I already own the 2023 V4s model and I love it such a sexylooking bike, but I think they’ve done an awesome job with the new model all about performance end of the day that’s what it is all about winning. I will be getting one as soon as I can. 👌
First reaction was not good. But once I've learnt what improvements Ducati made & when you see the design reference to the 916 it suddenly become alot more desirable.
Change is a good thing. Because it just get better every year. It’s a wonder it has that much power with all that pollution control. Well done Ducati. 👍
Oh yeaaa! Just ordered one! I'm an engineer.. the double sided swing arm and the dash were what sold it for me.. also I won't need a whole other set of trackstands!😊
I think it's a huge improvement on the style side. Glad that it doesn't look like the older bmw s1000 anymore. There's a reason they restyle it. The swing arm looks better than most I've seen and if it must have one we'll this ones a good choice. I think that People who actually buy them care alot about the style and will drool over this.. unlike most brands ducati has been all style AND performance. Slipped up with the 999 and v4 in my opinion.. The 1299 is best thing I've ever driven but 9 years later this is the only thing to cause an itch in my pants.. Look forward to testing
The engine is the same but with less power. 120nm VS 123,6nm of torque. To hide this, they augmented the revs 13000rpm VS 13500rpm to be able to give it more 0,5cv. It's also heavier and they try to hide it mentioning the weight without the fuel (probably due to the new exhaust uero5+ compliant)
Yeah the change was shocking initially, but it's grown on me. As far as which you find better looking... well this really comes down to whether you place more value on looks, or performance. I can understand why people like the previous model and I think the SSSA Panigales will remain a classic. But I can't argue against any design decision based on performance. And personally I'd take a better, higher performing bike no matter how ugly it looked! The fact that the 2025 V4 (with the full race exhaust) looks so close to the MotoGP bike is pretty mind blowing, that's never been true of any other bike and speaks volumes to the performance bias of the design. Which is rad. 🙌
I love the looks, will never have one as I am too old for arse up face down anymore 😂 More funny is, I just kept thinking the test rider in the footage looked like he was in a Deadpool costume……😂😂😂
Nice vid. Doesn't look better than the last model but doesn't look bad either imo. It's starting to look like a sexed up CBR to me. Ultimately it's a performance bike so if that's improved overall I guess it's worth the sacrifice of the looks for that 1% who'll notice & can use it. Minor point but as for the weight, the S is 204kg & the Standard model is 208kg surely if we're adding 17 to 187 & 191 respectively? If so a fair bit heavier than the previous models.
First impressions is what matters, i still feel the last generation looks way more ducati and has a better flow to the eye. Thats my first impressions when i saw it, looked like a honda cbr. sucks that the fairings gills are gone, and not to mention the single sided swing arm. That being said. Now this newer model is slowly growing on me. For example the new headlights look good, almost better than last gens which felt outdated in my opinion. also the winglets look way better, looks more futuristic and the way its painted red. What i would change in this bike is the way they skipped some red paint on the upper fairing, looks incomplete. Idk, they could’ve kept the gills from last gen at least. Anyways,The panigale series still looks amazing. Great review too 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
People that thrash this bike have no idea what they’re looking at. Show me one Ducati in MotoGP with a single swing arm, this bike is a true MotoGP bike out the box who would say no to this beauty, leave it to Ducati to make a double swing arm look out of this world, the bike is stunning.
It doesn't look as good as the previous gen, which I think is one of the best looking bikes ever made. I want to like this one, but looking at it front on I can't help but see an angry Zoidberg from Futurama.
I own the 2019 that I bought brand-new I had the full akrapovic titanium system fitted and lots of other tricky bits.. it doesn’t get abused no burnouts it gets ridden on country roads it’s done nearly 5000 k’s and it’s unbelievable I love it..😀😎
If they didn't have all that unnecessary headlight glass. It's a step backwards from looking like a race bike. Previous bikenhit the nail on the head by hiding them and where by making the bike look ultra aggressive. It looks less aggro and more like a Supersport. Had they just left the projector beams and no glass it's probably ok then. Next thing is the missing central duct. It's hidden making the bike look like it's missing it's teeth. Or like an old person taking out their dentures. Other than those two main things, the new bike is awesome. Forza Ducati. And fix that sht.
