So, after playing with Shadow Davie for awhile, I had a fun idea for an alternative to Shadow Davey that is just as chaotic, Holy Davey. Holy Davey, is Shadow Davey, but instead of a fat man and mini nuke, he only wields and uses Holy Hand Grenades

Uses a melee weapon.
That goes boom.
Can't wait to give the mod a run, will be "fun"

Shadow Davey should spice up my New Vegas save.
My question is how you got the skeleton head on them like in GECK because I too desire to create a cursed companion.
So I don't know how it works exactly, but the skeletons (just like a lot of objects in Fallout) are actually armor. You just can't usually interact with the skeleton so you don't really get to see it's armor or it's stats. I couldn't tell you the exact way to do it but scroll through helmets until you find a "skull" or "skeleton" piece and put it on them.

Question, I downloaded this on the Epic Games version, put everything in the right spots, and turned it on in data files, but they weren't in the abandoned shack near the Yangtze Memorial? Is the Epic Games version considered pirated or something?
It definitely isn't considered pirated, although for whatever reason Bethesda has outright stated that modding isn't supported for Epic Games. Not that its IMPOSSIBLE, but it's not as easy as Steam.
Unfortunately I don't have access to any Fallout game on Epic so I legitimately can't help much on that, but apparently according to others online this helped them solve the problem www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/81281?tab=description

For context: I got shadow davey with a max level courier…….and I forgot to release ED-E as my companion. I went to the shack and my first encounter I decided to make a save and through the convo, he crashed my game. Then I took him outside to try out the “You sound like mitten squad” dialogue and used a flare gun. Within 30 seconds, “ED-E is unconscious”, “Take this, I dont want you to die,” and used at least 20 stimpaks from the mkII suit. Then i tried to 1v1 davey but i forgot he has like a quadrillion health so I just gave up and I decided to reload my save and completed daveys quest, in which I got a stupid clip in which the timing was so absurd and not even planned. i will upload it and link it later.
TLDR: 5 minutes with this demon and he made WW2 look like a tea party.

Why does this mod need the dlc the start
For all of the different Mini Nukes since they're in Gun Runner's Arsenal.
I was referring to the other dlcs, not just gun runners. I had that dlc first when I wrote this comment
