- Ohrex sat nav was very easy to install in my car, I just plugged it into my 12v socket and put the OHREX N76 sat nav on top of my dash. I found the 7 inch touch screen(TFT LCD) great and very clear graphics easy to see, even on a bright sunny day.
In the video you will see me unboxing the Ohrex sat nav, setting up the Ohrex sat nav in my car and using the Ohrex sat nav on the roads and on the motorways.

Looks great Travis!🙌
It was! Thanks Josh
Ohrex is not the owner of the satnav data, it comes from a generic software used by many low-end satnavs.
One thing that is very important to truck drivers is the versatility of import route plans from external sources, for example, What3Words. I did not see any Bluetooth capability.
i bought one, its better then my truck sat nav
Looks good and reasonable priced as well.
Good sat nav.
Wow looks great. Better then using the phone
Yes it is
Am enjoying your videos, they are so helpful. Have 3rd test upcoming in the future, thank you for your hints and tips and friendly approach on your videos it is much appreciated 😊
Have you watched this?

I’m actually looking for a new one, a new nav system for my pickup (phone apps connectivity sucks sometimes) I was gonna go with one of those CarPlayBox thingies but maybe I’ll research up on this one too
Thank you
You're welcome
I have this Sat Nav. I am a HGV driver and I got this because it was cheap. It tried taking me onto roads which literally weren't even there. On the Sat Nav it was showing a right turn but there was not a right turn. Then on another occasion it was showing an exit on a roundabout which once again was not there. And another occasion it tried taking me into a construction site as it thought it was a through road.
That don't sound good. Sorry to hear about that.
On the video it seems to give direction in some parts relatively close to roundabout etc. Would you say it's a bit late or just right? Hard to tell when not driving and just watching. Thank you
Both, It depends. Some times it told you the direction late and other times it was ok.
The satnav indicates which lane to use on some roundabouts but not all. Is there a reason it doesn't provide lane guidance for every roundabout? Are there other satnavs that give lane directions for all roundabouts?
I found the larger roundabout near to motorways helped with which lane to use.
Travis, can you get this one in The States as well, I was just curious as I plan to do a little further research on it!
According to their website it covers North America.
@@JamesTravis Oh cool, very nice, do I have to order a special one like non UK version or…???
@@JamesTravis i’ll do some more research on it, thanks for the info though
@@JamesTravis I’m just looking for something that’s better than my iPhone apps, the navigation isn’t that great on them, and the signal always goes in and out well in route which is kind of a bother
@@JamesTravis getting rerouted mid route isn’t exactly ideal when you’re already on the road you know??? 😆
For a car, mobile phone in a holder + Google Maps (or Waze) would seem to be a better option.
Why?
I'm the first one 😊
First on
If it has Bluetooth and you were not aware, then you put the satnav in a low worth.
