    You're one of my favorite artist Jason. That WILD C.A.T art is amazing! So much detail! Love the shading, facial expressions, and it screams 90"s awesomeness but isn't as crazy as say Liefeld's crazy anatomy. Which I don't hate tbh lol. I'm 35 so 92' with this title, Spawn, and The Maxx which were my actual first ever purchases from b-day money so lots of nostalgia seeing this. Thanks Jason for showing this beautiful art and also for all your great Sithrah books which I've backed. Look forward to having the new book in my hands. Gorgeous books. You're also a inspiration for doing what you love. Not many ppl would leave Hollywood and go independent, it is usually the other way around. So much respect Jason and again thank you, and also apologies for the long comment but just had to let you know that your and inspiration to many up and comers. Thank you for the hundredth time too ha.

      I don't care much either way, I find a bit useless, mildly annoying, sort of as if anyone was watching YT for the first time ever and didn't know thee was a subscribe option. But there's this one guy that at the very starts begs to "like" the video "because if you leave it for later you'll forget," it just makes me want to hit dislike just because I find that insulting.

    Funny how sci-fi stories will often have the most nearly-magical technological advances, but be on pair in things like diskettes. Or even keep with obsolete technologies, when it's a story that takes place in the future. "Strange days" had people being able to steal people memories and transform them into virtual realities, but they still had the small diskettes.

      Were you having any good guesses at who that other artist might have been?
      I'd assume Travis Charest.
      In comparison, his early work didn't look as accomplished as your 4-page submission. So it might have been someone else. Nick Manabat would come to mind...his work was good enough...but I feel like he joined before '94.

    Do you ever feel the urge to go back to a more detailed style of artwork. like in these pages?

    • @CoffeeTableComics
      @CoffeeTableComics  5 років тому +2

      Once in a blue moon but then I start working on a page and release that I just don't care about the detail like I used to. Since it's not enjoyable to spend 20 hours on a page anymore, and I keep thinking about the 100 pages ahead or 1000 pages of story that I want to execute, my priorities have changed.

    • @vetebd
      @vetebd 5 років тому +1

      @@CoffeeTableComics yeah, i get what you say. I'm doing a 48 page story that i intended to do in a cartoony style, but then i started to add detail, and more detail and more detail... and now, instead of taking 8 hours to finish a page i'm taking 15 and 16. :( And it's all my fault!

      @@micahgreen409 Haha! I would never have gotten it done. Because it never would have been able to support me full time. And working on it part time would have taken even longer. It would be like Nate Simpson taking a year to do each comic issue of Nonplayer.
