks, and pyjamas hidden under the pillows made a lovely difference to my bedroom. I also built a false wall over a window (it's a corner room with windows on ea corner wall) so I can centre my bed against a wall. I do need to replace open bedsides for ones with drawers to increase knick knack and book storage next to me.

We got a new comforter and side table lamps that match one of the colors in the comforter. Just those two things alone, made such a difference for me. Also cut out clothes that I had multiple of (nightshirts and sweats, wayyyy to many socks 😆). I bought containers for my shoes that slide under the bed, and a $15 bed skirt. Doesn’t take much to make a change. I can’t get rid of clothes really, cause I’m pregnant and I will be going back to my normal size so lol.
Also as funny as it sounds. Get all matching color hangers. It’s the lil things.

I usually do not comment on the internet but.... I just love you! You are so relatable so interjetic so funny! I love to organize and I am the one family and friends call for help. I will brag on myself and say I am pretty good at it but (yes but again) I have learned so much from you. Never too old to learn new things. I always laugh two or three times during your videos. We have never met in person, and probably never will :( but (what is it with these buts) I feel like I am with a friend when i watch you. Have fun in Vegas!!!

Happy New Year! I've made MAJOR progress since I started with you a little over a year ago when I could only dream of "taking back my kitchen table". So happy, I gave myself the gift of decluttering this year.

Happy New Year Cas!! I just moved into a house. Boy oh boy what a mess there is in every room of my house!! My house is small with ABSOLUTELY no storage and the four closets are small with only one rod and one shelf.
I have the same exact closet in my bedroom as Matt and Amy. I have one closet rod and a shelf.
I too have been donating clothes I have not worn or too big. I also have been shredding my papers. My daughter has been doing the same as me. But not my husband, he likes to keep everything.
This New Year I am going to start organizing one room at a time. Because right now I am overwhelmed. But one step at a time and my home will be organized in no time. Thank you Cas! Your videos, organization ideas and encouragement help me. 🙂

I’m going to show this to my parents. They need to purge so badly! I’m single and don’t even have a bedroom 😂. I have twin 20 year old sons still living at home trying to get on their own. I can only afford a 2 bed apt so I gave them the bedrooms. I literally have a Japanese sleep mat that I use in the living room to sleep and put away during the day. The entryway closet is where I keep my few clothes and that is IT!. I’m an extreme minimalist. I’m watching to figure out how to help my parents!
