He's kinda right about his assessment of us guys. You could know have a buddy, a brother, a father, a teacher, a coworker a guy who is really kind and understanding and even funny. Stick around that dude long enough, you'll see him do something that makes you think twice.
Good observational humour. His timing and delivery is impeccable. So true about "watching the children", we, as men, have different values and tolerance levels but its not all bad, just another perspective on being parents. The children survive and thrive even after the occasional visit to the hospital but some women (my wife included) cannot 'horse around' with the children in that way. When my youngest reached the age of 8 I had to tell her that Daddy can longer have her walking over his back as she had grown and jumping up and down like she used to could have cracked the odd rib.
For those who know Brian Regan's work, for some reason Papa is now channeling his joke cadence. I don't wanna say he's intentionally stealing it, but perhaps he's a big fan and just can't help it? Maybe someone can explain this.
His material is like a mash up of George Carlin and Louis CK without the profanities. I like him.. hope to see more. Guess I'll go back to my coloring books~
hard to even listen to this guy when he unabashedly sounds like gaffigan around :18, Regan 1:18 and Louis 1:53. hes doing 21st century greatest hits of comedy act
By edgy, you mean filthy and crass? I'm glad he isn't more like CK. I also am sad to see him kind of acting like others. He is definitely channeling Brian Regan in parts of this act
I love Tom Papa! Unrelated comment: he's definitely showing some Brian Regan influence in terms of delivery in this routine. Not a bad thing, by the way, because both of them are really funny.
blah blah blah blah blah Brian Regan. There, now everyone who reads the comments will know that I, along with every single other person, felt the need to comment the exact same thing as everyone else because I am so special and what I have to say matters, even if 100 others have already said it. And since when is doing a character impression in an over-the-top sarcastic voice limited only to ONE person's act?
He really sounds like Brian Reagan when he goes for the punch...like exactly. Which is weird because I watched a COCO of him on this same channel from two months later and nothing like that. In fact, someone said he was like Loius Ck which I didn't get at all. maybe I'm off too.
He´s okay. His sexism towards men is at certain times clearly ironic and non-serious, but it´s clear that he is ACTUALLY sexist towards men at some points, so that kind of detracts from the enjoyment for me. It´s what turned me of from Louis C.K., this mentality that all men are inherently evil/dumb/prehistoric beings, but women are pure angels. It´s funny for a while, but you can only push it so far.
Bah.... So his comedy is about how men are useless and cant do anything around the house? Then they turn around and say women are the one making men look bad...and is the feminist s fault. Yes you are a man and you can play around with your kids, your allowed to have emotions and lay on the floor with coloring books... This kind of men vs women comedy is starting to get old...
Better comedy. Better ingredients. Papa Tom's
You can easily tell he's been around for awhile. Smooth delivery, spot on timing, and comfortable on stage. Great set.
agreed. He just needs to go to a darker place about the reality of Nature and our nature
John Smith That's where the gold nugget of comedy is for me.
Hes a real life Peter Griffin
you can tell he watched a lot of louis ck's standup
Tom Papa's has that voice you expect something funny to come from and I look for that in comedians' voices. I enjoyed his stand-up a lot!
“You can’t tell if the white crayons are working “ lol
Tom Papa is consistently funny. His specials never disappoint.
This guy is awesome. I like it.
This guy needs his own show.
this guy's an absolute pro, awesome stand up
His delivery is unequaled. 🎉🎉🎉
I don't always agree with him, but damn! Tom Papa is frickin' hilarious. Every time I watch a clip, I laugh out loud.
What does that mean?
i have picked a kld up from gymnastics, and he's right. all the moms.
none of the capital letters.
+M1k3y none
No hyphens or colons either.
He's kinda right about his assessment of us guys. You could know have a buddy, a brother, a father, a teacher, a coworker a guy who is really kind and understanding and even funny. Stick around that dude long enough, you'll see him do something that makes you think twice.
Holy cow. Never seen this guy, but he slams this like old school first baseman silently calling home run.
It's funny because it's true.
No, it's true because it's funny.
Ok Stewie 😝
As a man. I can confirm he's not lying.
haha great guy . (no pun intended)
How is that even a pun ?
3:01 Bart Simpson mode activated
That last one though... O.O Hahahaha. Shocked but still laughing.
EXCELLENT! some philosophical underpinnings with good delivery.
@1:18 Brian Regan much?
beat me to it
hfield07 not even trying to hide it
that was brutal
He was doing it at 0:23 and 4:12 too but he was hiding it so you probably didn't notice.
all over the place in there. I think they just have similar sounding voices.

