You're absolutely right about the polished finish on stainless having a warmth like nickel plate! Great walk thru of your process! How long does the finish/polish last before you have to hit it again? Go Benntts Customs, keep moving forward!

Looks like an S&S Panhead. HD Panhead has shorter rocker covers. Definitely it's an advantage to start with finer surface of SS for polishing. i have a Metabo SS finishing system that will start at a mill finish to mirror polish process. Sweet looking chopper. Love the tail lights!

Learned something new. I thought those buffers were dedicated machines with tapers. Spindle add-on kits are $15 from Amazon, or other. Yours appear to be from Josco AU. Thanks!

Question. After polishing would a clear coat or powder coating clear be a good idea to protect the finish or just leave it as is?

Clear coat could work. Bit you’d have to clean it so well to get all the polished residue off and I don’t think it would bond very well. Too many contaminants. Best to keep on the hand polish afterwords

You can't overplay the cut down roloc disc tip. As many times as I've seen you use this I am still amazed at the results. I have lots of 2" dics in finer grits and have cut them down to less than 1". I'll never buy another 2". I'll get the 3" and cut them down in steps, getting 3-4 times the use out of each one.
    Thanx as always!

Not a criticism but If it takes under 10mins then Maybe this video should be under 10mins

EDUCATION. He isn't just giving us a fish, he is teaching us how to fish. While watching someone work may be enjoyable for you, most people like to learn about the process so they can apply it to their projects.