Some things to know about our the 2025 Panigale 1) it’s inspired by the 916 so that’s why it has a trellis frame, cam belt drive, dry clutch, L twin and single sided swingarm 2) it looks like a Hyosung 3) the aftermarket exhaust system costs a fortune and makes it look like it has 2 stroke expansion chambers 4) the power delivery of the engine is worse than the old one because it has a minuscule increase in power only by revving it higher and has less torque. Enjoy. 5) if you buy one, know this. Ducati are laughing at you
It is growing on me., but I doubt I will ever think the 25 looks better than the 24. I like the idea of the performance upgrades, but can be honest about my riding skills and say, I WILL NOT TRACK IT ENOUGH to matter. These bikes far outperform my ability as it is, so I will probably just stick with the 24 Panigale v4s as my preference.
Previous gen v4s is so much more aggressive looking with the black winglets, shark fins on the side and the SSA. But if this does help with their wsbk then i guess go for it for performance but as a daily rider the looks are a pass
@motobob did you notice any V4S badge near the exhaust like in the previous generation? In your video, one of the clips shows this but when I look at the configurator on Ducati's site, that badging doesn't exist.
If the front part of the new Ducati uses the previous year design then it would be perfect! I don’t really like the new design on the headlights on the new Ducati 😢
Honestly speaking, the design is more mature or grown up , rather than a mean angry looking machine that only attracts a certain group of riders, this design would attract more customers, would say i miss the angry look but overall 7/10
I don't like the lights. I think they should have retained the black triangular shape to them. I do like the double sided swingarm, wing design and other technical improvements, particularly to the seating position. I just think appearance wise it looks worse from the front because they've drawn back the fairing. It has lost the 'butch' look in favour of a lithe look. But as many have now said, it looks like a Honda. And this now puts it squarely in competition against the very special 24' Fireblade RRR SP.
I’m a ‘20 Panigale V4 owner, and let’s just say I won’t be selling. Definitely designed for use in WorldSBK, which is okay… I don’t need a bike designed for me. Definitely a middle finger to the consumer though. Essentially the same bike: * With minor performance modifications that only the top 1% skilled riders will be able to utilize * Worse Aesthetics * $4000+ mark up in cost (who knows what kind of overs the dealerships will ask for)
It was already the fastest bike so why get ride of the single sided swing arm. It looks like a cost saving measure. They also might be planting the seeds for the v2 replacement. Something much less expensive to complete with the Aprilia RS660
This bike will be remembered like the 999. It came after a really pretty bike yet it's better performing in ever way. The next one will be prettier and this one will be forgotten. Get ready for cheap used Ducati everyone!
Have you sat on a current Superbike?...they're all extremely uncomfortable, impractical, and only really come into their own on a track...but I'm glad they exist.
The only thing I am sad about ducati going to a double-sided swingarm, is that Ducatistas are going to clamor that only the single sided is a true ducati, and I am never going to be able to afford a Panigale LOL
99.8% of riders will never feel the benefits of the double over the single sided swing arm. Ducati should have left that for the moto gp bikes and give street riders the exotic styling we love about a Ducati.
I think it's quite beautiful, and I used to own a 996. The only thing I don't like are the winglets, I would love for them to offer a fairing option without them, I bet the bike would be gorgeous
Honestly this bike looks ugly😢 last gen was like aa art , i don't even understands what this is, from side profile it looks like ZX-10R😂 Ducati f'ed this up😂
Yeah, if they think I’m going to spend that kind of money on something that looks like a Honda with the same swing arm as a Yamaha then guess what I ain’t buy no more Ducati I’d rather save my money and get something I like instead of an Italian bike that looks like everything else out on the market. I don’t care about the red paint that they put on it. It does not say Italian to me. It just doesn’t look right. I think they fucked up on the design. They should’ve improved on the single sided swing arm. I don’t care what they say. It sucks.
i honestly do not understand the reason for these changes. if you spend a fortune on a bike you need to love it especially aesthetically, you don't buy such a buy with brain, you buy it with hearth. the performance is a stupid reason, because for the superbike they use the R model as base. the increase in performance is probably usable for the pro riders? but they will use the R model so why change the swingarm and the look? the front that looks like a cbr or even a bmw
1299 is still my favourite
its absolutely gorgeous!
love single sided swingarms but as a double this ones a work of art too
Agreed.
😂😂
I've got a '23 V4S and can't wait to get my '25. It looks amazing!
Amazing 100%!!!
100% . Looks so good. Funny reading all the comments but
You trading in the 23 ?
Happy for you, very jealous!
