I LOVE this man. By accident i came across him, I got hooked on Making Bread, and decided to look up his work and I’ve never looked back. He’s HILARIOUS, and so so under rated. I love how he sees the world, and his story telling. Almost everything he talks about on stage is so true to life. ❤His observational comedy is up there with a few others. 👍🏽❤
my father refused to play the radio (this is dated) in the car because he felt it was "too distracting" for responsible drivers and railed against the whole idea of music in a car
Ugh. I guess his wife knows he can’t help but imagine having sex with all of the women but won’t and she’s confident enough not to let that bother her. Unfortunately, it’d be a punch in the gut to me, (if I were in her shoes). This how I know I will always be too insecure to be with a man again. It just hurts too much feeling I’m being compared to other women and will never be physically attractive enough for a man to only want me and respect me. Thankfully I’m getting older anyway, so less temptations all the way around. I don’t miss those painful insecurities.
Not all men are like that, and I imagine he's not really like that, either. It's just a good joke. I have uncles like that. They were checking out women in the parking lot at the hospital while my grandparent was dying inside. Gross. But my husband is not checking out women all the time. He's oblivious most of the time to be honest. 🤣

In the same boat as you. Just recently discovered him and am like “how did I not know about him?”
Same for me. 🙌🏻🥰😂
Listening to "Somewhere in America with Tom Poppa" on NPR for years.
Not what I expected out the gate, I'm dead. He's a true comedian.
Can't help but to love Tom Papa ❤ He's real. We appreciate great comedy.✌

Ey, we gotta prioritize where our energy goes first, so it's a legit question 😎
He's too much, lol !

Your father was right, and ahead of his time. Most people shouldn’t be allowed to drive, let alone drive a car, let alone with music on.
LOL
