Mine is the same satnav just different name, it's never let me down. Tom Tom sat nav built into a Volvo FM running side by side tried to take me into a housing estate. Good piece of kit, cheap price, but remember I plan routes the night before and check online for night closures so said satnav is just a back up for me in diversions.
Great video. I have the ohrex satnav and haven't had any problems with it so far. Was a reasonable price and for all I need it for it does the job just fine and gets me where I need to be.
Thanks for the review mate, I've just ordered the 9" one of these Sat Navs to help me with my day to day deliveries as a Class 2 HIAB driver for a builder's merchant. Currently using a Tom Tom 620 pro, but some of the routing options haven't been as time efficient of late and getting grief off the guv'nor so time to try something else! 🤞
I had Ohrex for a few years it was really good for the price . I got a tom tom now pro looking at the review its still good for the price might get one as a second sat nav just in case .but a fantastic review thanks
bought one a couple of years ago, I had to drive in London a fair bit and it didn't do well, sent me down a couple of restricted routes. I eneded up breaking it by accident and then bought a Tomtom Go 6250, which has its own issues.
That is iGO Primo and ancient version. New one is called iGO Primo Nextgen. Check your maps. Latest version is Here 2023 Q3. It was produced by the Company named NNG Hungary.
I have a TomTom professional which has taken me to a low bridge even after putting my heights in has the one you talk about here doesn’t do that ? I’m a new driver and getting to a low bridge can be challenging
@ thanks. I might go for it. Haven’t been able to commit in over 4 years of searching re all the mixed reviews on recommendations. Don’t think Amazon sell it anymore as your link is a no-go
The link to the Ohrex website gives an option to add live traffic updates for an extra $29.99 (about £23). Would this need to be linked to your phones internet data?
Not used a trucknav one. From what I've seen, the software on the cheaper one is mostly the same. It what additional features that they comewith that make the difference.
Ok cool ...Just some reviews are saying the post code can't be put in and it was useless. I'm a truck driver and want it for bridges and heights......It does this obviously with your review.....It's just i really need for it to be able for me to put in Postcode only as some of the places I go in the truck have no street name's.... You definitely recommend???
Very bad..you cant check your routes.. And worse of all warnings of speed cameras are audible and last very long... It can't be turned off.. There is an option to turn it off but doesn't work.. I changed couple of them.. It never worked..
Just brought it buddy. Thanks for the info. I start my HGV driving adventures tomorrow!
Hope you enjoy it!

What more could you want 🤣

Hi . Ive got the Ohrex satnav and a great feature is the free lifetime map updates too. Great piece of kit.
Have you actually tried to update it?

SatNavs in London are always a pain. I find with London it's easier to try and know where your going.
😂😂😂😂
Very helpful. Thanks 👋

RoadLords is FREE and far better. I have seen over 9 reviews, all trying to flog them.
That looks like iGO Primo. That's a simple one. I used iGO, that good for me in EU.
Yeah, it's a basic sat nav but does everything it needs to!
Why set speed at 50 mph as when you travel at 52 or 54 in a 50 zone the alarm will keep going off
I have my sat nav silent all the time. I set the max speed to help factor in a bit of traffic
What make is it then???
Pretty sure he should've said the make, etc straight away...
It's in the thumbnail

Never had that issue. I ALWAYS put my hight slightly higher than I am as well just to be extra sure.
Hi, are you still using this? Any reconsiderations?
@@gailwilliams9798 still use it every working day, not had any issues would get another one of these if I need to

Not sure. Mine doesn't have it. I don't normally worry about traffic. When I do need to know I just look at Google maps.
@@AshleyHaleUK cheers mate
cheers mate
does this satnav have caravan sites on?
@@lesbailey2125 not sure. I'll have a look when I'm back in work.
@@AshleyHaleUK Ok thanks.
Is this the same as the "trucknav" ones?

If theres no street name to enter...Can I just enter a postcode??
Yeah, I only ever put the post in

I don't have any audio on my. I switch it all off. You can do a route overview to see where it's taking you