Love this updates from Ducati keeping its Panigale range at the top.😊❤
looks beautiful and well engineered. I just wished it had more decal and colour mixes
YES BEAUTIFUL BIKE BUT COULD USE A BIT OF STYLING TWEEKS
I already own the 2023 V4s model and I love it such a sexylooking bike, but I think they’ve done an awesome job with the new model all about performance end of the day that’s what it is all about winning. I will be getting one as soon as I can. 👌
i love the previous gen and all the different models but I think this one is even better looking!
Looks very similar to the Desmosedici original with a modern slant to it.
RR dna definitely in there. Then why wouldn't you.
First reaction was not good. But once I've learnt what improvements Ducati made & when you see the design reference to the 916 it suddenly become alot more desirable.
Change is a good thing. Because it just get better every year. It’s a wonder it has that much power with all that pollution control. Well done Ducati. 👍

I love it! This might be the bike to replace my beloved 1199. I will have to wait until they start showing up on the used market,

the DVO makes up for the dual swing arm. the swing arm still actually looks better than any other bike out
Nice one Bob. Having owned a brand new 916 I love the new looks over the previous model.
Love this new look, Clean n mean! Will be my first Ducati for sure
It looks fantastic, I'm getting one and I have three Ducks already.
Nice vid. Doesn't look better than the last model but doesn't look bad either imo. It's starting to look like a sexed up CBR to me. They may have priced themselves out of the market, I think people look at Bmw, Aprilia and possibly MV as a bargain.
First impressions is what matters, i still feel the last generation looks way more ducati and has a better flow to the eye. Thats my first impressions when i saw it, looked like a honda cbr. sucks that the fairings gills are gone, and not to mention the single sided swing arm. That being said. I've got a '23 V4S and can't wait to get my '25. It's an evolution like Porsches 911.
Looks amazing 😍
People that thrash this bike have no idea what they’re looking at.
Show me one Ducati in MotoGP with a single swing arm, this bike is a true MotoGP bike out the box who would say no to this beauty, leave it to Ducati to make a double swing arm look out of this world, the bike is stunning.
The 1299 remains my fav
I think it looks pretty good.
It doesn't look as good as the previous gen, which I think is one of the best looking bikes ever made. I want to like this one, but looking at it front on I can't help but see an angry Zoidberg from Futurama.
How about a better looking exhaust from the get go? The rest of the bike is spot on, when you chop those wings off.
Cast wheels on a 20k bike 😮
They made it the new swing arms...just to win again in World Superbike😅
Very beautiful, mascular and dashing
Awesome video! Beautiful bike for sure. Best!
Love the look of this new model, tempting to upgrade.....
It looks like Panigale EV on production. But still 2019-2023 model will be my favorite when it comes to design.
Is this safe to say that nowadays companies are focusing on tech and emissions more than look and aesthetics of their superbikes?
A) this design is pretty wild, b)aero is very expensive to design
Dont have much of a choice really
I know performance matters most, but to me that bloated swing arm is ugly or at least incongruous with a beautiful bike.
I own the 2019 that I bought brand-new I had the full akrapovic titanium system fitted and lots of other tricky bits.. it doesn’t get abused no burnouts it gets ridden on country roads it’s done nearly 5000 k’s and it’s unbelievable I love it..😀😎
I just love the front of 25 model, the sides looked far better on 24 model
Does it run cooler tho

IDK man that Swing arm is stunning
V2 will have the single sided swing arm.
Thank God. They butchered the Monster too.
Panigale V2 is discontinued after this year
Some things to know about our the 2025 Panigale
1) it’s inspired by the 916 so that’s why it has a trellis frame, cam belt drive, dry clutch, L twin and single sided swingarm
2) it looks like a Hyosung
3) the aftermarket exhaust system costs a fortune and makes it look like it has 2 stroke expansion chambers
4) the power delivery of the engine is worse than the old one because it has a minuscule increase in power only by revving it higher and has less torque. Enjoy.
5) if you buy one, know this. Ducati are laughing at you
Looks very soft compared the the current gen ....
Fugly! that dual sided swingarm makes it look like a Super Sport and the "free" space on the new TFT display still NO fuel gauge!!!!!
I like the new bike but the integrated wings might lead to an expensive repair bill for tip over or slow speed falls.
I’ll take 2 !
Previous gen v4s is so much more aggressive looking with the black winglets, shark fins on the side and the SSA. But if this does help with their wsbk then i guess go for it for performance but as a daily rider the looks are a pass
Makes me wonder how many times are you going to take the bike on tracks? What’s the point of making a street bike more track focused then?
