- our ford transit connect mk2 is getting insulated. insulating a van conversion is vital to both keep the campervan conversion warm in the winter along with cooler in the summer. this along with the sound deadening to remove all the road noise and panel boom justvmakes this van suck a pleasure to drive and sleep in. a campervan conversion is only going to be as good as the preparation we do.
Wow that made quite a considerable difference and not as expensive as I thought it was going to be. I can't wait to see the whole project finished, I bet uts going to look really cool. You and Danielle will be able to enjoy loads of trips together in that. X

100% I've since had another van converted for a year without it and stripped it out. Was perfect

A good basement is very important. ie a good car.
And a good made, like this. So yoy can add on because you don´t expect problems, or it need changes.

But at Ford Transit Connect, pay attention to the temperature of the running automatic transmission.
A guy in the USA has mounted a temperature sensor on his transmission.
Together with it´s display.
After his first automatic transmission has broken, and needed an new one, for 5.500,- US-Dollar.
But I like Ford too. It is a good brand for cars and vans.
My van is a bit special. And in good conditiions for the price of 360 pounds only. But new MOT needed.

How did you get the covers over the wheeled off?
The plastic ones? They just pull off. Take the panel off that covers the jack and you'll see all the clips. Put your hands around them and a short sharp tug
