First of all let me say… I’m happy that you two are safe and well! I’m a firm believer that what happens is meant to happen… And I’m glad that it happened down the road from Paige’s house, and not in the middle of that storm that you were trying to run out! Montreal looks like a beautiful city and I’m glad that you were still able to make your event and meet with your friends… Can’t wait to see you both next week be safe, and most of all have fun. I love your playlist…
Van life and life are so similar, you wanted to enjoy the journey more and this is the journey. the ups and downs and trials and challenges make the journey richer. I remember one time we were in our 74 Kombi and lost the whole exhaust off the van in the middle of nowhere. We had to be towed and some crazy guy used a tow rope driving way too fast and his flashing lights were blinding me. He dropped us off ast a camp ground exhaust in the back of the van. It was still hot when we took it out so w could sleep. Good times!. Stay safe guys and enjoy the ride.
Wow what a story. Thankyou for sharing. Yes you are right, this is all a part of it! While we were gutted in the moment, we felt like it was a blessing to happen so close to home. Hello , I have just started watching your channel after catching your Vlog on the Vanwives, so I find your story very interesting and have quite a bit of viewing to do to catch up from the beginning. Your commentiring is easy to listen too and informative along with interesting video work. So far you have certainly had your set backs but you have not let them stand in your way, I like that you are not showing van life to be all peaches and cream and difficulties will have to be dealt with. Stay Safe, Stay Well and BDE!!!
So not the start to van life you wanted but sounds like you made the best of a lousy situation. I grew up in Montreal but left many decades ago so it was nice to see a glimpse of old Montreal again.