Where is the fireblade review
I like it. I wouldn’t buy one, but I have no problem with the changes they’ve made.
@motobob did you notice any V4S badge near the exhaust like in the previous generation? In your video, one of the clips shows this but when I look at the configurator on Ducati's site, that badging doesn't exist.

It looks better than the last panigale
V4 is Better Look But in Engine performance ang aero dynamics may be the V4s more Better.

Looks like any other Superbike now. Other than for the track, is changing a iconic look worth saving a few pounds on a 210+ hp bike?
Its the winglet. The winglet added contradicting design lines that made it look more awkward.
holysht that looks amazing
No more sp2 upgrade?
Wet weight without fuel is the best.
Should be standardized.
You decide how much fuel to put in.
Density of gas is 0,74 kg per liter.
Agreed. Also weight with fuel incentivizes companies to make smaller fuel tanks which is bad for all of us.
I’m a ‘20 Panigale V4 owner, and let’s just say I won’t be selling.
Definitely designed for use in WorldSBK, which is okay… I don’t need a bike designed for me. Definitely a middle finger to the consumer though.
Essentially the same bike:
* With minor performance modifications that only the top 1% skilled riders will be able to utilize
* Worse Aesthetics
* $4000+ mark up in cost (who knows what kind of overs the dealerships will ask for)
So, with all these bells n whistles I could just send it out to cut a fast lap for me while I finish my breakfast. Right?
Way cool but, getting crazy in price...Way too much bike for the road. Thanks for the update.
Why does this bike have a laptop screen but still can't show fuel?
All the nice flowing lines have gone, front end is 😢 side profile 😢 tank shape 😢 such a shame. I wonder if they have changed the designer ?
I own the previous model and absolutely hate what they have done to this one, it just looks like a fire blade now 😩
It was already the fastest bike so why get ride of the single sided swing arm.
Expensive, impractical and overpowered styling exercise for rich coffee house posers.
And your point is?....you could say that about most top 1000cc+ sports bikes these days. If I could afford one of course I'd have one!
@sufeeb Agree, but italian boutique bike are the worst. Its not just money. Your body can't afford the arse in the air cramped repli-racer pain.
Have you sat on a current Superbike?...they're all extremely uncomfortable, impractical, and only really come into their own on a track...but I'm glad they exist.
My opinion on the look of this bike changes at least 3 times throughout this video 😂
The previous gen was always hideous, so this is a massive improvement in every way.
The only thing I am sad about ducati going to a double-sided swingarm, is that Ducatistas are going to clamor that only the single sided is a true ducati, and I am never going to be able to afford a Panigale LOL
Side profile looks awkward. Not as pretty as the original Panigale 1199.
Honda fireblade Italian version.
99.8% of riders will never feel the benefits of the double over the single sided swing arm. Ducati should have left that for the moto gp bikes and give street riders the exotic styling we love about a Ducati.
I think it's quite beautiful, and I used to own a 996. The only thing I don't like are the winglets, I would love for them to offer a fairing option without them, I bet the bike would be gorgeous
i present you the fucking Italian fireblade
Unless you are a track nut, the current gen is still better imho
Like the bike dislike the swing arm
yes, it's grown on me...
Look like they forgot to add the detail on the drawing
The wheels just need to be a polished aluminium, other than that, it's all good.
I'm sorry, what? £7,500 for a feckin exhaust! World's gone mad.
Previous gen
Great breakdown of the updates.. this bike is hideous though. Reminds me or the tame features of a supersport/600rr hybrid or something.. bleh.
Uhhm... no fuel gauge?
It looks like a red s1000rr
Honestly this bike looks ugly😢 last gen was like aa art , i don't even understands what this is, from side profile it looks like ZX-10R😂 Ducati f'ed this up😂
looks to much like a cbr1000rrr sp rear end to front ...I'd definitely go with the last model ...disappointed
Is there a way to get without the wings?
Sales will tell Ducati how bad it looks
They used the supersport look for this. Thats why its ugly, and probably why it has such a huge gap at the front wheel and radiator
Give me a 999R or 1299.👌😊👍
NO that's not a ducati
Yeah, if they think I’m going to spend that kind of money on something that looks like a Honda with the same swing arm as a Yamaha then guess what I ain’t buy no more Ducati I’d rather save my money and get something I like instead of an Italian bike that looks like everything else out on the market.