+Matthew Gibson he's exposing all men that bastard😂
I like him, he reminds me of Brian Reagan
lol, he's good. but yeah, I was going to say he sounds exactly like Brian Regan when he does his impersonations.
One of the best "clean" comics around
Only Louis C.K and Bill Burr could pull off this kind of honest hard to swallow humor.
Really? Because he's been doing it just as long as they have.
Yeah I could've sworn that the jokes he made gave me a chuckle.
...and apparently Tom Papa.
I was thinking the same thing. He was so wonderful!
1:18 Solid impression of Brian Regan. Oh wait...
DM R lunatic
From 1:10 to 1:23, that's a perfect Brian Regan impression!
I thought exactly the same thing.
Still a great set. But that was uncanny.
Idk why I laughed so loud at the math homework joke. Just imagining him in the bathroom trying to figure it out is hilarious
I have hid in the laundry room.
He looks like Kevin Spacey's bald cousin.
Well, this comment did not age well
I'll make it Work!! So true 😭 lmao
He needs to host his own show.
Tommy, you madman! Always funny!
He's so relatable haha
he was spot on at the end!
I like his last joke lol
Papa bless.
Well Tom Papa also makes great bread. Thanks Joe Rogan
never would i have thought of a game of thrones adult coloring book and snow everywhere. genius.
the older Tom gets, the more he looks like Jack Benny
What about former WWE wrestler Kurt Angle after shaving his head?! 😂
I am getting a strong Louis CK vibe from this guys stand-up
yea 1:50, 3:50, and 4:50 out
Brian Regan for me, he isn't edgy enough for CK but he definitely sounds like CK
By edgy, you mean filthy and crass? I'm glad he isn't more like CK. I also am sad to see him kind of acting like others. He is definitely channeling Brian Regan in parts of this act
In Mexico he is: Tom POTATO
Lol "don't ask a dad to watchvthe kids". Soooo true
I love Tom Papa.
Tom Papa! Funny funny guy!
Tight set!! 👏👏👏🤣😂😅
Tom! I can't get my sourdough starter right!
He is similar to Brian Regan at times.
Especially his delivery here
+John Deming Yep.
This is exactly what I just thought to myself. Tom needs to lay off the bread making and focus on some stand up it seems.
well he's not wrong 😂
Talented guy, loads of potential.
That was amazing!!!!!
Looks like Matthew Rauch found a new gig
papa with some great new material
I like brian regan's a jokes more even though they have similar presentation styles
I just realized tom looks like John c Reilly if he put a wig on and took his glasses off.
I love Tom Papa!
Unrelated comment: he's definitely showing some Brian Regan influence in terms of delivery in this routine. Not a bad thing, by the way, because both of them are really funny.
I was thinking about seeing him at Wiseguys in Salt Lake in August.
SLC yes sir!

This guy is hilarious.

Hilarious 😂
Papa's doing Regan on every other punchline man wtf?
hahahahahahahhaha yes!
Ahahaha brilliant :D
Why do I feel like this is Brian Regan 2.0? Lmao!
Papa needs to cut Brian Regan a check
blah blah blah blah blah Brian Regan. There, now everyone who reads the comments will know that I, along with every single other person, felt the need to comment the exact same thing as everyone else because I am so special and what I have to say matters, even if 100 others have already said it.

The adult coloring books are really scary.fr
(But as long as they help the user:✌️)
Pappa Tom
Tom Papa is great
He really sounds like Brian Reagan when he goes for the punch...like exactly. Which is weird because I watched a COCO of him on this same channel from two months later and nothing like that. In fact, someone said he was like Loius Ck which I didn't get at all. maybe I'm off too.
Must be incredibly awkward at your next school event

He's pretty funny
You can tell he likes Brian Reagan
started strong, got weak real fast
Sounds like he's doing Brian Regan's style in his punchlines here.
I guess Omar Mateen was a 16th century man
Does he love it when you call him Big Papa?
Future Island singer is a funny man
I fake the service dog thing all the time. It's way too easy.
Doesn't even need to be an act: the pay gap is largely a myth.
Steven Simmons Like the female orgasm.
Reminds me of Eddie the Eagle.
isn't that the bad guy from suits?
People color in coloring books for stress relief. The most common one is a mandala coloring book.
They are awesome and really do relax you.
Why don't you just try smoking some weed or something instead.
+Karozans not everyone can smoke weed even if they want to
Thank u for telling me there are no great guys. I new it.

agree. Louis is one of the comedians he cops in this set
C.K. rarely focuses on anything outside of himself. This guy was talking about all men. C.K. is all about self deprecating.
Kraydak3 the topic wasn't too far from something Louis would say. It was more his delivery and little laughs that was so Louis.
DM R Fair point.
as a straight man over 25, he nailed it. we suck. we all suck, str8up. he didn't leave out our good parts, re-watch if you missed that.
Funny guy worth watching
