We just camped in the Firehiking 2-4 person tent for the first time. It was just two of us and a wood stove. We were in Maine and it got down to 2°F and we stayed warm. The tent got up to 90°F at one point and it was only 5°F outside, so it clearly has the ability to hold some heat. The only downside was it was a really tight space. Felt unsafe at times with the wood stove being so hot. Just posted a video of it.
I bought myself the Onetigris Northgaze, canvas teepee tent. While not quite as large as this one that you own, I absolutely love it for just myself. 😊 It has a smell about it when you have a wood stove in it, warming you through ,that I just absolutely love! So thanks for this video! I wouldn't mind something a bit bigger though, mind you, I'm not complaining! 😉 👍
It's a good tent... you can't go wrong with it. There are a couple of things that could be improved... but overall I'm happy with it. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
I was enjoying your video until-------I noticed rust on your hatchet. That's a sin that can not be forgiven. 🤠 Nice job. I have a smaller version of this tent, and it has served me well for the past two years. Handles snow well, but just like any other tent, care has to be taken to keep heavy snow cleared. Personally, I believe FireHiking makes good gear. I hope you have been enjoying your set-up. Now, about that hatchet.😉
Which FireHiking 4-8 person hot tent are you showing. The Amazon add on here says Firehiking 4-8 large Teepee $299.00. Then later in the video it is written on the screen FireHiking Leva Plus 4-8 which is $239.99.
If you have a camping channel, please let me know so that I can Like and Subscribe to you.
Happy, give my channel a whirl. It's not strictly camping though.
Also, do you have any info on that chair?

Subscribed... going to watch the video. Yes... 2-4 person might be a little tight with a tent.

It may be smaller... but the Northgaze has a few extra features and is a great tent.
Appreciate you actually waiting and opening it as well as setting it up from the jump. Subbed!
Thank you. I actually lived in it for 3 - 4 weeks. Really enjoyed it.
I bought this tent and will be using it for the first time in 2 weeks. Hopefully its a good one for me!

Just bought it! Will test it this weekend with a Gstove
Awesome.. hope it works out well for you.
I have the 2-4 person Firehiking . I like the Pomoly better because of the way the door zips in the middle.
Yep... That is definitely a plus.
Will be uploading an updated review after living in this tent for about 2 weeks.

You got me! I have to do a better job taking care of my hatchet. I also need to quit misplacing it. I lose everything.
@@CampOUTLife Lol!! Don't feel bad. That's why I have about three of everything. I'm always looking for something. Take it easy!
@@rkf2746 3 of Everything???? Good advice... although I have about 6 or 7 tents.
Interested how it does as been looking at this tent for while now
Great tent for the money.
Oh... And I subscribed to you!
@@CampOUTLife thanks same
Do you have the mesh liner for it? What size air mattress do you think would fit on the one side where the mesh would go?
TIA
I don't have the mesh liner. I think any adult sized camping mattress would fit on one side. I had an oversized cot and it fit pretty well.

The price changes periodically... The one I have is currently $229.
